Boerderlands looks very fun. Like a mix between Fallout and Crackdown. Im Playing alot of Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 and Assassins creed 2 now.
canis216
Still plodding along with Fallout 3. Been playing a swordsman of late--a swordsman who's fond of mines. Just had some fun taking out the slavers at the Lincoln Memorial by sneaking around and laying out a minefield in front of some fallen pillars, taking a couple of potshots with an assault rifle (just enough to get them to pursue), and then finally retreating behind the pillars (and the minefield). Lots of BOOM! followed. Took out 5 slavers that way--cleaned up the rest with the sword. That was fun.

Also still playing the odd game of Oblivion, if only so I can get charged up to resume my writing.
Olen
I bought the first Assassin's Creed about two weeks ago with the intention of playing it through then getting the second but have given up halfway. That game has the worst controls I've ever struggled with. I know exactly what I want to do, but rather than playing the game I'm fighting with the camera and controls to do another repetative quest with an utterly forced flow. So I gave up. Has anyone tried the new one? Is it any better?

Otherwise I play the odd game of Fallout 3 but tend to struggle not to play the same character as last time - I just like Small Guns, Explosives and Sneak too much.
Bolzmania
Playing Call of Duty, Borderlands and Gears of War 2.
Soulseeker3.0
I'm finally getting around to Bioshock. xD All the surprises were ruined, but 'tis still a fun game. Borderlands was fun but it got really repetitive IMO. *shrug*

I started getting into dragon age:origins for a while, but I just got bored of it.. a bit too D&D for me I suppose blink.gif I recntly re-installed my morrowind and I'm in the process of modding the hell out of it, which counts as playing?

I dunno...

I dont suppose anyone here still plays solitare on their computer do they? biggrin.gif
mplantinga
I've been playing Dragon Age: Origins, but just got bored with it (again!). I'll probably go back to Morrowind for a bit.
Black Hand
Been playing a bunch 'o games here.

Gears of War - My Bro has had it for the last 3-4 years and just picked it up and lovin it.

Dragon Age: Origins - Better then my expectations, because my expectations were pretty low. It will never be the new morrowind, Bioware just cant make a decent sandbox. Sten however, totally kicks @$$.

Assassins' Creed 2 - Wow! This completely outdid the original! There is still some standard side-quests but at least they are varied and interesting unlike the same thing over and over with the First. Plus now you can taunt when you fight.

Velvet Assassin - Nothing to see here folks, just keep on walking. Yeah, pretty bad, which sucks cuz with just a little more development this could have been a pretty good title. Alas....

Wet - While I expect any Bethseda title other then TES to suck in general, this game kicks some serious @$$! If you like Quentin Tarantino films, al la Pulp Fiction and Kill Bill, you simply must play this title.

More reviews to come.

Hey Blackie, do you by any chance have Xbox live?

I don't have any of those fancy gaming consoles everyone else seems to have, just my trusty Sega Dreamcast and Nintendo 64 tongue.gif

But I play most of my games on my PC, which currently consists of Oblivion, Dragon Age Origins, and Medieval Two Total War (Stainless Steel 6.1). And I'll probably drop everything and play Assassin's Creed 2 in May, as I can't play it right now sad.gif

Haha - I can go in my bedroom closet and pull out a Supernintendo !!! ROFL !!!

By the way Darkom, I have a desktop version of all the Sega games in a zip file, if you want to play them on the PC.
Verlox
Like everyone else, Dragon Age. Just waiting for Awakenings now.

I also quite enjoy Demon's Souls. Getting brutally slaughtered by all manner of vile beasties really makes for a good time.
Acadian
Oblivion.

I tend to get absurdly deep into a game and stay there for years. So it was with Diablo II, then the Baldur's Gate saga. By the time I was ready to move to TES, Oblivion was current, so that is exclusively where I have lived for the last almost three years.

I would imagine that after the patchers and modders have had a year or two to work with TES5, I might transition my character there. If TES5 turns out not to our liking, I may move her to a modded version of TESIII.

I haven't said this in a long, long time...

I am the same way. Before I found Oblivion last fall, I spent about two and half years playing and modding Rome Total War to the complete exclusion of any other game else. Now OB is the only thing I ever play. I expect it will be for a long time to come. Even after playing it for about seven months there are still plenty of things I have not done!
Destri Melarg
I am one of those people who loves to play a game, but hates to finish a game. I don't get much enjoyment out of replaying a game that I have already finished (which is strange, because I can read the same books and watch the same movies over and over). That is why Oblivion (and Morrowind before it) are perfect games for me. I have played Oblivion on and off for three years without ever once touching the main quest. wacko.gif
Winter Wolf
Oblivion.
Dead Space.
Forza 3.

And I do know how Destri feels. Hey look, its 130 hours in, I guess I had better start the main quest.
Liam
Been playing A LOT of Fable: The Lost Chapters. And I mean A LOT. Seriously, in one day, my hours played went from seven to fifteen.
Lol. biggrin.gif

Remko
TES3 and WoW
Still looking for the Oblivion GotY for PC.
hazmick
Aliens vs Predator anyone? The newest version of the game of course, It's one of my current favourites (along with Oblivion and LOTR: Conquest) biggrin.gif

Steel Panthers WWII and Morrowind- Bloodmoon.

No Oblivion until I can afford a PCI-E graphics card. And probably no screen-shots of Athynae- the integrated video chipset reacts badly to the head-replacer mod and causes artifacts which= the appearance of "Dunmer pattern baldness."
SubRosa
Steel Panthers brings back memories. I just could not get into the modern era sequel, but the original set in Dubya Dubya Eye Eye just rocked my socks off. Tons of excellent historical battles to play out, and lively campaigns from so many different points of view. I loved the scenario where you play the U.S. Marines invading one of the two little islands next to Guadalcanal. That was a real nail-biter! Or the alternate history one where you defend San Francisco from the Japanese. I lost so many hours of my life to that game, and do not regret a minute!

If you are still interested, these guys Camo Workshop have completely recoded the game so it runs natively under Windows. It is a free download.

No need for DOSBOX or similar; sound, mouse, and video work under Win XP, etc. Lots of other features, but one of the best:

Vehicles can now REVERSE!

Very cool! I am downloading it now.

FIFA World Cup '06 for the PS2. Yup, still don't own a next gen console. The game isn't even mine, I'm sharing it with a roommate. I'm currently playing a managerial campaign as Everton.

I don't want to play anything too involving or addicting because I'm in school right now.

Morrowing GOTY edition arrived this afternoon! It's pretty darn good. biggrin.gif Started a new game as an Imperial who signed up with the legion straight away, he heard some rumours of a place called Solstheim and has gone to check it out...

Ufortunately he ran into some Reavers and got owned so I went back to the drawing board (Or the character creation screen as some call it) and created:

'Hjolfyr the Nord', hunter and woodsman by trade, this crossbow weilding, light armour wearing snow wolf hunter soon became interested in the EEC and is now sitting comfortably at the top of the carreer ladder in raven rock. He is also doing the Skaal tests in his spare time. biggrin.gif
Acadian
Well, I'm still playing exclusively Oblivion. Over three years now. I only play one character at a time and have been happily adventuring with my current one for right at a year and a half now. She's at about 500 hours of game time. tongue.gif
Linara
Oblivion for me...could it be anything else?
Bolzmania
Been playing Halo Reach and a little Warriors of rock the past week. But now I'm playing a little Halo 3 just because it's so awesome! (And because Reach is making me scream in frustration)
Kiln
I didn't like Reach much, it just didn't seem like a good sendoff for the halo series.
Bolzmania
Yeah I'd be lying if I'd said I disagree.
AndreaCosmo
I've been playing a lot of Left 4 Dead on my trusty PC.
SubRosa
After a while of doing FO3, I am back to playing Oblivion again. It is nice to see green again. I just finished the KOTN questline. That was the last major questline I had left to do. Now I am starting a new character inspired by a topic in the Beth forums, a restoration/conjuration/illusion magician.
Bolzmania
I'm currently playing Black Ops and a retro game called Minecraft.
hazmick
Been playing Warhammer:Battle march lately and have just-this-minute gone back on Oblivion. smile.gif

After watching the 2010 version of Alice in Wonderland (or was it Johnny Depp in Wonderland?), I have been playing American McGee's Alice. I have not played it in years. Goddess, such and adorable game!
Destri Melarg
"So wake up, Mr. Freeman . . . wake up and smell the ashes."

I am currently on what has to be my 50th playthrough of Half Life 2 . . . and I haven't even touched The Orange Box yet! biggrin.gif

I just got Morrowind GOTY for the PC (already had it for the XBox, but it didn't play well on my 360) - and Fallout: New Vegas !!!! WOOOOOOT !!!!! (Early Xmas presents, haven't gotten to play either yet, but will before 12/25, guaranteed !!! )
Grits
All I want for Christmas is Morrowind, but I don't think that Santa is getting the hints. Might have to take matters into my own hands.

I'm still playing Oblivion, just started a new character. Big fun.

Tellie
Mass Effect 1 and 2...and naturally Morrowind for me.
Olen
Mass Effect 2 was great, I'm so glad I played it before its predecessor which may be the worst game I've ever played. The storyline may well have been good but I never managed to see it through my rage at the non-functional controls and diabolical cover system. Unfortunatly the offer of a decent storyline kept dragging me back until I sold the game to be rid of it. It was the whole third attempt I know how to do this bit then spending the next half hour trying to make the controls do what I wanted them to. And don't get me started on the AI.

So yes, reading the plot online was more for me.

Currently I'm playing some fairly poor military flight 'sim' (it's very arcade like though) I can't remember the name of. Good to play for short moments between exam revision though. After that I might play fallout or mass effect 2 again.
hazmick
I'm actually playing a PC game (Shock horror) called 'Zeus:Master of Olympus', It's quite old but really good.
mALX
Fallout: New Vegas !!! I am seriously considering replaying Fallout 3 again too, F:NV has made me homesick for it. I put away FO3 a year ago and have only played Oblviion since (on both 360 and PC).

Also, for my XMas present - I bought myself Morrowind for the PC - FINALLY !!! I couldn't stand playing it backwards compatably on my 360 !!! So maybe now I'll get to see some of these quests I've been reading about !!! (YEAH !!!)
Thomas Kaira
Well... besides Oblivion, you mean? (My RP Character right now is a Green Pact Bosmer Ranger, so he can't use any plant matter for alchemy or food.)

There's Morrowind GOTY (MQ power-through char is finished, so I'm switching to RP chars now)

Mass Effect 1 and 2

Fallout 3

Call of Duty (2 and 4, MW2 ruined the multiplayer IMHO)

The Orange Box

(And both of these on my beloved old Gamecube)

Zelda Twilight Princess

Zelda Wind Waker
minque
I...can't play ANYTHING!!!! No pc available, my nice laptop is now in the hands of someone ...unexperienced, and won't be the same until reboot. mad.gif

What I'm using now is a mac...

Pity me! sad.gif
Thomas Kaira
I've finally decided to dust off my copy of Flight Simulator 2004 while I wait for my new sound card to arrive before getting back into Oblivion.

Old man's "game?" Hardly even a game... with the right add-ons. Especially when you are flying planes like these. Bamboozled? You have every right to be, everything you see there works the way it should, from the instruments to the systems to the computer. Everything.

(Photo is from the cockpit of a Boeing 747-400)

That particular plane was a payware add-on provided by the Precision Manuals Development Group (PMDG) and is officially licensed by Boeing. THAT'S realistic.
mALX
Fallout: New Vegas - only 1 hour gameplay so far - haven't had time to get back on it, lol.
The Vyper
I'm currently switching between Oblivion and Fallout 3. Unfortunately, I don't have a lot of time to play at this time of year. I work for UPS and, as you can imagine, we are quite busy. panic.gif

Those are my two favorite games - haven't played enough New Vegas yet to know if it will join them as a fave.
Petra Arkanian
Whoo! I didn't know anyone side's me had a Gamecube anymore!

Lets see...

XBOX 360

Oblivion, my 11 year old assassin Nord girl named Jane

GAMECUBE

Zelda Windwaker, a guy named aRAGON (yes, sadly, something happened when I was making him, and the caps switched. But I was only 8, so.)

Animal Crossing, a really ugly girl called Texas.

Lego Starwars 1 and 2 (No names on this)

Harry Potter 4 ('cept I'm playing Hermione)

Narnia (No names)
