Ooo, Bubba has the same hair as Lleduri! That's what happens to Darnand's hair, it flops into his face. Only unlike Bubba's artful spikes, Darnand's obscures his aiming.

It's "Management Material". Or, Eolan's old hair. Currently it'd look more like Bubba's if he didn't have it in a ponytail mullet. Not sure if he'll trim it or re-do it when he's back in action.

I was thinking about doing some Jewelry Writs today, but going off the absolute lowest price the Platings are going for these days, it would have to reward minimum 122 vouchers for an Epic piece of Jewelry in order for it to actually pay off.

In other words it ain't happening.

That is why I haven't done a single one yet. And I could farm the mats and grind them up to get the mats for free; but I'd still be losing the price those mats would have brought selling them (so far it hasn't been worth it). And at the price the gold plating is going for; they don't have a Jewelry Master Writ (that I've seen) that pays high enough in vouchers to use up four gold platings on. I've just been selling all my platings and will continue to until they either raise the voucher rewards or the price drops out on the platings and traits.

Agree. I've been doing a daily jewelry writ only for the surveys > metal > purple dust. Lol. When I get a jewelry master writ I just destroy it. Buffy's lifetime procurement of purple platings to date is 8. She needs 9 just to do one set of purple jewelry.

Aw heck! I just used it for bank space on my son's account as soon as I got it. On my account I was saving it for December's new crafting tables I'll have to buy; but last night I was struggling for inventory space in my own account and discovered my youngest two characters had never upgraded their backpacks at all; so divided it up and brought each of them up as high as I could for 50,000 each. I really need to go through all my characters and weed out some of the junk I'm hanging onto!

One day here. I could have really used that 100k too, since Khajiit’s trading guild dropped him without any explanation.

So how long before not paying the TG's sub accounts for the 100k?

I was assuming that the Trading Guild required subscriptions for membership (or minimum sales) to pay for their trading location. If you're dropped, no more subs. Your reaction makes me think they were just trading in-guild.

No, supposedly they had no requirements. Or at least thats what Khajiit was told before he joined. Otherwise, this one wouldn’t have joined.

Even the Trade Guilds with no required sales amounts are still Trade Guilds and the members are expected to sell something (or why join a Trade Guild?). If you are offline for a while and don't tell them (usually by placing a note on your account letting them know you will be gone for X amount of time for Y reason) = almost all of them will remove a member that is inactive for 14 days maximum to make room for a member that wants to be active. That is just how Trade Guilds have to work in order to stay afloat.

Example: SneakyBo Guild (the one I normally invite people to) has no required minimum sales amount because they don't like the idea of kicking someone out who is actively trying to sell; but they do expect their members to keep their store shelves active and try to support the Guild. If they didn't then they would lose their Guild Trader (because it costs so much money to keep a Trader; they need members who are helping them keep that Trader paid).

A Guild can only have 500 members; and the taxes they earn from your sales are 5,000 per 140,000 you sell. The Guild Traders cost in the 10 millions and up every week; so Trade Guilds HAVE to purge inactive members; they have no choice to (in order to make room for members that are bringing in at least some taxes by selling what they can).

Sorry you got bumped if it was a Guild I referred you to; (SneakyBo) and I can always re-invite you (but you will be bumped again if you are not actively participating; and even me being an Officer and the one to invite you can't save you on that. It is just the way it works with Trade Guilds).

No, you weren't sounding bad at all; just wanted to make sure (if it was a guild I invited you to) that if you were bumped you understood why.

Guilds that don't have a Trader to pay (like for example our Chorrolites Guild) can keep members forever because there are no costs at all; but in Trade Guilds = the Traders have to be paid every week; that money has to come from the members pulling together.

SneakyBo wants its members to do it from their hearts; not because they are enforcing a minimum like a lot of Guilds do; (but they still need it to be paid; and whatever members don't contribute, it puts the burden on the rest to pick up that one's slack - so eventually the non-contributing member will be bumped out).

Khajiit has found that the ESO community can often be really cool like that. This one has never once had a bad experience due to the actions of another player.

Overall, same here. It is what bonded me to ESO; how kind so many of the other players were. I have run into a couple people that for some reason were deliberately acting like jerks, but they were so very rare comparatively.

Indeed. Too nice, at times. I’ve seen an argument ensuing on ingame chat about a fellow who was running around different towns asking people to pay off his bounty because he had no gold. Apparently he told someone and they told on him, telling everyone he made 30 k gold because he was just scamming people into sending him coins.

It’s amusing that even inhame we encounter these unpleasant individuals.

hazmick, I agree, the Hunting Grounds home is neat and perfect for the weres. I had peeked in before, but this time I previewed the furnished version and took a good look around the edges. Zero chance of me buying that many Crowns, but congrats to those who do. What a house!

DE, I have seen that bounty scam on the PS4 as well as the “new player needs 10k for mount� scam back before level-up rewards. I didn’t think anything of it, but I was told that some players have low-level characters that they use for begging. What the heck! What a nice gift from Hannah’s Mom. I’m sorry my PS4 game is deleted from the machine, awhile ago I gave everything away and switched to PC. I was just going to re-install to help get the big house, but thankfully we got to 100% a few hours before the download was finished. The Hunting Grounds house reminds me so much of your vision of Hircine’s realm! I have to think that you have some devs among your readers!

Never heard of the new player mount scam. People sure are creative at panhandling online. So many houses to spend precious amount of time that I absolutely do not have. I literally have to worry about furnishing and updating three homes: Coldharbour estate, Hunting Grounds and Psijic manor!

That is exactly what I thought when I saw that place; that it was a perfect replica of the vision of DE's description of Hircine's Realm from his story! He can use some of those huge boulders to make caves along that back wall and even a grotto type one like he lived in; and even put one of those cages in there with the "Fence" NPC in it, lol. Oh, I most def do see Sandor up there!

Aw, that is so sad when a game becomes unplayable; and you don't want to delete it because it holds all those memories of when you played it!








Not only can, but are willing to! When I first started playing, everyone I met was giving me armor/weapons/lockpicks/soul gems/gold/food/potions/etc. It was amazing!

Khajiit checked out Hircine’s Glade yesterday. Man, that place is beautiful. Brenna would love to have that even though she’s not a ww, but we definitely can’t justify the high Crown cost for it

And by the by, can anyone here give ww bites? Khajiit has been considering lycanthropy for Brenna for a while now.

I've also been considering the possibility of turning one of my characters (just to kind of ... test out being a WW). I haven't tried WW or Vampire in this game yet; and would like to at least just try at some point. And maybe when I do I might also want to have a home in Hircine's Realm then and the cost of Crowns might be worth it then. Right now ... not tempted to spend the Crowns either.

I do want to buy Clockwork City if it goes on sale this month for its anniversary launch date; though. (and buy it for my son's game too since he doesn't have a Plus membership).

Also, I am holding out for that awesome little house coming out if they aren't asking a ridiculous Crown amount for it. I love that one!

Haa-Rei can do werewolf bites, not sure what the cooldown for it is (it used to be once per week) but give me a shout here or on discord and we'll see what we can do.

If you have the Dark Brotherhood DLC, it is that same house you get the Blade of Woe in (but somewhere else in the world); and in the basement they have added the Linchal Manor "stables" to add more interior space. The exterior is small, but very unique.

Okay, the Glade isn't as expensive in crown terms as the other limited homes have been - Pariah's was 13K unfurnished, and if I recall correctly, the Palace was 16K. The Glade is half that at 8K unfurnished, and I think 10K furnished. So either way, in terms of cost, it's a great deal. But yeah, if you ain't got the real cash, it's out of your price range regardless.

The light house you are speaking of, mALX, is actually the Snow Globe home, which has been a pretty hot topic on my housing guild chat for the past few weeks. It can be found on the table under the Mid Life Festival tent in Eastmarch, where you go to get that first mug and to turn in your New Life dailies. As of now, speculation is leaning towards that it will be like the Witches Coven Hut, purchasable for gold upon completion of New Life Festival achievements (the Coven can be purchased for a ridiculously low amount of gold upon completion of the Witches Festival achievement, which Maz did last year).

I absolutely love the Witches Hut, but I haven't yet figured out what to do with it. Right now all my dead branches are using up slots in there . . . maybe I'll do something with them and EHT . . .

If you want to visit my Hut, just let me know! Also, if you need help making that achievement (I think for Maz last year she needed so many plunder skulls - we just farmed dolmens for them).

Yes, the snow globe house. Wow, I didn't realize the Witches Coven place could be bought for cheap with the Achievements; or I'd have bought it the first time! And if that snow globe house is sold cheaply for New Life Achievements then I can get it right away when released! WOO HOO!!!

I am really dying to see what the DDA and Vanquish guilds will do with that snow globe house! Have you walked around that gold rim and looked down? All the vids look up to see the tent; but walking around and looking down was the best part for me!

I DID like the fishbowl in Murkmire; but was not really inspired to buy the house or try to decorate it.

Also; have you seen the latest decorating Bear did in that Witches Coven house? He did a wonderful job that last time, it was my favorite of all the ones he's done there.

Just last week I saw a resort someone built in the Coven House that just floored me! It was really well done; and had a spa and everything!

Oh Khajiit hadn’t heard about that one, but it is a nifty house! This one likes that you can see the New Life tent and what not on the outside of the glass looking all giant sized and stuff. During the Festival would there be a giant sized Breda standing around in the tent? That would be a cool touch!

I have a gaggle of bank/crafting mules that somehow reached level CP160 in their level (2-30) gear too. The only time I notice is if they step out into Craglorn to get a couple nodes to finish up a daily writ and drop like flies in a fight, lol.

Wizwen has stopped feeling naked. Unna went dolmen-running in Rivenspire and got her the three pieces of Necropotence jewelry (and ten pieces of the other sets in the process). Then Laurie made her five items of light Kagrenac's Hope to wear. It's all infused, but we haven't enchanted yet. Tomorrow she can go do the quest in Rivenspire that rewards the Necropotence restoration staff and then all we need is a lightning staff for the back bar.

She has a random medium helmet and a heavy cuirass as placeholders until we get a monster pair, and then Laurie can make her another cuirass in Kagenac's when she replaces the shoulders. We did it that way, as there wasn't a decent shoulder choice in the bank.

That's got her equipment up to High, so she can go get her own weapons. Laurie will gold them for her, as she has all the passives, and Wizwen doesn't.

And then it will be Taminwe's turn.

ETA: Cat Man Dhou went and got the weapons for her, as she didn't have a wayshrine anywhere near Rivenspire. But now she has legendary restoration and lightning staves of Necropotence, for a full set on either bar.

I spent some time with Wizwen again last night, just exploring for Skyshards, and adding wayshrines so she can get around the zones. We also made a start on Undaunted and Fighters Guild dailies, letting them decide where we'd explore. The dolmens were a major pain, as she had to do most of the early work solo, hoping that someone else would show up and help. She can generally clear the worm cultists, but then gets swarmed to death by the first wave.

Part of her problem is that she's trying to be a healer, which leaves her light on the damage side for playing solo. I probably should have gone for DPS instead with a magsorc, but my only Templar, Blossom, doesn't have the temperament for anything but axe-murderer. Wizwen has the potential for a lot of magicka, but doesn't yet have enough skill choices/morphs to exploit it, hence the hunt for skyshards. So far she's a glass pea-shooter, and only survives by self-healing, if I'm quick enough.

Taminwe is a stamblade, so her progression should be more straightforward.

So I recently finished the Murkmire prologue quest, and I'm already burnt out by the its dailies lol

Poor Lucius had to demean himself in various ways for one (1) pet component and one Murkmire bowl. Not really seeing much of a reason to do these daily, tbh.

In other news, I'm making an effort to get Ruben to level 50 so he can gather his own damn Platinum. He's already hit 40, but if previous experience with Lucius is any indication, it'll be the hardest to level through.

I also might spring for the Gladiator costume at the current price (lowest being 1.3 mil). I figure if everyone put in like 135k of their gold, they'll get it. (Although I'm not sure Ruben will have much gold to spare)
