I'm inclined to think of them as ridiculous, just because of the lack of backwards compatibility.

Itīs always a shame when you buy new stuff and it ainīt backwards compatible. Iīd love to play Colin McRae 2005 on my Win7 64 but it just wonīt. And those tips online how to make it work doesnīt work for me.

Might as well leave 'em as next-gen until they stop making games for the current-gen. I just don't get why they couldn't make them backwards compatible, I'd bet good money though that they'll find a way to let you rebuy the old games to play on the new consoles.

Heh, you should try getting game to run on Windows 8. I still can't work out why Civ 4 plays up. At least Baldur's Gate works biggrin.gif

Edit: As far as my experience goes, XP was the best OS for games, anything worked on that!

Some people don't mind all of the things I mentioned but they're deal breakers for me.

The scenery is great though. Can't beat that view, although there are some great views here in Arkansas too. Nothing like that endless body of water though.

I'm going to have to change my mind and call it current-gen. The first thing that springs to mind when I hear "Next Generation" is Star Trek. And the Xbox1 and PS4 have nothing on the USS Enterprise NCC1701-d. wacko.gif

And unlike the 360 and PS3, no sign of Patrick Stewart on them yet. laugh.gif

However, personally speaking, I much preferred the 1701-A, -B and -E more than the -D...The -C was that one from the Yesterday's Enterprise episode with the four nacelles wasn't it?...

I started with The Next Generation, so the Enterprise D will always be my favourite. I'm pretty sure the C didn't have four nacelles, they just looked a bit odd.

And that magazine with all the starships? Didn't much like the look of it. Besides, I've got nowhere to put them all.

No need! We got more food today, plus groceries, thanks to me being paid today. We ACTUALLY HAVE MEAT! We haven't bought meat in two months!!!!
