It's the nice thing about PvE'ers in smaller campaigns tbh. Leave them alone and they leave you alone. Or in Eolan's case, they run for the hills when he's spotted.

Jerric has been wandering around Cyrodiil having a good old time. So far the only things on two legs that have attacked him were a giant (who Jerric thought was a statue) and some Dominion guards. Turns out you can't just stroll into town on dead lizard's note delivery business unless the town is controlled by your faction. Jerric is not great at keeping track of such things, so there was one regrettable elf-killing incident. Enemy players have treated him as a fellow adventurer. Hopefully that will continue. He's having a blast.
Tell Jerric his map should tell him who holds every city; Blue colored map marker means Daggerfall, Yellow is Aldmeri, and red is Ebonheart. The NPC's don't care what faction you are in, (they just want you to help them with their quests) but the guards do.
I'm shocked enemy players just let you go on adventuring, are you sure they weren't your same faction? That is so rare!
When I'm in Cyrodiil, I turn on "Titles" = it shows enemy's titles in red lettering so you can see them from far enough away to be warned and hide or evade.

Yep, they were all enemy players. Jerric is Pact, and the only other Pact players he saw were in the safe area by the Northern Morrowind Gate. He crossed Dominion territory to get to Covenant-controlled Bruma for a quest, then he soloed the dolmen there while the Covenant guards kept chucking fireballs at him from their bridge. Someone also took a shot at him when he passed an AD/DC fight along their border, but he didn’t stop and they didn’t follow.
It seems that holding block while backing away is the PvEer’s way of saying Let’s Be Friends in Cyrodiil. He even ran right into a big knot of AD players in a delve passageway, and they collectively blocked and slid on by. He finally did get killed by someone on his unbelievably long ride back from below the IC. She zapped him while he was running for a dolmen, and the resulting discussion gave him a quick trip back to the gate.

Then I won't bring my Dwemer ghost character Mzthlft to EOS. I don't think it's even possible to pronounce it. Fortunately Dwemer is not a playable race, which makes not doing so easier.
To be fair, Dwemer names are created by Bethesda and don't actually have a pronunciation guide. Why
doesn't Bethesda have a pronunciation guide? Bethesda, explain. Why can't your voice actors pronounce names consistently, either????

Anyways, I got someone to trade Sapiarch motifs with and not only have I finally unlocked the full style for Outfits, but the Squad has finished their respective crafts' motif collection. The Crafting Monkey only needs four more to finish his. Now I remember why I decided to focus on the Crafting Monkey, but I wanted Jo to have this motif first so, yeah. lol Psijic and Pyandonean will go directly to the CM.
I got two Pyandonean motifs in the crates at the beginning of the month; and bought 4 more with the gems I got from useless crap that came in the crates.

Attached only in the sense that the Hollow City stuff is required for the MQ to progress. You're told to rescue as many FG/MG people etc. as possible, but only the Ayleid King and Vanus Galerion are needed. All those rescues are side-quests, from that point of view, or part of "The Army of Meridia" from another.

I think I did that on one character, just like I only did the Graveyard of Ships on one of them.
By the way, I'm becoming convinced that Darien Gautier survived the Final Assault and is an ancestor of Clark. After all, Clark is an Imperial on his mother's side.

He tried the non-CP campaign but really felt the difference. He couldn't keep up his regular pace in fights and got frustrated.

That is the exact same feeling I got when Misa was riding through Cyrodiil. It wasn't actually HER home, she was from Morrowind. But it was mine, I had lived in Cyrodiil for so many years through Maxical and Oblivion. I could feel it riding over the familiar areas and seeing the familiar names of places = absolutely loved it. Every time I go down there, I get hooked on the place all over again.
If you want to spend a lot of time down in Cyrodiil, it may pay you to make a log of all your skills/attributes/champion points/Mundus/armor/weapons = and once you have a solid log of his build on paper = spend the gold to reset everything for a PvP build. When you get a really good PvP build going on, log that whole build just like you did the first one. That way, for about 20,000 gold you can alternate back and forth between builds every time you are going to go down and spend time in Cyrodiil. It is worth it to do that if you want to spend a lot of time down there. (but don't want to lose your awesome PvE build).

My crew has been preparing to outfit Blossom in her CP160+ gear. However, we didn't have enough materials, and Medium Armour has the minor disadvantage that the nodes you need to harvest fight back. Since it was Blossom's responsibility to do the gathering, she found herself in the Catch-22 situation of needing better gear to gather the the leather for her better gear.
Fortunately for her, the others managed to get a few Clothier Surveys from their daily writs, and Blossom can handle a Furrier's Trap much more easily than a group of angry senche. So we'll be assembling her outfit real soon. She's a dual-axe stamplar, so we're looking at Hunding's Rage as the crafted set, with everything Divines and probably enchanted for max stamina, or maybe some regen. Is it worth having a piece of Heavy and a piece of Light until those skills max out?

Jun 27 2018, 04:45 PM
The reason to equip your stam girl in 5 med, 1 heavy and 1 light is to optimize the top level perk for the undaunted which gives you +2% to all three attributes for each type of armor you have equipped. Hence, the popular use of 5/1/1/ = +6% to all three attributes.
I'm assuming this is your objective. That said, I'd keep her in 5/1/1 from the start so you she can level up all three armor skills and eventually take all perks for medium and the perks for heavy/light that don't require equipping 5 pieces.
Though it takes time, undaunted can be pretty safely leveled up by doing daily undaunted delve quests. Pledges can speed that up (with lots more risk), so can grouping up and sharing undaunted delves.

Actually the bolded part was the immediate thought, as Undaunted is only just begun. With Unna, I'd maxed both Medium and Heavy and got all the passives, just by being undecided. Laurie started in Medium and switched to Heavy as she developed too much of a tank style playing solo, so she'd got a lot in both, too, and we had to grab a lot of skyshards to rebalance her skills from one to the other.
Blossom was medium/dual-wield from the beginning but has mainly done crafting so far, and is rather short of skill points. She has so many skills in the combat lines waiting for the points, because she's been spending them all in crafting. That makes risky pledges even more so, as she has some catching up to do.
The good news for her is that she's in the middle of the Bangkorai quests, and so will be well-placed for collecting some Spriggans' Thorns pieces.

I almost forgot to log in to my PS4 account and get the 5 Crown Crate daily reward! Jerric had the crew’s newest member Anuk-set-amun open them. I think that there really is something to the luck number theory. Two of the crates had a fifth card. She got the Psijic horse and one of those leveling scrolls that gives a bunch of gems, plus other stuff including two of the Psijic gauntlets. Too bad I only play on that account for a few minutes at night while I wait for the dog to fall asleep.
Someone who does writs in Mournhold every morning has the green gummy senche mount. It looks weirdly awesome. While I like seeing some of the odd getups in town, it’s always nice to get out into the countryside where the strangest thing you will see is a bot train.

Blossom now has her Hunding's, so we don't need it right now. She's looking for Sprigann's Thorns pieces for the rest, but the Dolmens have been dropping Vampire Lord instead. We'll do some delves for skyshards this weekend in Bangkorai, and see where that gets us. And we must remember to get/make new axes. Now you can morph weapons in the Outfit station, it doesn't matter what they really look like.
The skyshards will mostly go to completing her crafting skills. She's at Level 50 in some that she hasn't advanced the main passive to 10/10. She needs that for the writs. I'm also trying to get her to use a bow more, but she's an axe-murderer at heart.
Unna is miffed that the Fang Lair motif release was messed up. Now it will be even longer before she gets the chest chapter she wants for her outfit. Getting it the hard way will be tough, and the market won't stabilize until everyone's bought the Crown Store books.
Laurie will probably want to commission some nirnhoned staves, as she's running out of other traits in wood. We'll have to check our supply of Nirncrux, and maybe go prospecting in Craglorn.

I found an Imperial motif book in a backpack at the beginning of the Lost City of the Na-Totambu in the first big room. I found another in an urn on a shelf to your right as soon as you walk in the door of the house directly across from the Thieves Den entrance inside the city of Orsinium.
Lol, you really ought to play the Crate game more often with that kind of luck

Laurie did a bit more decorating for Cat Man Dhou at Sleek Creek, and it's starting to look like a home. So she went hunting for the detail bits, like the plans for inkwell, quill, and papers for the desk. I expected they'd be plentiful, given that TTC shows cheap prices, but I couldn't find any of them. I want the plans, as several of the homes are going to want those.

I've found the Imperial motif book three times, but can't remember which delve I was when I found the last one; it was in either a trial or vet dungeon; but I went to several in a row almost daily that month and can't remember which it was.
However, that said = I have the worst luck with crates imaginable! Monkey has the best crate luck, and I think you ride a close second,

Khajiit has had some good drops from the crates, to be sure. Our favorite has to be the Dwemer Wolf we got from the Dwemer season giveaway last year.

I have found at least ten Imperial motif books since I started playing, and usually it was from backpacks and drawers. The one I found a few days ago was from the wardrobe room in Traitor's Vault in Artaeum while farming for furnishing plans.
A long time ago I learned that it pops up when you least expect it (like the one time I found it in one of the Skyreach areas when I randomly decided to check a jar), so leave no stone unturned. :v
I hope I get the Dwemer mount from the free crates.

I want it, so I won't find it. That's why I'm actively looking for something else, to try and trick the RNG AI. I find more copper dust looking for heartwood, because the AI knows it's useless to me.
A trip to Dreloth Tomb normally gets a furnishing plan, a recipe, and maybe a 30% chance of a racial motif. I have eight characters, so spreading the motifs and recipes around takes care of most of the duplicates there. The plans go in the guild bank, as there doesn't seem to be any point in more than one crafter for furnishings.
Since there's a bias to Morrowind plans, I've been able to put Hlaalu stuff, instead of generic Dunmer, in the Penthouse for Minx, but she still wants a few specific items, so the AI is teasing her.

Now that the Squad's officially finished the Summerset questline, I wonder if it's time to get Fjotreid a new look. He's been wearing the same thing since Morrowind and since the current story arc is over it's a good a time as any. :v Considering he'll most likely be the protagonist of any new storylines as the original Squad takes a break, Murkmire excluded.
Also I guess I should start collecting Maormer motifs now that I have no other "obligations".

Oh wow, what a great log-in reward crate! I think I got a whole gem.
One tattoo I'll never use, one poison => gem, riding lesson, and mimic stone.
Ok, so the last two do have some use, or it would have been three gems. And I suppose if I ever get that exact tattoo again, it will be gems instead, like my repeat of "Nasal Rods" did. Three more chances at the end of the month!
In other news, Laurie broke her Master Writ log-jam when the research for the one she'd mistakenly opened for the nine-trait set completed. That let her finish that one, and three more waiting behind it. So now Blossom has a couple of crafting stations at Mournoth Keep, and is getting impatient for the third, (and a tent to shelter them).
Laurie also bought some plans for the small detail furnishings, like Quill and Inkwell, and the basic burlap sack. These are things she wants to use a lot of, as general clutter (and they don't need Heartwood!) Next on the list is bottles, but it seems the plans are all purple, and cost an arm and a leg.

Jerric has been working in Vvardenfell on a series of schemes to outwit some Telvanni House elves. It is going as well as might be expected. Jerric is not strong in the sneaking, scheming, or outwitting departments. So far he has accidentally killed three people, and he was the only one who got upset about it. These Telvanni are not his kind of folks. He is committed to the cause, though, so he will see it through. Thankfully the area is riddled with bandits and daedra, so there have been a lot of straight-up fights to help him relax between head-scratching sessions.

Jerric simply has . . . different talents. For example, his mastery of drinking mead, shirtless dancing and fishing is well known!

That was Fjotreid's general experience with the Telvanni, too, so at least Jerric's not alone. :U

So today I finished the Psijic Motif (by buying the last one even though I was offering much more valuable pieces in exchange lmfao) and once the Squad finishes leveling up their Jewelry crafting, they'll go back home and do their own thing for a while.
Hates will prepare for the trip back home.Eolan's taking a very long break to recover.Jo'zira will catch Fjotreid up on everything before (probably) passing the torch to him. ("...so he killed everyone in the room, and then himself.")
Gonna miss that Summerset house. Never did finish furnishing it, technically, but then I never finish furnishing houses, ever. It'll be great to return them to more convenient locations to do writs, though.

Aaaarggghh! They broke PTS!
In the patch notes it said that players with multiple GPU's would likely experience crashes. Yup, can't play on PTS any more, without disabling my three-monitor setup. This problem better not get to the live game, or I can't play any more.
And this just as I wanted to experiment with furnishings for Sleek Creek and Mournoth Keep, as well as trying out the new DLC content.

Well, Buffy had a chat with the Crown Crate Cat and was informed he had 9 (!) free crown crates for her. Three were one kind and the remaining 6 were Psijic ones. We know where the free 6 came from but not quite sure on the other 3. Oh well, she didn't complain. The net results:
Her coffer of crate gems went from 134 to 210 so that is good. The only keeper/item of interest she got was a pointy wizard hat with a feather in it. A very neat hat, actually. . . except it clips unacceptably with Buffy's big ears so wearing it is a no-go.

Those must have been from the daily rewards for June! Awesome!
Okay, I was online all morning and forgot to open my crates! I did see they were in there, just forgot, lol.

Khajiit got six crates (3 psiijic and 3 of the other kind that Khajiit isn’t going to try to remember how to spell). Nothing special of note but we got 50 gems so we bought Mira a Fish Elf Headgear and Shoulders chapter.
