I'm standing by to make your crafted sets on NA. Also on either server I can keep you supplied with research pieces (but sadly can't hasten the actual research!).

I plan to be at both meetings. Maybe we can get your monster heads!
ghastley
Now they have both hit CP150, I've switched to foraging mode, as they want to be able to supply the materials for their grown-up gear. I'm thinking that wearing 5+1+1 weights is the way to go, with the cuirass being the heavy, and guards as a medium, for max resist. So now I'm doing my sums, and figuring out what each needs. I was surprised not to find a quick total by googling.

I'll probably request Order's Wrath body pieces for both of them, and they'll gather their own overland set for weapons and jewelry. I may need help upgrading what they find, too.

Acadian
Great progress, ghastley!
ghastley
And I have sown confusion in the lands. ohmy.gif

Petal put together the materials for a cuirass, but I sent them to Grits instead of burnt, by mistake, as I was doing the same for Fiorello, who wants the same piece. So Fiorello got his cuirass in the mail, in response to Petal's request, and his own was returned as a duplicate. wacko.gif

Now I think I have to get Fiorello to request Petal's cuirass, in order to unwind this. He has the ingredients, and Petal doesn't any more.

Then we have to get the light and medium orders sorted out, but that needs some surveys done with max rank in clothier, so we get all ruby level. They're both one rank short, and closing fast. Still on track for the guild meetings, if the pieces fall into the right places. Petal passed the 160 mark, and Fiorello is about to do the same. They'll run dolmens for the overland jewelry (Spriggan's and Mother's Sorrow) and do the quests for the bow and staff that go with them. Hopefully the pieces from the other sets will bump them up to 50 in clothier, so we can spend the final skill point there.

Tell you what, just tell me what you want making and I'll make it biggrin.gif (Materials on EU isn't a problem, it's NA where I have a fraction less than nothing wink.gif )
Grits
I received the NA request first and so was extra confused! Now I think that both Petal and Fiorello have their cuirasses. Brynja and Elke seem to have figured it out. biggrin.gif

As Burnt said but the opposite server, just send me a list of what you need on NA and I'll make it. Mountains of mats on NA to share.

Looking forward to meeting Petal and Fiorello at the guild meetups!

We finally got there on EU, despite Discord (Shocking I know, who'd have thought Discord would hate me, despite the 1000's of previous examples) refusing to work for me.
ghastley
All's well that ends well. Petal and Fiorello both have their Order's Wrath, and are starting to collect the overland pieces, which means large quantities of the other two sets in each zone. But since we need the inspiration from deconstructing them, I suspect most of the "wrong set" pieces will be jewelry, which we can't.

Does anyone want all the Platinum dust we've collected, while clearing the metal nodes?
ghastley
RNG has stuck again. Fiorello had seven Rings of Mothers Embrace in a row, so I switched over to Petal, who got four Necklaces of the Seventh Legion before I decided to call it a day. I hope it changes tomorrow.

It did change, and they each have a set of jewelry and a weapon for the five slots. In both cases, the other weapon is not cooperating.
ghastley
Since the Undaunted event started today, Fiorello decided to try and do Maj's pledge solo. I've done Banished Cells 1 solo before on other characters, but he had to give up at Shadowrend 3 : Fiorello 0. He just can't sustain yet.

Maybe we'll try Fungal Grotto first. kvright.gif
Acadian
Maybe try doing a pug group on some of Maj's easier ones?
ghastley
Petal tried Fungal Grotto 1 this morning. Died to the first pack of mobs. Then I noticed we were still on veteran from the Selene's Web run at the guild meeting. sad.gif

She did a lot better on normal, and has her first two event tickets. smile.gif
Acadian
Grats to Petal! Normal FG1 solo is a good milestone. Heh, Buffy's had that happen too. Gee, that first pack of mobs was awfully hard! Uh-oh, still on Vet from some silly pug or such.

I was going to suggest checking to see if you had armor on under your costume/outfit (before you revealed it was Veteran mode, lol). I remember Jerric having a week of struggling to stay alive several years back = till Grits discovered he was nude beneath his costume, rollinglaugh.gif I still get a kick out of that every time I remember it; because it was just so ... Jerric, laugh.gif (to be running around nude and not know it; possibly after some heavy mead drinking = and he IS a Nord = who DO have a history of nudity without knowing it, laugh.gif )
Acadian
Heh, mead makes his clothes fall off. Kind of like Buffy around water. tongue.gif

rollinglaugh.gif Yes, lol.

I can't remember his name, but remember that Nord Innkeeper in Oblivion that was nude/pants-less under his apron? I can't remember his name; but it was the Inn you do your first Dark Brotherhood contract in. (like "Inn of Ill Repute" or "Omen" or something).

Morrowind also had pants-less Nords; but I think there was a witch involved in their nudity, lol. (while Jerric was just partying on and forgot, lol)

.
ghastley
ESO too. and there's a more direct quote of the Morrowind one(s) on Vvardenfell.. Probably more, but I recall doing both of those.

Grits
Congrats to Petal!

Haha I remember Jerric's accidentally naked dungeon running. He discovered the mistake while in the Banished Cells with a random group. Whoops!
Sakiri
I'm able to solo some base game vets and I've done most all base game ones duo. Done almost every dungeon on normal duo as well, just to get my clears. Skill point quests biggrin.gif

Got in what was it, I THINK elden hollow 2 HM last boss, buddy was tanking, I was healing, and the dps kept standing in the fire and dying so we stopped rezzing and just killed it.
ghastley
Fiorello has done a FG1 run or two (once for practice, once as pledge) solo now, but he's not ready for veteran solos yet. However, he has a Slimecraw shoulder, needs a hat, and Wayrest Sewers 1 is today's pledge. Additionally, the daily endeavors are to do a dungeon, and get an event tickets, so he can kill three birds with one stone, and probably a lot of help!

Petal has now solo'ed four, and got her Selene shoulder at the second attempt. The Stormfist one she got first was medium, so she's getting tempted to try for the helmet.

Aw, I had totally forgotten the one in ESO; I must have done that one back in 2015 when I first started playing it!

That made my whole decade; because every time I remember it = always brings a smile or laughter!

Fiorello and Petal have taken advantage of the ESO plus trial to get Antiquities up to level 7 (so far) and they can now chase after a few Mythics, We have a couple of the leads alredy for RotPO, and could probably get the rest without help. Oakensoul looks possible too, but Velothi-ur needs a group. Any others I should consider in the time available?
Acadian
I've only dug up the leads for Oakensoul one time. For the rest of the Buffy variants, I reconstructed it. Since it is a set of one, having the ring totally fills its stickerbook = reconstruct cost of only 25 transmutes and gives you a choice of traits. Although. . . camping mudcrab beach sure is fun! tongue.gif

ghastley
Fiorello now has the RotPO, and Petal has four of the five pieces. We just need the Bangkorai chests (which are at least easy to see now) to give us the last lead. On the other hand, she has a piece of Oakensoul, and he doesn't. Both may go for the crab tomorrow, but time on the trial is running short.

Update: Petal now has RotPO too, and crab time is looking like soon.

Fiorello got one piece of Oakensoul, too, but farming the rest in the time left looks impossible. Especially twice. We can't even chase the DLC leads, and get the others after the trial ends, as they all need both Greymoor for scry/excavate, and High Isle to reach the dig sites.

Both did get Alinor Allemande, so the essentials are covered. biggrin.gif
ghastley
Because we did our daily writs before the ESO+ trial ended yesterday, we did not notice this quirk until today. The game lets you pick up Jewelry Crafting writs when you don't have the ability to use the crafting station. It does at least let you abandon them, so you're not stuck with one of your 25 quests blocked.

I was doing some end of year cleanup on the characters I had been neglecting, and found that i had fragments of the Psijic Amrosia recipe on just about all of them. Only one ot two had got the set and made the recipe. I knew we had six of the seven in the EU guild bank, so they all went there, to tidy the stacks, and convert the fragments into recipes.

Some of them made more than one, so we dropped the duplicate in the bank, in case anyone couldn't complete the set. By the time i got to Fleur, there were five recipes. She pulled out the pieces, made another with the ones she had, and dropped that in. Then I remembered that they don't auto-stack and went to pull out the six and consolidate. There was only one there.

Turned out that mALX was doing something similar at exactly the same time, and had just pulled them to learn one. I looked again and four were back. so I added the extra to the stack, and put a stack of five back in.

I just hope she didn't start thinking she was losing it when the four she put back became five again.

Made enough space by stacking to put in my hoard of duplicate blue furnishing plans. I had held off because so many Master writs were going in while the table chase was in progress. Now we have them all, the guild bank can go bank to normal, and fill up with style pages from events. tongue.gif

Lol, I wasn't sure on the recipes appearing and disappearing, lol.

What I ended up doing yesterday was = starting another character on the EU; which meant going into the Guild Bank and having the newbie read recipes and motifs to level her up quicker (so she can do writs, etc).

I have noticed an issue lately with the game = when my new characters go into a delve or dungeon for the first time ever; the boss is showing a white icon, as if they have already been beaten by this character. In the past; the boss was always black the first time they entered so I knew if they had been there and done that yet = now I have no way of knowing. And the map icon for the delve also turns white when I leave the delve whether I kill the boss or not; because in some of them I just grabbed the skyshard and left and the delve showed a white icon on the map later. Is this associated with the "account wide achievements?"

ghastley
Yes, there's an account-wide achievement for killing the boss of a delve the first time. The ones I find most confusing are the map summaries, where it may show you have only one delve not yet done, but you click/hover on the line to get a list, and they're all checked off.
Sakiri
I don't have boss location markers in any of the new ones, don't think my addon got updated. Annoying. The only one that shows incomplete otherwise is the group event, but even that's not reliable.
Burnt Sierra
Oh my. Just watched the Twitch Stream.

Sub Classes. Really want to see how that's going to work, the possibilities could be fantastic.
Acadian
I look forward to learning more about that. Could be good.
Burnt Sierra
Crown Sale now on, if anyone was waiting for it.

Also, just read the PTS Patch notes. That (perhaps unsurprisingly) is a LOT of changes to some skills and passives. Arcanist's that aren't using subclasses are going to really struggle with sustain now I suspect, assuming they don't change their changes. Going to be fascinating watching how things change over the next few weeks, think we could be in for a wild ride! laugh.gif
haute ecole rider
Already my Antiquarian's Keen Eye (good for treasure trunks) is working on Heavy Sacks! That would be super useful in those super dark dungeons!

And Castle Skingrad is on sale! Good thing crowns are also on sale . . .
