Today Lleduri, who is supposed to only do Enchanting and Alchemy and otherwise just sit in the bank, appropriated a third of the housing fund and purchased the Midnight Steed for herself. She has been using the Piebald Destrier which is Lildereth’s mount. This should not matter. Lildereth isn’t even on the PC. Lleduri apparently is very not good at sharing.
hazmick
Something similar happened with my group today too. Haa-Rei, out of nowhere, took 50k out of the bank to buy some furniture and furniture plans from a guild store.

We were supposed to be saving up for a house for Tsarakiri, but hey at least Haa-Rei now has an inkwell and a teapot, I guess.
monkeyemoness
Make that a third? The crafting monkey (look, I find it difficult to call him by his name okay?) spent most of his money last night on furniture plans. I found some pretty good deals too. A bunch of blues for only 5k each, not to mention the ones I found through loot because RNG loves me.

Also, what's the point of the 4-poster Breton beds? ??? Whatever, I got both that and the regular full Breton bed. As if to encourage me, someone bought another of my Draugr motifs, meaning he got more gold to spend without having to go to the bank and dip into the motif fund.

Still haven't found the right plans to finish furnishing the interior of Strident Springs Demense but I can say with complete confidence that Eolan and Jo'zira's bedrooms are perfect now and I might start furnishing Sleek Creek Manor with some of the Khajiit plans I've found.

Taking some time to review my purchases and subsequent crafting, would a household that already has a waterfall on the grounds need a well? Does anyone need a well? Or enormous Argonian curtains? I tend to underestimate the size of some things

I also spent 90 crowns on an Argonian bed because I couldn't find the plan anywhere. On that note why is the Argonian mat Epic-level and more expensive There are a lot of things that are Epic-level decorations that have absolutely no business being Epic-level. Like pot lids.

@Acadian - That's what happens when Imperials try to appropriate Breton culture. Or was it just Mazoga? I can't remember but I guess it makes sense if she's the one who made the mistake. Or maybe she knows what she's doing and prefers Sir over Dame? Where was I going with this?
Acadian
How about a fourth big spender? Bought the summoned banker a couple days ago (from my 6 mo ESO+ renew crowns). He's pretty useful.

Heh, I figure Sir Mazoga knew exactly what she wanted to be called. And Dame Buffy was wise enough not to argue with a fellow knight who is over three times her size. tongue.gif

Er ... big spender? Uh ... what is that? evillol.gif

Jerric had a very Jerric experience last night. While he was wrapping things up with some Pact officers that he had helped, he somehow managed to swipe a drink off the table next to the guy he was trying to speak with. Despite his recent heroic efforts, everyone got mad. Jerric chose to rapidly exit the building rather than fight to the death over an accidentally stolen drink.

Outside he discovered that the fort he just liberated from the Covenant was now full of friendly Pact troops, who might also be mad over his “theft.” He decided to wait out the heat at Misa Manor.

The sands of Stros M’Kai glowed under two nearly full moons. Jerric had a quick look at the now complete (yay!) crafting stations, checked out the snack situation, and investigated upstairs to see if anyone was around needing help in, say, one of the beds. Nope. He was alone.

So then being Jerric he went out on a balcony and started climbing around. Buffy Tower has a ledge over the door. He decided he could make the jump.

It’s possible that he can make the jump, but the first try resulted in a large thump and a manly sound of surprise on impact. In what he describes as a masculine and athletic manner, he rolled head over heels through the open door into Buffy Tower and stood up.

There inside stood Misa herself. I suspect that she was involved in a decorating screen and couldn’t see or hear him, because (thank Stendarr) she did not seem to notice. Once I stopped laughing, Jerric removed himself back to the fort and finished his business with the Pact. It didn’t occur to him until later to enjoy his ill-gotten drink.

Here’s a screenie from the adventure: Sure, I can make it!
Acadian
Yup, that's our Jerric being Jerric! biggrin.gif

OMG, you had me rolling reading this!!!! Oh, this is SO Jerric as I remember him from the Pre-Oblivion Crisis days!!!! I never did see Jerric there, and I'm sure I was either in a decorating screen or had stepped away from the keyboard for a while. That is so funny !!!!

@Grits - I'm glad to know that even in TESO Jerric manages to be Jerric. That had me in stitches!

So I started off TESO a month or two back in the Ebonheart Pact, because I am nothing but biased (Dunmer forever!) Somehow, it didn't manage to hold my interest... and then this happened.

Jo'tasrin does not understand where all these strange ideas come from. Coldharbour, escape from Molag Bal, emperors and evil necromancers, spy rings and Queen's agents... pah! And this nonsense about Jo'tasrin lacking her soul - does she look soulless to you? Her fine fur, her bright eyes sparkling with life, her sleek tail, do these look like they belong to a mere shell? Jo'tasrin will forgive you this insult, but only once!

No, no. Jo'tasrin thinks you have had too much moon-sugar, yes? You babble strange things, and then you will go sleep it off and in the morning you will be very embarrassed you believed a simple Khajiit would be part of some nonsense about Daedra and heroes. We all do it once. Jo'tasrin herself did, when she was a kit, although she must tell you that buying her a simple drink is not nearly payment enough for that story.

So what is it Jo'tasrin does, you ask? Well, she travels Auridon! There are many beautiful spots to fish or gather herbs or hunt mudcrabs or imps (yes, yes, Jo'tasrin can defend herself, that does not mean she is fighting Molag Bal!) Just the other day she found a lovely island, just south of Mathiisen, much salvage on the beaches and wild jute and flax in the interior. And for more money, there is always something to find in Mathiisen itself! It is a true wonder what treasures people leave simply lying around. Abandoned! Uncared for! It breaks Jo'tasrin's heart, it does. She thinks she is being generous, selfless even, when she takes such things somewhere where they will be truly appreciated.

Yes, it is true Jo'tasrin sometimes helps out her good friend Razum-dar. What of it? On Auridon, simple Khajiit like them must stick together as it is not an easy place from them to be. Especially with the Veiled Heritance all over the island like rats on a moon-sugar plantation, and when Jo'tasrin hears worrying, worrying things about the Thalmor and the College...

Not that Jo'tasrin would know any detail about any of this. She hears things in the taverns sometimes, that is all. She is just a simple Khajiit, remember?

Jo'tasrin is sure the sugar-dreams will go away soon.

*****

...yyeeeaah.

Fun facts: I am usually the most absurdly law-abiding TES player ever. I don't steal anything! I fail at stealth! My Dunmer mage was the same... and then I rolled a Khajiit.

First ten minutes of the game, I manage to get a bounty. Somehow. Honestly, I still don't know what I actually did? I was just wandering around the temple one minute and had guards yelling at me the other. So off I run until I'm well out of sight...

...and then I found a Thieves' Trove, and I could almost feel Jo'tasrin's eyes lighting up with drake signs. Why should this one slave over staves and robes which sell for a pittance when there are such goods free for the taking?

Well. Okay. At this point I was still determined to try to keep to my usual lawful playstyle... but then, when I was trying to sell stuff to a merchant, my hand slipped and I accidentally stole something from the table next to him.

While running away from the guards, I realised that trying to keep this character non-criminal was doomed to failure and Jo'tasrin has been rolling in her ill-gotten gains since. (Although I haven't tried pick-pocketing yet and generally only steal stuff when no one is around. Baby steps?)

Today in Tamriel: AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

So I got my new crafter up to Provisioning and Alchemy mastery, with Enchanting on its way. I was reminded that it's far easier to grind Enchanting than Equipment Crafts when you already have a master crafter or two and plenty of materials.

Also, even though it's less painful to level a completely new character as a crafter since One Tamriel dropped, it's still pretty terrible. You're no longer restricted to your Alliance's skyshards and you no longer have to be v1 to access Craglorn and the top level writs, but you're still rewarded according to your level. (you get crap pay compared to max level crafters and you always get Ornate/Intricate junk at your character level instead of the crafting level as rewards, also meaning less gold and Inspiration/lesser materials)

Don't get me started on "you are not skilled enough to extract all materials." Goodbye tempers and Ruby mats. You died for a good cause.

Anyways, the Squad's doing well. Hates FINALLy got a big boy writ (well, bigger than what she usually gets) and Eolan's getting writs again (okay, technically, it was Jo'zira that got that 74-voucher smithing Writ). He's only like 3 vouchers short of an attuneable crafting station. I've decided to throw all the smaller ones at the master crafter to slowly build up his supply, too. This only counts for Hates and Jo'zira, since they rarely get any for their main crafts. Still gotta work this out. I still need an extra set of Consumable crafting stations. idk

@Grits - I love getting second-hand accounts of Jerric's exploits, 'specially since the Squad rarely gets to interact with anyone since they're always busy.

@Kazaera - Welcome to the club! Glad to have another Jo' around.

OOH, an Attunable Station!!! Which one will you get first?

Well, the quickest way to build those crafting skills up is when you have a festival where the potions you drink give you accelerated XP. I got all 5 of my mules to Master Level in almost everything during the Witches Festival; just doing their regular Writs and one at a time having them deconstruct everything that came in from Glyphs to armor and weapons (or make food/potions,etc) till they reached 50; then started on the next. By the time the festival ended they were almost all at the top.

Same with the New Life; a trip to Windhelm and slug down that potion before doing their Writs.

So when does the Jester's Festival start? laugh.gif

I didn't know the event EXP boost affected Inspiration gains, too. Ah well, I'm not waiting for that. :V

Today Haa-Rei got his first master writ - woohoo!

Unfortunately it's for a shield in glass style, which he doesn't have knowledge of - boohoo.

Still, he's pleased that his crafting is starting to pay off.

Congrats !!!!!

Wow, that took a while! I finally got my first one after about three days of doing Writs. What a great feeling it was to get one!

If you don't "Accept the Quest" when you first receive them, you can read them over in your inventory and decide if you can do them or not. If you can't, then they are selling for great prices on the Guild Store shelves!

(Also = not accepting the quest immediately also allows you to pass the Master Writ to another of your characters who does have the knowledge)
mALX

The Alchemy and Enchanting Master Writs are easy, but the equipment Master Writs - there have been a lot that I can't do, or have to sock into the bank to wait till I've researched Nirnhoned for that particular item = even after having to buy the Motif for that Master Writ and learning it. If the Motif was too expensive to learn, I've just been donating them to one of the Trade Guilds that I'm a member of, but a lot of people are selling them for a good income. (I've been buying them to get the Crafting Stations for Hunding House, I'd say they are doing well selling them just from the number of them that I've bought, lol.

monkeyemoness
I guess that's the benefit of knocking out all traits a while back. Honestly, it stresses me out trying to sell those things so I just save them until I can do them. And since none of them ask for any of the four new motifs, I have no excuse not to do them. :T

Did some gathering in Craglorn early today. Still no Ra Gada motifs, and not nearly as much Bast as I wanted. At least I found 3 Fortified Nirncrux? I think I might start farming group delves but I'll most likely end up buying them once the 4-week time period has passed.

Also, I realized that Eolan is the only one that doesn't have the Master Gatherer achievement. Lazy. But I guess while the others gathered he was doing dungeons. He's at about 6.7k gathered nodes right now. Ugh.

In the whole time I've been gathering Nirncrux, all but one of them has been the Fortified (armor) ones. Once and one only time I got the Potent Nirncrux (for making weapons). I'm going to need another one for one of these Master Writs; and have been farming like mad for it in my spare time. So far no luck.

In having my bank mules toiling away at doing Writs in hopes of getting more Master Writs, I have run out of base level mats for them to work with. Of course, the new system pays you with a bunch of junk mats none of my characters can use, and when they do get surveys the mules can't go out collecting them since they are now in all kinds of "random" locations.

So today I took my youngest bank mule out on a mats run for some basic Iron and Jute. She is a little baby Dragon Knight whose only levels came from doing Writs; not combat or questing. It is probably her first time leaving Davon's Watch at all, but what a blast I had with her! She had some really unique spells, was tough as nails! I enjoyed the heck out of that mats run with her!

Cirinwe cleared Shadowfen today, but she's still not level 50. Wrothgar next, I think.

Haa-Rei continues to work on his crafting, but he's reached the point with home decoration where we've run out of stuff to craft. I think I feel a plan shopping spree coming on.

I've found most of mine in stolen loot, but none of them were the particular ones I was looking for; lol. Most of those I really wanted (I had to buy); and some I never ended up getting because they were too expensive.

On his way to make more glyphs for the mule's Enchanting grind, Jo'zira visited Misa's Port Hunding house and was floored by how pretty everything was. He gave the place a good look around and found that there isn't much to add to the place D:

He did make use of the facilities, though.

So Craglorn's done on all characters now (again), but I realized too late that The Shattered and the Lost/The Corrupted Stone quests might not be necessary to get The Missing Guardian started. At least, the quest started for me before I turned those two in. Either it's a bug or Craglorn truly is Solo friendly now.

Bonus: Chicken Legs

No room to add anything to the place! It only allows 600 items, and has 599 items in it already. The last thing has to be the Dye Station, lol.

I love seeing the screenshots of people using it! Thank you so much for your kind words about the house, that means a lot to hear!

OMG, that is Chicken Legs Titus? I thought that was the quest giver and was wondering why he was nude, lol. You know...he doesn't look out of balance in that shot! Maybe he just shouldn't wear that shirt anymore, because his body looks fine when you strip him down, lol.

Welp. That honestly puts my own non-ESO+ limitations into perspective. I'm nearing 250/300 and I'm still not done :V I guess I can do a little gardening to get rid of the extra plants.

But yes! The courtyard alone is so neat and the facilities are accessible. The extra rooms and such really make the place feel like a nice guild hangout.

As for Titus' proportions, it's more that when you look at them in a certain angle you can see the character creator's imperfections. From the front and from 3/4ths view it's fine, but directly from the side you can see how weird it gets, mostly because the morphs don't affect the back so it looks like the ribcage is pushed forward. Eolan's morphs are a little more extreme, so it's more obvious (No screenshots rn, though. He's shy)

Anyways, yeah. First thing you learn about Titus is that he apparently arrived Terminator style into the Era and killed everything in the arena that way. Before the overhaul, the guards that captured him had the decency to give him a pair of pants. Post-Dragonbreak he's completely naked. I guess they thought a generic pair of briefs was enough? :U

Bonus, since redoing the questline reminded me of the Squad's adventures there:
The Squad (minus one) meet the Naked Warrior. If it weren't for his success in the arena, Eolan would have something to say about those chicken legs.

==

That aside, the Mule crafter got to Master Enchanter after a final push of...14 glyphs? The last tiny sliver of EXP was completed by him discovering the effect of another rune. Now he's got a chance at Consumable Master Writs! Still have a ways to go with equipment. Also, I learned that the quality drop is the same as finding material nodes. The Intricate/Ornate weapon/armor you get is randomized. Today I got Yew and Ebonthread with one Iron. Gross. The pay's still crap.

Turns out the ribcage looks like it's pushed forward because they're actually thrusting their chests forward in the default idle. :V Doesn't change the fact that it's a weird feature of the character creator, but now I know why.

Eolan agreed to model for me to illustrate what I mean.

Default:Front, Side
/idle3 for a more relaxed pose: Front, Side

Still kind of odd, but better. Case closed on this weird, nit-picky derail?

For content, I'm glad that I have a backup mule because all of these furniture recipes are taking up too much space and I haven't sold a thing in a while. The mule still has 40 spaces left. Hopefully I don't use them all up.

Tasrin-jo is worried about you. The sugar-dreams should be gone now, you should be lying in bed holding your head. This one's skull feels like it is being drummed upon by clannfear! you should be moaning, or swearing by the moons that you will never eat anything again, not...

No, this one is called Tasrin-jo. Perhaps, once upon a time, a kit might have been called Tasrin-ma, and later a young Khajiit Tasrin-la, but Tasrin-jo is not interested in a distant, forgotten past. And so she has always been called Tasrin-jo. She hopes you understand. Although she hears some of the youngsters from Pa'alatiin have started putting their honorifics in front of their names, she thinks this is nonsense, kittens puffing themselves up to pretend they are Senche-tigers. Certainly not something Tasrin-jo herself would do!

...yes, Tasrin-jo's hair has always looked like this.

Auridon? Tasrin-jo has never been to Auridon, she does not know why you claim she has. It is in the Summerset Isles, she hears, pretty perhaps but very far from Elsweyr, from Khenarthi's Roost, yes?

Is her companion sure they have not hit their head?

Yes, finally you undersand, Tasrin-jo is in Khenarthi's Roost! She washed up there after the hurricane - a terrible storm, many shipwrecks, a whole fleet destroyed. It is no surprise if a small ship like Tasrin-jo's has still not been found, that she was the only survivor, yes? After all, she was not on the Dominion ships, and she must have come from somewhere. It is not as if she fell from the sky.

So Tasrin-jo travels Khenarthi's Roost, and she keeps busy! There is much going on, many people in need of help, many threats a skilled mage like Tasrin-jo can ward off. She is a giving, generous soul, you understand, a kind heart, she cannot bear to stand aside when someone beseeches her for aid. So desperate, so wrapped up in their tragedies these poor people are, they even sometimes forget to reward her!

No, it is truth! But Tasrin-jo is understanding. She would not dream of adding to their burden by going to them and asking for such, oh no. She is quite happy to take care of it herself, no fuss, no need to bother people who already have far too much to worry about. Yes, I see you understand, this is how kind, how generous Tasrin-jo is.

As a matter of fact, yes, Tasrin-jo might leave Khenarthi's Roost soon. It is a beautiful place, truly, and she will certainly return. But the guards are beginning to look at her with suspicion - as if Tasrin-jo would ever do something to deserve such! The world is such an unjust place sometimes, is it not? And yet it is also true that Tasrin-jo finds herself in the need of some... specialist suppliers. There are many traders at Khenarthi's Roost, it is true, but not quite one of the kind Tasrin-jo is looking for. And her pack is starting to get very heavy indeed.

Perhaps she shall seek out Auridon after all - your talk of it has made her curious. But she has still never been there before, do you understand?

She is truly happy you have stopped speaking like Sheogorath.

*****

So here's Jo'tasrin II, with some minor cosmetic changes, hopefully soon done with the starting zone and back off to Auridon again.

...why is there no fence in Khenarthi's Roost. I'm surprised Tasrin-jo doesn't clink when she walks.
Acadian
Welcome to Tasrin-jo! That is quite the impressively purrrrloined inventory she's packing!

Dunno anything about fences but some of the more advanced services like stables and banks do tend to be absent from the first intro areas.

I bet Tasrin-jo will love Auridon!

So I started another mule up on crafting. :V

This time, however, he's only so I can experience the joy of playing a crafter from the beginning again. He's my "general" mule and had like 40 open spaces, and was almost deleted since most of his inventory was cleared out by selling that set gear. Gonna take this one nice and slow.

It's a good thing I gave him a "real" name, because I like playing him as a character. (Even if it is the name of a planned TES VI character)

My other mule, the motif/provisioning recipe backup collector, is at 30 in Equipment skills. He got an Enchanting Master Writ this morning! Only 2 vouchers, but it's something.

On the subject of crafting, I just remembered that the other day, after about 3 months of doing the second-highest Provisioner Writs on Jo'zira and Hates-White-Rats, I FINALLY found the last purple recipe the Crafting Monkey needed. In a wardrobe. I was beginning to think I needed to take Hates to Wayrest and farm for the recipe (Slow Simmered Rabbit Goulash, apparently the rarest of purple recipes because no one sells it) and there it was! In Coldharbour! While Jo was looking for furniture plans. I hope that means his chances at Provisioning Writs will be higher now. Apparently Orzorga's Bear Haunch recipe is the highest-yielding one, though (10?), so it's probably not that big a deal.

==

I have been considering taking my mules on a couple skyshard runs and sinking skill points into their crafting so they can start getting some credit for those level 50 crafting skills. They have all had whatever motifs they were capable of learning; and the one who has had skill points sunk into her Woodworking has consistently pulled in Woodworking Master Writs.

I absolutely LOVE your artwork on your characters! You have an amazing talent to be able to capture them, even their personalities come through in your artwork! goodjob.gif

Why have man-boobs if you aren't going to bow your chest out to show them off? Lol. He looks fine to me in these screens, lol.

OMG, why aren't you reading your recipes? If you have any for sale, there are still some Redguard/High Elf/Dark Elf ones that I am trying to get and will gladly buy.

Also, along those lines = if anyone wants a certain piece of furniture crafted for them; if I do have the "recipe" for it I'll gladly do it for just the mats required; nothing more. Unfortunately; I seem to have amassed a whole bunch of the "recipes" for junk items, but nothing I really need or want, laugh.gif

Cirinwe reached level 50 today (at last!) so I was able to get her set up with a full set of CP160 gear. The gear's been sitting in my bank for weeks, so it's nice to have the space back. Now she can properly kick back and relax for a while to focus on her blacksmithing skills.

With Cirinwe done, and Haa-Rei focusing on crafting, I'm going to head back out with Tsarakiri and continue her questing with the Dark Brotherhood. I also moved Lagakha from Stros M'kai to Orsinium, where she'll remain as a bank mule for the time being.

Congrats to Ciri on CP160! Whew, so nice not to deal with gear that gets obsolete every few days of play.

So Tasrin-jo has had a pretty prosperous time of it recently. Spurred by the guild party, she went exploring Stros M'Kai, then decided cross-alliance exploration was great, grabbed the wayshrine in Daggerfall for later use and then went to Stonefalls at my urging. (Finding two copies of the Nord crafting motif along the way!) She's not feeling super-comfortable in Stonefalls, though - in Stros M'Kai, nobody really cared about alliances anyway, but in Stonefalls she's feeling her identity as a spy for the Dominion a simple Khajiit who has nothing to do with queens and politics but nevertheless thinks the Dominion has been good for her people. Add the slavery issue and... yeah. It does mean she feels even less guilt at stealing everything that isn't nailed down than normal, which is actually rather impressive as I didn't think that was possible.

She was however rather indignant when she woke up one day to find her rawhide stores had been depleted. I tried to get her to have some sympathy for a poor lost soul who'd washed up in Bleakrock Isle with nothing but the clothes on their back, deeply confused at suddenly being in the Second Era, who could really do with some proper armour to get them started... no luck. I'll have to work on it.

Tasrin-jo's time at the guild party along with the mounting pile of her ill-gotten gains has made her start thinking about settling down herself. I've been trying to push her towards the house in Kragenmoor, since I really want to explore TESO Morrowind for lore-researching purposes, but as mentioned she's pretty eh on Stonefalls so far and she's in love with Khenarthi's Roost and the little house there. We'll see how it goes - she still needs to save up some before she can afford either place, never to mention furniture.

Can't say I blame her on her choice of houses, that one in Khenarthi's Roost is adorable (and quite large) and has such nice neighbors and view just outside the door!

Oh, I love the sense of justice for eras of slavery to "Carry the burdons" (of wealth) away from those who held her people oppressed so long, laugh.gif Oh yes, just knew I was going to like "this one!" rollinglaugh.gif

@mALX - Thanks! I've had a while with each one to toy around with their personalities and expressions. One thing I'm going to miss about the pre-Craglorn squad is Eolan emoting entirely through exaggerated eye expressions and body movements (accompanied by the clanking of armor). At least, when he does emote. He's like a metal statue most of the time, tbh.

As far as the plans go, I got so many at once that all 4 crafters learned what they needed and my guild store slots filled up faster than I could sell them. Once I dropped the price a little they finally started going, at least.

I can't say I really enjoy Skyshard hunting with crafters. Too much mashing/holding of the mouse button.

@hazmick - Congrats on Cirinwe finally hitting 160! A big load off in more ways than one, I'm sure.

@kazaera - Tsarin-jo's exploits illustrate One Tamriel's benefits to the game as a whole. Sure, there are sill some issues with the implementation (one that plagues even the single-player games) but I rather have it than not, you know? Good thing she put years of oppression to good use. Even with the Pact, Hates made sure to use that as justification for taking everything in sight. She found the Squad's very first Imperial Motif book in the plantation.

Okay; first off - I popped into your place this morning to check out the boat, and I am absolutely loving what you have done with it = both inside and out! You most def have a flair for decorating! Those pavilions outside are inspired!

Oh, and I have been searching all over for those Argonian Shelves for Hazmick! Can you make those? If so, I would gladly send you the mats if Hazmick wants a set of those, they look awesome !!!

On top of that = that boat! Holy Cow, that is the first time I've wanted to be a Master Angler; I've got to get that boat !!!!! AWESOME !!!!!!

monkeyemoness
The boat was the result of a lot of free time, the implementation of Perfect Roe, and many, many tears. Would have been more tears had I attempted the achievement after trophies became character-bound. The only reason I completed Cyrodiil and especially Coldharbour was because of exploiting the fact that a single fish could count for two characters. If only I did the same for monster trophies.

Anyways, I still don't really know what to do with the space? I'm holding out on more Khajiit sofas, rugs and cushions before I really start furnishing it (especially since I still have to deal with attuneable crafting stations) At the very least my stock of furniture materials is going up.

Speaking of, do you mean the little rope shelves or the woven book shelf in the Alchemy/Enchanting room? Because I can craft all 3. (Short and full shelf, and the woven book shelf)

I meant the woven book shelf. I have been looking for one of those for Hazmick if he wants it.

By the way, Hazmick = I peeked at your adorable mud home this morning too; Awesome job, especially the garden!

Well, if you ever want anything just ask. I can make a few things now and use up all the Crafting Monkey's gold for more plans (though I'm starting to question why I'm paying 10k for blue plans anymore when I can apparently get them for half of that depending on who you get it from).

Fun fact! Ruben, the new crafter, actually had most of his inventory taken up by spare fish so that I could use them on an alt. When the patch dropped he had to sell them all because they were useless.

Related to that, I'm really having fun with Ruben. I'm not planning to force him to get into quests or other combat-related things he's clearly not suited for (like I did with the early Crafting Monkey and I'm currently doing with the other crafter-mule for Skyshards) so instead he's a cowardly, low combat character.

It's pretty refreshing tbh. He's still sort of adventurous, which sort of comes with the territory of an ESO crafter. He's recently gained the confidence to take on Imps and the occasional lone bandit, a step up from the usual wolves and mudcrabs he hunted for leather scraps and reagents.

The problem is Jo'zira's taken to mothering him since he signed on as their apprentice, and he insists on collecting consumable surveys on his own. His first survey collection took him to the spell scar and he nearly aggroed a group of spellfiends that could have easily ripped him to pieces. He made it back safely, though! He wouldn't resort to it if they'd just give him a few more supplies to work with. Oh, right, he owes them over 100k for bag space upgrades.

I also can't decide whether he's a mortal or one of Jo's horrifying experiments yet.

Jo's tendency to get attached to mortals is a thing he doesn't seem to be able to shake off.

Related to that, Ruben accidentally took a pile of gold coins in the bank today and discovered he has an admirer.

He's still not sure how to feel about being someone's "luscious tuber". If only you could actually follow through and date the guard...

Yeah. Only Hates has the privilege of telling the guards to go screw themselves, though.

I also forgot to note that yesterday (?) I tried farming Group Delve bosses for Ra Gada motifs but all I got was Ancient Sandstone to drop. I think the drop rate might be the same as Abah's Watch, which, incidentally, I got three of so far. I didn't think I'd be farming those again but here we are. I can't wait for the next festival so I can see which motifs I'll need to farm afterwards.

Also I hate the TG event because I made quite a bit of gold from selling Thieves Guild motifs and now they're depreciating in price again.

@monkeyemoness & mALX - Congratulations!! Both of those are awesome achievements. smile.gif

Tasrin-jo is currently a little bit... stuck. After some more exploring/generalised questing/picking up the garret room in Vulkhel Guard as a quest reward (and immediately discovering it's tiny - the Altmer bed she bought at wince-worthy prices barely even fits in there, wow!), she opted to try the first Thieves' Guild quest. Which is why she is currently inside a basket in Fulsom Manor and has been there for a few days now.

I might have to abandon the quest entirely because it doesn't mesh well with my twitchy nature, bad reflexes, and godawfully terrible sense of direction in FPS games. However, the one problem I can do something about is the graphics issue; I'm generally on my laptop which I suspect doesn't technically have the specs to run ESO, and it means various objects and especially NPCs can take a long time to actually show up. This isn't usually such a big deal, but being spotted and then attacked by a completely invisible citizen felt like a bit much. So I'm giving it another shot this weekend when I have access to my desktop and everything should display as it should.

While Tasrin-jo considers her life and her choices in a basket that smells strongly of fish, a second character has managed to get off Bleakrock Isle and is now exploring Stonefalls and Deshaan. Ervesa Romandas is pretty deeply confused as to why she's suddenly in the Third Era and rather upset that her status of Buoyant Armiger which she worked so hard for is dust, but her natural optimism and helpful nature are preventing her from brooding. It helped that she ran into a quest which involved praying to the Tribunal in Ebonheart; on-screen you're just praying on behalf of someone else, but I like to think she managed to exchange some words with the servant of Vivec in particular which eased her mind. Her current aim is to get an inn room somewhere that isn't enemy territory to rest her head. Once that's achieved...

Let's say that I've been struggling with how to divvy up crafting duties, and there's an obvious character who'd strongly prefer sitting at home brewing potions and enchanting items to going out killing things who I'm thinking of plonking into ESO as primary crafter. However, that character definitely won't take the quest route off Bleakrock Isle, so I want a fast-travel room for her in Pact territory before I send her out into the world.

That is one of the things I absolutely LOVE about the Ebonheart Pact = working with and for the Tribunal; Almalexia, Vivec, and Sotha Sil = Loved it!

Sorry about that Thieves Guild quest, that sounds awful! I remember that quest, almost impossible to do without being spotted (without drinking some invisibility potion). There might be a way in the "Control Panel" to adjust settings around and give your game more dedicated memory; but you may be right that it is not powerful enough for the game.

On the tiny room in Vulkhel Guard though = that I can help with! Here is a shot of what I did with it, it looks gorgeous in there and is plenty roomy if set up similar to this:
