When I was younger I had a hammer by my bed for protection. My mom once set my alarm for 6:00am on a weekend, and it scared the [censored] outta me, so I reached for the hammer and smashed the alarm XD

I did too! Until my mom found it and started interrogating me and asking me why I felt like I needed one. I didn't have any reason besides "what if someone breaks in?!" She took it away.

Lol. My parents didn't know about it until the alarm clock incident, but luckily they let me keep it. My sister tried to take it away because she was afraid I'd sleepwalk and destroy the house with it.
