Well my PC the one I was trying to upgrade wouldn't take the new processor and memory upgrade and ended up frying its own circus so I had to send it in to get it fix and just now got it back. I learned that most Pc you get in stores won't accept upgrades (unless its a custom built PC) and what it comes with it what you get, so unless I buy a gaming laptop my PC probably will only play WoW and nothing else.

It's less of that and more of "CPU manufacturer changes the socket every bloody model so you have to buy a new motherboard".
A r5 won't fit in a r3 socket. Example.
Used to be a lot of proprietary parts in pcs but not as much anymore.

That explains a lot as to why it failed to register in the first place. Well IF I decide to upgrade my PC's memory I'll let a professional do it but for the time being my PC does what it's suppose to and if I need a gaming PC I'll simply buy a gaming laptop though I'll have to finance one cause I don't make that kind of money.

I was on SSI for 30 years and told I could own property, but I had to be living in it. It didn't count towards my asset limit so long as I was the one dwelling in it.
Don't know much about other stuff but I'd be VERY leery about having someone I'm not married to owning the property I live in with out some kind of legally binding contract. Being able to be thrown out at a moment's notice is just a terrible thing.

Totally get you. If SSA can't give you good info, a lawyer might.
The way it was for me(legally blind with bipolar disorder, on it 30 years) was that I could own it, had to be my residence, and no I couldn't rent it out.
All else fails, if your sister or whomever can help out, that's great.
In CA I didn't qualify for food stamps while collecting SSI... that is definitely a state by state thing.

Anyway I think my dad and I are going to put the home ownership in a LLC and that way our butts are covered from any legal issues...Ah the joys of house ownership -_- .

Transferring the ownership will get treated as selling it, if it's not done properly.

If you're gonna do that I recommend a legal expert that specialises in disability law.
I'm one to prefer experts when it comes to stuff that'll hose me if done wrong.

Previously on My House:
Reaper and father decided to go the LLC route on the house as apparently Reaper sister's marriage isn't doing to well and doesn't want their property tied up in Kansas's legal courts in case things go south.
Reaper's father also learned that some attorney's with a bank have latch on leans on the property and Reaper and father begin the task of figuring out how to get around it.
However Reaper has some cousins who might let him have a house but will have to move to Texas but must say farewell to DHS (though that won't hurt me no feelings).
All of this and more on My House!
