Whatīs really exciting for me is that amongst all his NES games (he practically owns one of every game that was ever made), he doesnīt have
one particular game which
I happen to own; Mr. Gimmick!

And here we see the collector, one of the strangest creatures known to man. These bizaare creatures are dominated by an overwhelming urge to obsessively collect, usually along a very specific theme. They do not collect them for any real purpose, they simply seem to derive pleasure from the act of collecting them, and from appreciating their collection. Surprisingly, despite their compulsive natural urge to collect, collectors nonetheless turn up their noses at any but the most pristine specimens of their chosen theme, and for those pristine or "mint" specimens they are willing to go to great lengths and pay inordinate sums to obtain them.
Here we see this collector of NES games, having found that he has an item another collector of NES games does not, preening at the superiority of his collection, if only from this very limited perspective. As far as can be deduced, this preening again serves no purpose, but seems as compulsive as the collecting is. Truly, this is one of natures most baffling creations, for there are no others known to man that are so difficult to understand.

Couldn't resist it, sorry.
Edit: Re-reading this, I think I might have gotten carried away here. If that is the case then I sincerely apologize. And if you want me to delete this, just say so.
