Great news saquin! What a relief to have her home again! Especially for the male - he's probably tickled pink to have her back once more.
Wonder if she'll brave the big, bad outdoors again? Or will she be content to just peek outside every once in a while?
A cat I had always tried to sneak outside (my first two only went out with me, on long leashes but under my supervision, my current pair are indoors only). She loved to come out with me when I worked in the yard. Until one day when a thunderstorm blew up from nowhere and announced its arrival with lightning almost directly over head, immediately followed by the loudest clap of thunder ever. She didn't know where to run! As soon as I opened the door, she couldn't get inside fast enough! Ever since, she was content to remain indoors.
It's amazing we weren't struck by lightning, as the old house was on the second-highest point in town, and we were under a huge old silver maple on the crown of the hill. Close call that time!
My current two have no interest in heading outdoors, though the Queen will try to sneak out into the garage (she's not allowed there, either, just because you never know what your car's going to leak!). The Knave gets upset if the front door is open too long - I don't blame him because he was born a barn kitten, got hit by a car on New Years Eve and spent the night hiding somewhere before his owner found him and brought him to us for euthanasia. Long story short, he's made his home with us and is determined to stay indoors the rest of his life.
TK, I had to chuckle at your comment about NM. I always counted it as part of the lower 48, and never got confused about it. But when I was planning my very first real vacation (to Santa Fe and Taos), people kept asking me "When are you getting your picture taken?" "Do you have a passport?" "Aren't you worried about Customs?" -- "Uh, no, you only need a current driver's license to go there." "Uh, it's north of the Mexico border, same side as us." "The only thing I need to worry about is the heat of the peppers."
