I was going to semi-agree with Blackie. If you want Snuggles to snuggle, you have to snuggle something else to lure him in. A toy, husband, etc - make a fuss over hugging and snuggling the other thing, and the child will immediately see he is missing out on something good.
Mentally playing with children's minds...may the vicious cycle continue for many, many generations too come.
Seriously, sometimes I think it's the only reason to have 'em!
Kind of like telling them you have hidden a piece of candy in their (insert food they hate here) and if they eat it all up they will find it? ROFL !!!
** Best have a piece of candy on hand if you do this, and when they have eaten a bunch point behind them and say, "WHAT'S THAT?" - When they turn around you slip the candy on their plate and say "Look, you found it!" lol.
