Yes; it's another double feature! Since it's the official semla day (for real) I had plans to get a semla today, but I didn't count on Boss to give me one too! The second one he gives me this season! It's unheard of!* ohmy.gif

It's been a while since I posted about my BIL. He improved with hospice and actually came off Hospice Care in March when Medicare wouldn't pay any more of it. At that point he was breathing much better, learning to walk again, and enjoying his days out on the deck overlooking the golf course (the MAIN reason they bought this house when they moved to CO - it backs onto a golf course - of course).

He was doing so well they decided to try cancer therapy again. However one immunotherapy session pretty much blew everything apart - his reaction to it was much worse than they were hoping for, and they canceled the second one and put him back on Hospice yesterday. He passed away early this morning. Sister said it was peaceful, so at least there's that.

I will always treasure the first time I met him when he came up with Sister for Brother's graduation from engineering school. Knew he was a keeper when he tested my speech reading skills by mouthing "F**k you" to me across the dinner table at the restaurant, and laughing when I mouthed "F**k you too" back.

RIP, BIL. Say hello to Dad - he always liked you.
