ESO is fun, but it has its annoying limitations. This what my character, Unna Bear-Rider wants to look like, but she doesn't. I had to "photoshop" that from a combination of costumes.

Nice! Don't those boots come without the costume or armor attached? I'm sure the undies have been vamped up a bit; but truthfully = I don't mind ESO vanilla undies. They fit well, and don't overly cover anything up - not like the vanilla Oblivion bras and panties that sagged so badly they HAD to be modded!

That's the problem. The boots only come in complete costumes, and you can't get separate ones that tall. And all the chests come with bits around the waist that she doesn't want.

Well, your photo-shop job was fantastic! I did recognize those boots from at least one costume; and (like you, wished we could get those boots as an armor or clothing piece separately.

I'm really enjoying A Link Between Worlds, tbh

I only ever played A Link to the Past once, years ago (it's on my old Wii), but I immediately recognized some beats from that game carrying over to this one. I like the item rental system because it opened up the game and made it a lot less linear, but on the other hand the dungeons seem a little short.

That or I'm too conditioned to Zelda puzzles and they don't exactly challenge me anymore in spite of the addition of the wall-merging mechanic as another layer to puzzle solving. (I still remember getting stuck on Phantom Hourglass)

'Course, there ARE several optional mini-dungeons where you get money at the end, which I guess does make up for it a little. Since you'll need a ton of money to buy the items for keeps. (They only way you can upgrade them)

ADDENDUM: That said, it isn't an "easy" game in the least. Mostly it's the enemies doing a ton of damage after a certain point :v Also things in are very expensive lol, not just item rental/purchase

Anyways, I'm in Lorule now and retrieved one Sage portrait. Game's opened up a lot now that I have access to the full world...well, giant boulders aside.
Dark Reaper
I love Link Between Worlds but my only complaint with the game is that you don't get to fight Hilda. I think a battle reminiscing of Agahnim would have been perfect for Hilda.

NEWS FLASH!

My latest Transport Fever Ride-Along, episode 11, is now available for view at YouTube.

Gotta admit this one is a bit underwhelming. (What's new?) It's a short ride along a newly created train route carrying passengers between the cities of Epping and Kidderminster. Scenery in an unfinished WIP. To the plus, of my posted TpF videos this one suffers less from YT video compression when viewed Full Screen at 1080p. (I still prefer Theater Mode at that resolution for a crisper image, but to each his or her own.)

In other TpF news, last night I nuked a failed Tools Delivery chain to the ground (minus its railway network which survives intact) and moved its three industrial complexes to new positions along the route. It's a bit early to declare victory, but hopes are high that at long last Tools are being made and delivered. About time. That bloody transport line has been in the black since its creation several months ago.

This vid had some kind of strobing light effect on it that would have caused me to have a seizure if I'd kept watching. I had to shut it off, which I hated to do since I like your vids so much! Do you know what caused that light thing to flicker? It was even doing it in the beginning when the train was standing still.

Went back to Fallout: New Vegas today. I completed the Old World Blues DLC last week and just today started Dead Money, the last DLC I have left to play.

When I played the end of the game prior to starting the DLCs, I decided to help the NCR. But I think when I finish Dead Money and any other loose ends in the main game, I'm going to go the Independent route. I believe it is in the best interest of both the Mojave Wasteland and the NCR. The Mojave shouldn't be forced to be part of the NCR and the NCR is spreading itself too thin. I guess the way my character is going to think of it is, basically, "I want to help the NCR to show I have no animosity toward them and so we can annihilate the Legion, but the NCR is also unfairly taking over the Mojave and I am going to make that known as well. The Mojave is better off determining its own fate, and the NCR is spreading itself out too fast and too thin to effectively hold onto the Mojave."

Ooh, I want to see a vid of your character booting the NCR boss off the Dam!

Flickering is a feature of the "old film" effect filter applied to the video's beginning and end. I used the effect's lowest setting to minimize "strobing." Any setting above that bothered me, and I'm not normally affected by such things. Was hoping my setting choices were mild enough for everyone, but guess not. I thought about re-linking the vid for you, beginning after the "old film" segment ends. Then I remembered the vid ends with the filter applied again.

There is a chance the train route will be seen again within the next several episodes due to a number of scenic improvements made after ep.11 aired. I don't plan to use the "old film" filter for that episode.

Sorry, Mariah did not throw General Oliver off the Hoover Dam. Not her style. She doesn't hate the NCR as a whole, but she thinks they are overstepping their bounds in the Mojave Wasteland. Have some screenshots in the Mojave Meanderings thread though.

The other day I played a bit of Fallout 4. I hadn't played it since August and wow, was I rusty. Good thing my character is so powerful, because I would've gotten wrecked. I was in the midst of finished the DLC with Vault 88, but I took a couple trips outside as well (settlements have to be attacked the WORST. POSSIBLE. TIME.).

I also forgot how rather poorly optimized this game is. I have a really good laptop that has run a couple more intensive games than Fallout 4, but some places outside get some ridiculous slowdowns. Still playable, but frustrating nonetheless. Guess I'll have to turn the settings down just a bit.

Okay, I take this back. The Thieves Hideout, Desert Palace, and Swamp Palace were moderate difficulty and I never got stuck for more than a minute, but the Dark Palace was pretty dang tricky (with a fun and interesting gimmick to boot) and I still can't figure out how to enter Turtle Rock. IDK what to expect from that, the Ice Ruins and Skull Woods, but hopefully something harder. :v

Thanks, I would appreciate [uploading a new edition of the TpF ep11 train ride]. I hate missing something you've made = love your creativity.

Here it be, hot off the press: Transport Fever Scenic Excursion ep13 - Epping to Kidderminster Passenger Service "Sexy Rocks" Edition. Besides non use of the 'old film' filter for a portion of the video (thus no 'flickering') this one sports general scenic improvement along the route and a rock cliff constructed not far outside Epping thanks to the newly released mod 'Sexy Rocks.'

ADDENDUM:
Just double-checked the video at YouTube. My issue with YT compression degradation seen in earlier uploads is now much abated. This episode (along with ep11, maybe 12) looks reasonably focused at 1080p in Threater Mode and is now watchable Full Screen. The cure, I believe, is to render YT upload files at a lower bitrate than I previously did. This has the added benefit of smaller file size thus quicker uploading over my slow-as-molasses internet connection.

Oh, thanks! I finally managed to get in after a detour to the Ice Ruins (and than in itself was a doozy). It was the one stuck to the wall that I was missing. :T

I also managed to get 100 rupees in the baseball minigame and get the heart piece. They, uh, weren't exactly clear how the angle and timing of the swing affected the ball's trajectory. Once I got it, it was only a few tries that I finally got 100 (plus 70-80 rupees in unsuccessful tries, better than the 30-ish that I started out with)

So that's a major hurdle for me surmounted! I'm really glad I got this game. I completely forgot about Zelda shortly after Skyward Sword until Breath of the Wild came out.

For a couple years now I've felt more and more compelled to get Doom 2016. However, as I'm someone who likes stealth a bit too much and a slow approach in general I don't think I will. Also I'm not skilled enough to play how I'd like to wink.gif

But I wanna ask a couple of things. Has anyone here played it and if so, what did you think? I'm also curious to know if enemies in a map respawns constantly like in Bioshock 1 and 2 or not.

I've played it (got it on the Switch) and quite enjoyed it. Fairly basic linear shooter, great action, superb soundtrack, decent story. Enemies don't respawn, and the way it usually works is that a large number will spawn when you enter a new area so you fight several waves before moving on.

Couple questions:

* You can't save at any time, right?
* Does it require Steam or other kind of online thingy?

Finished A Link Between Worlds. I noticed that I'm not the only one that thought the game was too short, but on the other hand there wasn't anything in the way of "padding". A well-put together game, imo. Might try Hero Mode, but for now it's Ocarina of Time, uh, time.

Also I finished the game to 100% as far as actual useful things go. I did NOT do the "endless" cuckoo minigame because spending 16+ minutes playing a bullet hell minigame for something that's barely helpful (giant cuckoo that gives you hearts when you talk to it) is not my idea of fun. There's also the bonus boss unlocked by participating in the multiplayer part of the game.

Overnight I uploaded episode 14 in my Transport Fever Scenic Excursion series. It's a blasphemy episode in that for one third of its duration, the stretch of railway between Eastleigh and Morley, our route contains no added scenery whatsoever other than some seen at distance across the river. For this reason it almost didn't see light of day. After much debate I decided the scenery-barren segment contains enough train spotting to justify an upload.

I grow more and more frustrated with my current TpF map due to its many failures. To correct these, assuming I can, will require nuking a major portion of my railway system to the ground and more or less beginning afresh. This I am reluctant to do. Besides, if I start afresh I'd rather do so with a new, larger map, either a downloaded custom map or a randomly generated map set to "huge." (My current map is "medium.") What's holding me back? First, I'm not yet quite sure what sort of railway network I want. Second, I don't believe I've learned how to avoid my current map's failures, especially in regard to Rail Freight. (I think I can now design a passable Rail Passenger Network.) Third, in some ways most significant, re-installing my 260-plus mods will be a major, time-consuming headache. The game's built-in mod manager gets the job done, but doesn't provide automatic transfer between maps with their proper load order retained. A third-party mod manager is available, but it's geared more toward non Workshop mods. Only a handful of mine aren't Workshop mods.
mirocu
And again I completely own the entire inner core in Star Wars: Rebellion. My Main Fleet consists of two Interdictor Cruisers and 19 Super Star Destroyers with a total of 228 squadrons of TIE Defenders. No Death Star this time.

Coruscant is non-conquerable and each sector has its own defensive fleet of Imperial II Star Destroyers with roughly 30-40 TIE Defender sqaudrons. Not to mention the extra squadrons that reside on the system they were built in.

Now I'm searching the Outer Rim for that pesky Rebellion HQ.

I am so totally with Mirocu on this; but in order to be able to play some of the games I wanted to try; I finally broke down and got Steam and started getting games from them during their ridiculously low sales. The games don't mess up; but Steam does = A LOT. I have to constantly re-install the Steam Client and all the games because Steam keeps "losing" itself.

The only way to handle Steam without having issues is = as soon as you have everything loaded and working right; put yourself in Offline mode. You will never have any issues with Steam or your games as long as you stay in Offline mode on your Steam account. Otherwise there is always something going wrong with it.
