Khajiit’s crew got 2 things of interest: a Mages Guild Sentry Cat non-com pet (which Brenna claimed right away and gave it a home in her brand new apartment in Sentinel, *sigh* Brenna is so spoiled), and a Mages Guild Leggings costume that someone might wear. At some point. Perhaps Sorai will wear it when she is pretending to care about the Mages Guild And needs to not look as... barbaric. Other than that, rubbish.

Kind of jealous that I missed out on all the cool things, but I'm glad everyone got some nice ones.

So I'm back and today I try to get acclimated to the game again, as I come back to several expired guild store mails, several research pieces finished, and RIGHT on the next set of writs after the day that I died.

Jerric got a Centurion uniform and is told that he looks damned handsome in it (the helm covers his nose ), the Mages Guild formal robes that Darnand will wear, and the fiery sphere that I’m sure one of them will use to annoy another. Everything else was consumable and converted to gems. Fun to get and open the crates as a gift, but since I don’t have piles of money lying around collecting dust, I won’t be buying any.

WOO HOO! I ended up with four mystery boxes today! Two of them just contained some special dye colors; but the other two had decent gifts! One was a "Treasure Hunter" costume; the other was a monster trophy that you sell to the vendors for 1000. Gold is always welcome,

That treasure hunter outfit is cool looking! This one could see a medieval Indiana Jones type wearing something like that!

Khajiit got his controller situation sorted out so he had Brenna finish up the A’likr questline. It was fun!

Spent all my Crowns on Storm Atronach Crates and I STILL didn't get the hairs I missed out on. I got some okay things, but since I didn't' get the two things I wanted and i generally don't use things I don't want...well yeah. Worst part is that even if you could buy the stuff with gems, I probably wouldn't have enough for a single one anyways.

I guess I can finally better pretend Jo'zira is his mount and the mounted figure is but a decoy, since his assigned mount is now a Clouded Leopard Senche. Also I did get some Stamina training books for mounts that Fjotreid actually needs. Silver lining, I guess.

Yeah, tbh. I think the Storm Atronach ones are the only ones I really cared about because of those hairs. Ah well, maybe some day they'll be on the actual Crown Store.

Anyways, I've been doing a lot of thinking about my time in ESO and how a certain...thing that might happen soon has been on my mind for a long time, mostly because of a certain plot development as well as a certain...decline in how ESO is written now and how it doesn't seem like being the Vestige matters at all in any recent content (though I guess you do get some extra dialogue if you've done the main quest).

With that, and the fact that the Clockwork City has been out for a while now, here's my ranking of added story content, from best to worst:

Morrowind
The Gold Coast (who the hell wrote this? The only redeeming quality is the appearance of AD characters for once, and the land)

tbh there's something of a gap between Morrowind and the Gold Coast. Imperial City and Dungeon DLCs excluded because I barely touched the first and I'm not interested in the others. So I have no opinion.

I'm thinking maybe I should start a new character to run vanilla content with. A restart of the Squad, maybe? Memories of past adventures?

To be honest, Khajiit is still a little confused about the whole Vestige thing.

And yeah, with Vvardenfell it's even more unclear as to exactly what that accomplishment means for the PC. I guess it's so it's left to the player's imagination.

And then there’s the very name Morrowind. The DLC should have been named Vvardenfell, but they had to piggyback on the nostalgic popularity of TES3.

At least it's not Legends and its Clockwork City expansion. :U (Then again I'm pretty sure it's "Return to the Clockwork City"?) Still, 2 expansions to different games with similar titles released close to each other is...weird, to say the least.

Anyways, got a complete Bloodforge motif and I plan on getting the other eventually so I can have 100% master writ droprate for at least a few months. Specially since only the Crafting Monkey does high-level writs anymore. They haven't said anything about what's coming Q1 of next year, but if it's anything like previous updates it'll most likely come with at least 3 new motifs. (Homestead came with like 6 iirc?)

But here is the big news: I got the Imperial War Horse Mount in a mystery box last night! I set the horse out at the Guild Hall for anyone who wants to see it! Haven't named the horse yet; but it is gorgeous! Any name suggestions may or may not be considered (depending on their appeal),

It looks kind of like this; but MUCH better when you see it in person (and in better graphics). A friend told me that they were very rare drops!

If I am not mistaken, the Alliance War colors of the horse's gear change to whatever Alliance the character riding it is. (not sure, have to test that out).

Earlier today Brenna made a lot of progress in the Bangkorai questline for the Daggerfall Covenant. It has been so much fun!

We did pop over to the guild hall this evening to admire mALX's new Imperial horse - very impressive/attractive indeed! My gut tells me the horse's colors won't change based on alliance since Imperials are not part of any of the three alliances.

Nice to see Brenna enjoying her time in Bangkorai working for the Covenant.

This one loves the look of Bloodforge (guess Khajiit is just a sucker for antlers :lol ). Mira has three pieces of heavy armor based on the “Dreadhorn” motif (Ironblood cuirass, shield, and sash), and Khajiit likes it well enough. Definitely not as attractive as the Bloodforge though.

Decided to spend another ~400k gold to go and get the Dreadhorn motif, meaning that for the first time I have 100% Master Writ drop chance. It probably isn't that big of an increase and most of the ones I've gotten are kind of crap but eh. Less to worry about until the next big update. (I also had to print out a new motif checklist just for that one motif)

Last night I finally completed the Maw of Lorkhaj Trial !!!! (normal mode) But still = WOO HOO !!!! The trophy is in the Guild Hall (Downstairs Right Entry Corridor).

Well, SneakyBo usually never takes anyone except the Elite of the Elite on their Trials (as a rule). In fact = in all the time I've been there this is only the third time I've been asked to fill in when someone good has jumped ship on them (and they only asked after they exhausted all efforts to find someone better first, lol).

So yeah; it was way over my head.

Well how do they expect people to get better if they don’t invite people along? Developing new elite players should be a priority for other top players in a serious guild (case in point, they had to ask you because all of the other “elite players” told them to shove off). Khajiit just hates this elitist thought process, because the game is supposed to be open to everyone but if players are excluding other players simply because the don’t deem them “good enough”, well then that is a huge steamy pile of poo.
