They also called me into the nurses office today and tested me for drugs because I was so dizzy from the malaria pills I couldn't walk in a straight line

Sweet! Glad some people I know are still around here. I've been living in the '70s for a while now so I haven't had much technological access. (No internet, no smart phone, video games, etc.)

It's been interesting and fun, (a lot less time wasted) but sometimes you just need the damned internet. So I'm at the coffee shop taking advantage of the free wi-fi.

Feeling a little crappy because I just sold a bunch of guitar pedals to pay rent. they were pedals I didn't use that much, but I hate nothing more than losing guitar equipment. At least I didn't walk into the shop with my amp, 'cause I almost did. Would've broken my little heart.

On the plus side, I get a roof over my head for another 30 days. Woohoo.

I'm currently enjoying my shiny new Art of the Mass Effect Universe book; I've always enojyed reading through design notes and looking at the concept art behind various forms of artistic media (I'm one of these boring sods who likes watching the 'making of' bits that come with DVDs) and this book is great. Could do with some more detail on the design process that happened alongside the drawings, but god damn does some of that artwork look good!

I have the artbooks for Fallout 3 and Skyrim and I agree with you. The pictures and thoughts described are great!
