Mine was to start using this annoying language. Had to today. FIL kept trying to talk to me. Asked if he was alive. My cat that is.

See, today my FIL took me and my kitty to vet. Gubben is super sick. We thought I'd have to put him to sleep.

Vet says dehydration and possible infection so she gave me some prescriptions and gave kitty some fluids and an injection of medicine, and told me to come back if he's not ok in a week.

He's 14ish.

I actually had to use Swedish today. FIL kept asking questions. Pointed out the sun shining on the church(mountains around so direct sun is uncommon when I go places) and asked if he was alive when I came out of the back. I answered in Swedish. Broken Swedish.

This morning, I wished Mrs Acadian a happy new year as she celebrated in Perth, Australia with the grandies.

Now it is time to wish dear mirocu a happy new year and our other friends on the eastern side of the Atlantic.

With more new years behind than ahead of me, I'll forego staying up late enough to celebrate as the new year spreads across America. tongue.gif
