It's been around that long? Holy crabcakes.
I wasn't a member of any TES related stuff Tim around Skyrim release, but I still played the older games.
Holy cow. Still. 12 years? I don't know a lot of online communities that have been around that long.
Still a chorrol noob. ><
Think the real question is, how old *is* Chorrol?

... Think the real question is, how old *is* Chorrol?
Chorrol was started/formed in Feb 2005 by Alexander and stargelman in anticipation of Oblivion.
The forum saw a significant influx of new fanfic writers in the spring of 2010 in response to some undesirable format changes by the Bethesda official forums that were unfriendly to fic writers. At that time, treydog belonged to both forums and invited us to join chorrol. Hence, you may sometimes hear the term 'trey-babies' in reference to that influx. We are identified by the join date of mid March 2010 that we all share.

I see.
Yeah there's been a lot of changes at the official forums over the years. I've not been back since Haven. I can only imagine what horrors they did to the fic writers.

And now for something completely different..... a shameless product plug.
For years, I suffered from dandruff and itchy scalp. I'd shower and shampoo in the morning, then by the time I reported for work my shoulders were caked in dandruff. Very noticeable. So much so people would occasionally 'brush me off'. My scalp constantly itched. I was forever scratching it, which of course did my dandruff problem no good. This went on from before I entered the military until some years after my military retirement. I tried lots of shampoos and shampoo / conditioner combos. Including specialty dandruff shampoos like Head & Shoulders and Selsun Blue. Not only didn't they help, but Head & Shoulders made my scalp more itchy than it normally was. At some point I gave up the quest, realizing that it was my lot in life to put up with dandruff until the day I died.
Then, during a Walmart grocery run maybe two decades ago, I noticed a hair care produce previously unknown to me. It's name: Equate Extra Strength Anti-Dandruff Formula Therapeutic Shampoo, 5% Coal Tar topical. It wasn't all that expensive. I decided to give it a try, expecting nothing. To my utter amazement dandruff and itchy scalp vanished after either its first or second application. They never returned! Long lasting too. Instructions say to use it twice a week, two applications during each use. I find I usually need to apply it only once per shower (rather than twice) for full effect, though occasionally do need a second application. Being fully retired and a stay-at-home who seldom ventures among the public, I don't shower all that frequently. Twice a week is usually sufficient. Occasionally once a week. (I will of course shower more often when the situation demands it.) Anyway, even during those weeks I take but one shower the shampoo remains effective!
Word of warning. it comes in two strength. The one I use, and one with half its tar value. The boxes are very to confuse. On those occasions Walmart has been out of the Extra Strength, I find the Regular version keeps me dandruff-free but leaves my scalp slightly itchy. Maybe not right away. But I notice it before my next shower.
For those who don't have a Walmart close by (or prefer to shop elsewhere, which I fully understand) the label states: Compares to Neutrogena T/Gel Therapeutic Shampoo Extra Strength. (It's of course more expensive.)
There you have it. I've sold out to Big Coal-Tar. Be that as it may, if you are someone you know suffers from dandruff and/or itchy scalp you might want to give it a try. As all product endorsements must state, your mileage my vary. It might do nothing for you.

hehe..
I found the cause of my scalp issues to be perfumed shampoo.
I switched to a perfume free and my scalp itch and stuff stopped. My skin is weird. I'm allergic to hair dye, and can't use perfumed stuff on my scalp, but that's it. Perfumed laundry detergent gets me, but lotions and shower gels don't.
Strange.
Also, khajiit, I think he hasn't bathed in 2 years. I mean, look at him.

Thanks to Rider's sound recommendation and reviews, I spent quite a bit of time researching her gaming chair. After much consideration I just ordered a slightly different model by the same company. The main diffs I went for is the model I ordered has a bit deeper seat (for longer legs) and a built in adjustable lumbar support (via knob) instead of a movable pillow. I expect it'll take awhile to get here but will provide my impressions after arrival, assembly and some time using it.

Ah the ye oldie Bethesda Forums. Met a lot of people there, shared ideas for future Elder Scrolls game and then there was that My Little Pony Friendship is Magic Thread that was popular for awhile but eventually puttered out as the sight began to shut down and migrate over to Bethesda.Net.

Going to keep this short, because no one really wants to read about my health issues. The year has been---- annoying.
Early on (December maybe?)- I had what felt like fever/weakness, lack of appetite. Got tested for the virus- came back negative. Still, went to doctor to have myself checked- BP crashed (systolic went to 70). Ride in an ambulance- with an EMT named (you can't make this up) "Bussard". Ultimate diagnosis- no flu, no plague- simply dehydration.
Bit later- cut my big toe getting out of the shower and attempting to avoid stepping on a cat. Went about my business, until the toe (and ball of foot) started to hurt- a lot. I decided it was gout.
Finally bad enough to go to clinic. Got tetanus shot and antibiotic shot and antibiotic pills. Not much improvement. To doctor- again. Another shot- and heavier antibiotic pills- plus steroid pack. Final answer- "non-gout inflammation- bone spurs." Steroids knocked down the swelling and I can wear real shoes again.
Meanwhile- week AFTER stopping the antibiotics- my GI tract decides to go nuts. Which ultimately caused a SECOND ER visit, because lower abdominal pain woke me at midnight and did not get better. Basically colon had gone into a spasm. Anti-spasmodic pills (2 kinds, AND anti-nausea pills to counteract one side effect of the others.) I will say, although I initially opposed getting it- IV morphine is wonderful when your colon is staging a rebellion.

Well, Trey = WTF? None of this sounds good, and whenever weird stuff starts happening all over in different areas of your body one right after another it is usually some kind of an autoimmune process; they tend to hit all your systems and cause weird chaos.
I sure hope you get better fast; and that low blood pressure is critical to get handled thoroughly. Be careful and vigilant!

What a coincidence. My brother just bought a new car. Well, used, but new enough. Just 4/5 years old. A real shame he needed to. His old car had been giving him problems off and on for some years. Earlier this month something went wrong that would cost a mint to rectify. Being as he works at a car dealership, they convinced him to buy another vehicle instead of doing the repair. I can't say they are wrong, though I'd have done a lot of research before committing one way or the other.
Which is all beside the point. Hope you're happy with your new toy!

Well, life goes on, COVID or no COVID. I've been working from home supporting via chat, and loving every minute of it. I've had some wonderful interactions, and lots of positive feedback, so I know this has been a perfect move for me. Now that the vaccines are out, and people are getting them, my employer is looking at moving everyone back into the stores.
Unfortunately over the past year my dry eye and my lung disease have both progressed to the point where I physically can not work in the store anymore. After discussions with my managers (who have been wonderful, by the way), it was decided that I submit a medical accommodation request to continue supporting Apple from home. Hopefully this will result in my current role transitioning from temporary to permanent WFH in service chat.
My managers agree that having to put drops into my dry eye hourly nd having to lug a E tank around behind me on a cart are not conducive to being on the floor, so they are looking to protect me and keep me a part of the company. I'm hopeful that this will lead to the desired outcome for me.
