It’s funny. None of us *need* any of that. Kids would be just fine without them.
But...
...since society is so geared towards cell phones and such being like extensions of our selves, any modern child that doesn’t have access to these technologies at a fairly early age are at risk of falling behind their peers. It’s really sad. I’d love to be able to just go off the grid and raise a family out in the woods somewhere, but I know that is almost impossible in this day and age without having a fairly substantial place to start from financially.
The part that gets me, is I could see maybe older teens with them, but people are buying 6 year olds iPhones.
