Oh yeah. When my husband lost his job and was home all the time I thought I was going to scream. Now the football season has started - he may never leave the couch. But at least if I know he is there, I can find somewhere else to be. Like on here.

Be careful with your abdomen, let it heal thoroughly. Yeah, my husband too. He goes out for a beer run and I get a 10 minute reprive. When he is home, he wants to "instruct me" on what household chores I should be accomplishing. I always ask him if he wants me to list all the chores he should be doing, and it ends there, lol.

He's smart then. Mine has tried to tell me how he likes to see the dishes done. I stepped aside and invited him to do them "his way" if it was that important. He scurried out of the kitchen faster than a rat leaving a sinking ship.

Oh! So when I was choosing a company to get the Internet hooked back up, I had to get this certain one because they were giving away these enormous SEC flags of your pic! (3' X 5'3") So of course I chose them to get a flag for my husband. It came today in the mail, and he spent all day clearing off WALLS IN THE HOUSE to hang it! Liz, I'm so glad your tummy troubles were identified and seem much better now. Sorry about the housing troubs also. I got nervous when you said you cut your hair, but then I saw a pic of your new doo on the other thread - cute as a button (as ever)!

Yeah. Work still sucks, especially with a new boss who seems to, for no reason, dislike me and treat me like crap. Oh well.
But my hair looks good.
And it's really nice finally not being in pain. My doc thought I had Crohn's disease, but nope.

Sorry 'bout work. Have you tried tickling your boss into submission? I mean, it never worked for me, but then I don't have that cute as a button thing going like you do.
Well, I'm not a doctor (and I don't play one on the internet

), but having your appendix removed and being done with it sounds way better than my understanding of attempting to manage Chron's.

My doc was actually fearing it was worse than Crohn's. Luckily it wasn't.

My immediate boss doesnīt seem to be too fond of me either, or itīs just who she is. Iīve talked to the others about how she is and they just shake their heads in recognition. Seems like your boss is targetting you specifically, isnīt there someone more above you can talk to about this?

Well, I see that everyone here has had fun with my Doctor's Hat, going off on a Who trip and what not . . .
I was thinking more along the lines of this:

Always been a big fan of Dr. Seuss since I was yea high.
Anyway, I never got to go to concerts much when I was a teenager - never had the money for tickets and gas and et. al. But thanks to modern technology I got to enjoy one of my favorite voices from high school from the comfort of my own home - before I had to go to work.
Yup, I enjoyed the Pretenders way back then. Always thought Chrissie had a neat way of singing. So she performed yesterday live in London at the Roundhouse, and I got to watch it live on TV yesterday afternoon (we're several hours behind). Her concert was awesome! I got her album and played it on the way to work.

Tom Baker was my first Doctor. As the saying goes, the first is always special. So that hat and scarf are near and dear to my heart.
David Tenannt is my favorite Doctor though. But he never got much into cranial accoutrements. Come to think of it, he would make a great Ungarion. I can so picture Ungarion saying

The Quarrel of Chorrol and the Squirrel
In this last year, we've been worried to death over the uncertain fate of a dear member who just recently returned to us from the penumbra of that same uncertainty. Though not without scars or memories of darker times, blessedly mALX still draws breath and still remains herself.
In the last few days, we've seen the risen ghost of the very incarnation of single-minded stupidity rise and try once more to upset and 'destroy' Chorrol. (How do you destroy a concept?)
Well before all this; going over a year now there was a conflict that preceded her disappearance. I'm not going into details, I'm not naming names, I'm not pointing fingers. That's kind of the opposite of what this letter entails. Rather I will say that I lowered myself to the perceived levels of others that I felt went overboard in regards to myself, and her.
It was thought that I was emotional and that I would let it go after I cleared the air. This clearly wasn't the case as I've maintained my position and rhetoric over these many months.
Yes, I know that I'm the only one who keeps bringing it up, and that we're all sick and tired of it.
At the behest of a dear friend, whom I wish to state unequivocally did not encourage me to take this position, indeed begged me to let it go almost from the get-go, and whom I martyred in many ways during her absence, still asks me to let it go and to return in some capacity.
Because she asks, and because she is okay: I will as much as I am capable let it go. No more rhetoric, no more cryptic posts that embody my bitterness to the reaction of rolling eyes. It's been over for some time, I'm joining the present moment.
Do not get this twisted, however. Forgiveness is not a word that has entered my vocabulary in the last few days. It may come in time, it may not. I'm just stopping my constant resurrection of it.
Just as in the face of a common enemy I'll come back and fight for a person that I call friend, I'll rise again if they are treated as such again.
But I'm letting this fight end now, just to end this farce of constant pain.
Let the end of it be welcome now, my struggle with the anger be in vain.
For mALX,
Signed,
Black Hand
