So now you can write that way on the go? Outstanding! I grinned at "holy crap it came" in lovely letters.

Yep. Most of the calls are pre-scheduled, so I can take my time with my Manuscript brand. But with the Pilot Plumix I can actually do it while taking a poor soul to the ER.
Most EMT's have a reputation (rightfully so, IME) of being brash meatheads with their heads stuck somewhere between their nether region and the 1950's, so when I approach the cranky ER nurse with attempting to be polite and giving the jist without trying to diagnose the condition, they're usually more taken aback by my light touch, than the patient's condition.
Once, I did have my fountain pen on me and was doing the run like that, and as we go to leave, I have her sign my run sheet forgetting all about the pen, she signs, looks at the pen, looks at my left hand and says point blank:
"Do me a favor, sweetie? Marry my daughter, please? Her Man's trash."
I did a double take and gave the sign for "Roll Tide". (Our slang for no need to pre-evaluate or checklist anything, just get the hell out of Dodge.
