I've played sets like that before, and it's really discouraging. You're up there, giving the crowd your energy, and...nothing. My husband is a guitarist and I'm a singer and we both wetr sad.

Regardless, I was taken to a Play back in 1992-3? and fell in love with this strange new world of 'Phantom of the Opera' I was eleven.

Decades later, and it is a symphony of my childhood. Three years ago my father; the man whose idea it was originally to drag two hellions and my mother out too see it, passed away. That song has captured my grief and nostalgia for better days and him many times since his loss.

Sang from the heart, there is no 'better' version of this song. Nostalgia means 'old wound' in greek, one that your beautiful voice has opened anew.

I spent about six months living and studying on an island a few miles from there when I was in college. I love the outer banks. On a calm day you can stand chest-deep and see your feet. (Er, assuming that like me you can look down and see them when out of the water, lol.)

So, I just went to take a picture of my laundry mountain. When I checked to make sure no undergarments were showing, I made a discovery. There were no undergarments present in the pile.

Now I know Mr. Grits has his nasty running clothes in a separate bag, so he’s not under suspicion. But seriously did no one else in my family put on pants for an entire week?!
