That is actually one of the reasons I did cancel it (because I found out they hadn't taken the money out of my Paypal account yet).
I had just read that link SubRosa posted telling about how the Steam users would have it two days before anyone else (including prepaid orders); and within hours of my rant on here about it I suddenly got an Email from GameStop saying that my order would not be processed till the same day it would be available at Gamestop; and my "rush" "overnight" $11.00 dollars for shipping and handling would get me the game two days after GameStop was handing it out to first come first served.
The Email went on to say that they hadn't processed my payment yet, but would be doing that very soon. (I thought they had withdrawn the funds last June, was kind of stunned to find out they hadn't - and I did check, Paypal had sent me a notice on the order but not withdrawn the funds).
So I immediately tried to cancel my order with GameStop; (couldn't; in fact to this day GameStop has refused to honor the cancellation of that order and is still trying to process it).
When I realized GameStop was going to continue processing my order after I had cancelled it, I called Paypal and cancelled my authorization for that pre-order payment. They sent me a confirmation that Gamestop was no longer authorized to withdraw those funds.
So about 35 minutes later I got another message from GameStop saying they tried to process my pre-payment and were unable to. Talk about acting just in time!

I've decided to wait until I see/hear how well or bad Bethesda did on this one. I have been in the habit of blindly buying anything they produce, and almost did it again with FO4. The years of waiting, the excitement, etc.
But this is the first time they punished those nice people who pre-ordered their game by giving them their copy last on the list even for rush-overnight orders; and truthfully = after Skyrim I'm skittish about whether they are even trying to please their loyal fans or smack them away and just reach out to new younger ones.
So I've decided to give this the go-by until I am satisfied it is worthy of the cost; unless of course my son buys it for me for Christmas.

The first shot is a capture from one of the early video cut scenes so that is why it looks so nice. We just sit back during that part and stare in amazement.
The other shots are pretty close to what the game is like.
The one I showed yesterday, this one, is straight from the in-game. The wall behind you closes the camera in and shows that level of detail.

It is absolutely the best character graphics I've ever seen in any game! Is the game as good as it looks substance and gameplay-wise?
