The caravans still stop at Megaton's crater. Usually one shows up every day. So you still have them to sell things to. Loviatar kept them alive.
Khajiit was referring to the traders within Megaton

I know, but you can still wait outside of Megaton for the caravans to show up there. So you not completely out of merchants. And Moira survives. She goes to Underworld, so you can still do her quest.

You also get a home in Tenpenny tower and a bunch of merchants there. So it works out if you go that path. Granted, the Tenpenny room is smaller and less customizable than the Megaton shack. But there are mods that allow you to add themes or otherwise spiff it up.

The only time Khajiit has done it was when it absolutely fit with how a character would act. Most of this one’s characters aren’t that straight up blind evil though.
Heh, a fun thing to do if you plan on blowing up Megaton is to assault the town before you push the button. Gets you a lot of loot!

And you can trade with the TPT folks even if you deactivate the bomb so the only way you lose vendors is if you blow up Megaton.

From what I've read Moria doesn't die during the blast but she turns into a ghoul and goes underground where you can still do business with.

There probably are mods like that for Fallout 3. Or just move the difficulty slider down.
This doesn't work that well, to be honest. I always turn the game difficulty to Very Easy on my first run, and they were still way too spongey. I had to console in some ammo just to keep up with the enemies.
TheCheshireKhajiit
Jul 9 2018, 02:39 PM
Khajiit just doesn’t understand why BGS thought “extra spongey= greater difficulty”. While it is true that killing an enemy takes more effort to kill, it’s not really all that difficult if you persevere. This one likes what they did for Fallout4’s Survival difficulty in that they actually made it take less hits to kill enemies but their attacks could kill you quicker. They could’ve done something like that in F3 instead of making all of the enemies bullet sponges and calling it “very hard”.

FALLOUT 4 SURVIVAL MODE (with the settings tweaked via the Survival Options mod) IS MY JAM. So much more fun and intense. On my last playthrough, I upped incoming and outgoing damage to 2.5. Really makes things intense!

Khajiit really enjoys Survival difficulty with the Survival Options mod. Take away that ridiculous save limitation and slow down some of the necessities rates and this one is good to go.

Exactly. I add back save buttons, decrease the food/drink requirements a little bit, and removed the weight penalty. Love it so much, and it never really gets too easy, unless you abuse Ballistic Weave.
I should note that I also never play without the Realistic Headshots mods. I don't care how high a level an NPC is - a Gunner should not just shake off a .50 round to the face.

Woah, really? Khajiit has never seen that. Just yesterday we were fighting that pack of named ferals in that neighborhood near Vault 81 and disabled a ghoul by blowing a leg off. It just laid there looking around and we even stepped up to where it could attack us but it didn’t.

Yeah. I only ever saw screens of it from other people on reddit, but it happened to me at Bedford Station a few weeks ago. My latest YouTube Transport Fever Scenic Ride-Along episode just finished processing and is available for public view. In this one we deliver coal to a Steel Mill.
This is my last train route with sufficient scenery the majority of its route to be worth "filming." For now at least. I hope to continue the series as more of the map gains decent scenery, but doubt I'll be able to keep any sort of fixed upload schedule. Oops, what am I thinking? Me and Microsoft had a fallen out. I bought a $100.00 Xbox Gift Card from GameStop and it was activated and everything, so I took it home and found out the card didn't work. I tried contacting Microsoft and tell them about it and they couldn't do anything and directed me to talk to GameStop about it only to find out GS can't do anything about it either. So basically I just burned $100.00 that could have been used for something else.
Anyway I decided to trade the XB1S for the Zelda Theme New 2DS XL.

The code just didn't work, it was a faulty gift card. I think I had something similar happen when I owned a 360 I got a Xbox Gift card and the darn thing didn't work. I never had issues with Sony and Nintendo but that one was my bad as I scratched a letter off by accident but I managed to find the missing number/letter and got the card to work anyway.

That's why I don't do laptops.
Desktop PCs are cheaper. Much cheaper. And you can do so much more with them, whereas the PS is just for games. In fact, you can emulate most consoles on them too, if you're into that.
Not sure how good the emulation scene is for the newer ones, since I haven't dealt with it in a while(not a retro console fan either really), but I know a lot of the older ones are readily available.
Edit, just found a PS4 emulator in a shiz and grinz google search. >.>

The only Ys game I own is "Ancient Land of Ys" on 5 1/4 and 3 1/2 inch floppies for IBM/TANDY and 100% compatibles. VGA, EGA, CGA, Tandy 16 color, Hercules compatible. MS DOS or PC DOS 2.1 or higher. Keyboard or joystick. Bought it circa 1989/90. Have only vague memories of the game. Know I didn't play it to completion. This was when I was brand new to both PC and at home video gaming. I still have the box and its contents. Heck, my third PC sports a 3 1/2 inch floppy reader. Doubt I'll see if it runs. That PC hasn't been used in well over a year and is WAY behind on Windows updates.

Couple of frustrating, by and large unproductive days in TpF. Attempted improvements along different segments of what laughably passes for the map's railway "mainline." In each case I ultimately admitted defeat and backed out of all I did. Also did some scenic detailing along one of the mainline's too rare adequately constructed segments. Even that wasn't totally satisfying as some of what I didn't can't be seen while traveling at track level (riding trains).
Need to finish adding text narrative to what will be TpF Scenic Ride-Along ep7. By rights I ought to wrap up and post it tonight. Somehow suspect that ain't gonna happen.
ADDENDUM:
Now several hours since my initial posting, I just finished an excellent TpF session that saw me add four crop fields, an orchard, farmstead, hedges and trees, and detailing as needed. Lots of fun. The difference, I think, is that this time there was no indecision or fishing for workable ideas. No question what that stretch of land was gonna be used for. An irony is that it fills a scenic gap in the TpF ride-along episode I'm adding text to before posting. No way am I gonna re-shoot all that footage to include the new scenery. What I might do is "film" just that section of the ride and included it in a separate video along with some in-progress scenic projects not far enough along, and unlike to be so for quite a while, for their own individual videos.
