I ended up going with Fallout 3, because of the extra content(most of which I haven't even seen!

) and fewer bugs.
I've just thrown my level five character, named Avner(I don't actually know why), into Operation Anchorage, for early power armour training. That, and he got curious about the radio broadcast.
I love the Anchorage DLC !!!

I don't think so. It gets so damn cringey. And makes no sense.
But, then again, I need to to get to Broken Steel...
Hmm...
I've only played Broken Steel once, so have been facing the same thing. Really don't like following the FO3 main questline, but ... would like to play Broken Steel again (so have to if I want to).
I have cheated to get my power armor training in the beginning of the game via going off map and popping up in the Citadel; but then it screwed up the main questline so you can't do Broken Steel, so not doing it again (plus decided I liked the Chinese Stealth suit better than the power armor, lol )
The main questline has some of the two most AWESOME moments in gaming history; but you have to go through a lot of BS moments getting to them - like the Dr. Li walk through the tunnels, urk.
Just yesterday I did the run from Casey's to Rivet City with Daddy James; and for the first time ever Daddy James stayed broken through the entire run. He got lost twice, had to be prompted a couple times to continue on; stopped to talk several times - it was weird! At the Raider Camp overpass the road was blocked with vehicles - I don't remember ever seeing so many there on his run! Well, Daddy James got stuck in the vehicles and lost track of the quest completely. I finally had to blow up the cars around him to further the quest and get him running to Rivet City again.
So obviously the next step is the trek to the Jefferson Memorial, and I am dreading that; so instead of playing it today I started a new game in Oblivion, lol.

I've had the weirdest occurrence: a major shortage of .32 ammo. Never seen it happen before, I've not had more than fifteen rounds at any one time, until I got a bunch from the super mutants on the way to start Operation Anchorage.
That is weird! I'm always overrun with it!

I most certainly have not

*drops monocle in drink again*
Had to order a bunch of ammo from far away but it was actually much, much cheaper than if I had ordered it from a place a lot closer to home
