He's an awesome toddler. I'll give him raspberry tea to settle his tummy and some Tylenol for the fever. He's acting normal, if not a bit sluggish. He's still talking like normal, but he's laying down with his dad while I smoke a quick cigarette. Then I gotta strip his bed, wash all of that with his pjs. It looks like he only puked once. I'm gonna call my MIL (who watched him the day before yesterday) if any of them are feeling sick. He probably got some bad milk and it's still getting out of his system.

Nope, he has all of his teefs. I think he's just sick. And peppermint is excellent! Too bad we don't have any. Raspberry soothes yucky tummies as well, and he loves it. He's in good spirits, though. Just a bit cranky now :/

Poor little guy. Time for a play bath? That was always my favorite way to deal with grumpy and might erupt without warning from either end. Plus it gives mom a reason to sit down.
Elisabeth Hollow
He had one when I woke him up. It was almost noon and he was still asleep, which is weird. He's usually up at 7 or 8 in the AM. Right now he's just... laying there. My poor baby! This isn't right! -tears up-

Guess who cleaned up baby puke? (I thought it was poop)

Poor kiddo is sick with a fever. I can do fever and snot, but not fever and puke. Time to call my mother XD

Poor kid, hope he feels better kvleft.gif

He's up and playing now. He's still warm, but he's on liquids atm. I'm about to head to the store and get him some pedialyte. I think the tea and Tylenol worked.

That's good to hear! Watch his lower back and chest for any rash at that age, and a BRAT diet is always good at times like these to minimize the diaper issues. Not much can be done to stem the flow from the other end.

BRAT diet = Bananas, Rice, Applesauce, and Toast - dries up any diaper issues.

2 year olds don't get sick like that very often. When they do it is usually one of those childhood (measles, chicken pox, etc) things.

As long as it isn't German Measles and no one is pregnant, it is fine. You bathe the rash in oatmeal baths and put Calomine on it.

In Tennessee we hold "Chicken Pox" parties at anyone's house whose child had been exposed - get all the children exposed at once and get it out of the way.

Really? When I got the chicken pox, my mom and stepdad took me so far into the woods that there was no chance that anyone else would atch it.

Then again, it was deer season... and "No chikkn pax is gon' get in th' way uf me gittin' a deer!"

So said my great grandfather.

King Of Beasts
There was a hero named Ragnar the red who came riding to Whiterun from ole Rorikstead,
and the braggart did swagger and brandish his blade as he told of bold battles and gold he had made,
But then he went quiet did Ragnar the red when he met the shield-maiden Matilda who said,
"Oh you talk and you lie and you drink all our mead, now I think it's high time that you lie down and bleed"
And so then came clashing and slashing of steel, as the brave lass Matilda charged in full if zeal,
And the braggart named Ragnar was boastful no mooooore...
When his ugly red head rolled around on the floor!

I had all four of my wisdom teeth out at once, years ago. (Just the four, though. Seven? That really sucks, DE/LL.) I had unwisely planned to visit my brother (and his hot roommates) at the beach shortly after. So even though I had spent three months doing jump squats in preparation, here’s what I looked like in my new white bathing suit: Link.
