Aw, Uleni; that is so sad that he is gone, but I do most def think the cremation was a good thing. They stay right with the family then, kind of like where they belong. And most crematories for pets offer some nice choices in urns that memorialize your dog in whatever way best suits you.

Feeling depressed. I've lost contact with a guy I've known since I started coming here and haven't heard from him in a couple of months. Can't get ahold of him through any of the normal methods and several other people close to him are having the same problem. Nobody seems to know what happened to him.

It may just mean he´s having issues with his phone/internet connections and/or is preoccupied with things in his life. Maybe he has a need to be alone for awhile? In any case, hopefully everything is alright with him and he´ll turn up again.
I suspect you have already contacted his neighbours?

Worst part is we met online and have eachother's first names/numbers but don't know full names or more detailed info. Hopefully he's alright but the reality is, we've never had him take more than a couple of hours to get back to us so after two months it's hard not to imagine the worst.

Understandable.
We all feared the worst with mALX but thankfully she pulled through and came back the same person she was before. I do hope your friend will do the same and that your worst fears will be shown to have been completely wrong.
Sorry I can´t give any helpful suggestions on what to do

Mirocu brings up a good point, Kiln. As you mention wondering about your friend I'm sure that reminds several of us of mALX's stroke-induced departure. It leaves you stuck in limbo between fear and worry. Hoping for the best but fearing the worst. Hopefully your friend, like mALX, will return. Then you can decide whether to be angry at him for not letting you know what was going on or just grateful to have him back.

I do hope you find them. I know some of our friends on this site have felt like family members to me; and you do worry about them as if they were; but most especially when suddenly everyone stops hearing from them. Have you tried Nexus; TESAlliance; (etc)?

If this friend is prone to depressions, they may be isolating themselves. Kobby has done that before - used to scare me to death!
But online - a lot of people move on to other things, and coming back may feel uncomfortable = like Mustard; Alexander, etc. - so it probably isn't the worst case like you may be thinking, I mean unless the person was elderly or in bad health or something.
