Snuggie? Burn it.

I got a snuggie for Christmas. I haven't touched the box it's in

WHAT??

He said snuggie, not Snuggles. He means one of those blankets with arms sewn on them. Personally, I'd rather snug up in a blanket that covers my back too, with my arms wrapped inside the blanket like a burrito or something.

Although the image of someone walking up to Liz, and going:

"Excuse me, do you mind if I borrow your Snuggles? I want to use him as a blanket, and stick his feet in my mouth to warm up you see..."

has me smiling.

Yes, I expect anyone trying to make a burrito out of Snuggles would get a punch in the mouth, then be issued a watermelon.

All I did was recommend using a snuggie instead of a blanket!

To top it off, my husband passed out at the dentist's office... Apparently the dentist makes him nervous.

One of his wisdom teeth is infected and has been causing him a lot of pain. He's called into work three times in the past week because of the pain. He's been lying on the couch and won't joke or play around with me because he hurts so much.

Ouch. At least he'll be better now

The dentist's office is the only place where a guy sits you in a chair unrestrained, pulls out a high powered drilling device that he intends to stick into your mouth, and then tells you to relax.

Btw my teeth were growing horizontally, towards the sides of the normal teeth. Who the hell decided to call them "wisdom"??

I will eventually. I don't even know if I have bottom ones. One of my top teeth is a baby tooth. There was no adult tooth to replace it.

Because a wise person will make the decision to pull out said teeth

Two teeny things...

It's still bloody snowing!!!! ...

And...

It's brought a second hedge down!!! ...

If you can imagine for a sec, here's the front of the house like this ______ ...Then there's three hedges around the garden...Y'know one like | ...then another across the front with a gap for the path sort of like ~ ~-ish and then another back down like | again...Well, yesterday part of the one back down had collapsed and is now just a mound of snow...So we'll be seeing more of the neighbours anyways... ...But this morning, I looked out and wondered what that pile by the car was...And then I realised I couldn't see one side of the front hedge...It's collapsed onto the public walkway out front...

So, I know what I'm doing today... ...So yeah, so much for avoiding the snow... ...

And I'm working tomorrow... ...

Well, maybe...It may be snowed off, so I don't have to...*Vaguely hoping*...

That sounds really irritating. The last time it snowed while I was home, I had to dig out my car.

I'm not kidding...I don't think we've had this much snow for years...I can't remember it ever being this bad since the wife and I've been here together...Which is hurtling towards 16 years...

Well, I've just watched the weather forecast...

More snow today!!!...YAY!!... ....

We live in what's called a rain-shadow...Which is when you're living one side of a mountain range and said mountain range usually takes all of the moisture laden weather and tends to mean we here get less wet weather than some...It usually leap-frogs us and starts again further inland...

But this snow is coming in the opposite direction to where it usually comes from...So we're getting it bad...

Yep, worst I can remember to be honest. Just opened the front door, and this massive wedge just fell straight inside and landed on my slippers.

Wait.... I meant on my very trendy footwear. Not slippers. I wouldn't wear slippers of course, being for gentlemen of a more elderly nature.

Moving on.

I've just opened the back curtains and it's piled up against the patio door... ...

There's still more to come... ...

As for the slippers...Pah...Lightweight... ...I've done so much walking that my feet are as tough as bloody hobbits' feet... ...

Why do I now have the image in my head of the "Undead McBadgere" I summoned last week being barefoot, surprisingly hairy and only three feet tall?
