I love that mission. They need to have that mission in a larger map with brood wars units available. Then it'd be really interesting.

The combat in Kingdoms of Amalur just got too tiresome, so I am giving it a rest. Instead I reinstalled Dragon Age: Origins and am giving it a second try. This time I went with an Elf Mage
named Juno. She's the short one (can anyone guess who I tried to pattern her face off of?)
So far so good. I am enjoying it more this time. In spite of being a squishy mage, Juno can really dish out the pain. She's definitely the A-7 Corsair in the strike package.
btw. is there any place I can find some robes in this game? I am sick of this bright yellow fashion disaster Juno has been stuck with since the Circle Tower. And there is no way I can take looking at Morrigan in that ridiculous top. I want to burst out laughing every time I look at her.

The robes look pretty meh, one of th reasons I always take the Arcane Warrior specialisation. As I recall the early options for robes are either a shop in Denerim, I can't remember the name, or the Circle Tower after Ostagar.
All the fun of magic, with the solidity of armour, and the ability to basically go berserker and hack things up with a sword instead.
As far as I'm concerned, there's no reason not to take it.

I have played Fallout Tactics and Fallout 1. I have 2, but have yet to start a game. They are all standalone games, where you play a different protagonist, so what order you play them does not matter at all.
Tactics especially is even more standalone than the others, as it is so far away from the west coast, where the other games are set. It is also more of a squad-based military strategy game with some RPG elements, than an RPG game, even turn-based ones like FO1 & 2. Even so if you play one, you will see the same basic elements in all the others. They all have the isometric view. All are turn-based. All have two maps: a world map where you decide to go to one place or another, and then a tactical map that comes up when you get there, or when there is a random encounter along the way.
I think Tactics was my favorite. But it was my first Fallout Game, so that might have influenced me. It also has R.Lee Ermey doing one of the voices, so that also endears it to me.

My Courier chronicles:
Having braved the dangers of the Sierra Madre and stopped the schemes of Father Elijah for good, Tom, our kind-hearted but quick-triggered courier stepped back to the Mojave, having learned the importance of letting go. His journey to the long lost casino was not one for wealth (though he did leave a considerably richer man), but for knowledge. And of that he gained plenty.
First and foremost, he was taught a few more tricks: namely how as an energy weapon user it is very important to keep a conventional weapon of some kind alongside in case you get into a tight spot. One that is easy to procure ammo for and maintain (as energy weapons are very complex and require very specific parts). He has now taken to keeping Maria, Benny's old pistol, with him as his final fallback weapon (being of only average strength, he doesn't like to use melee weapons).
But the most important lessons he learned were of the people involved. The deeper into the Casino he delved, the clearer the ties to the Brotherhood of Steel became. And now, back in the Mojave, he is curious about what prompted Father Elijah to attempt to seize the wealth and power of the Sierra Madre by such ruthless means. All the more reason for him to fulfill Veronica's request of returning to the Brotherhood headquarters in the Mojave. What caused Father Elijah, apparently a highly gifted member of theirs, to go rogue? Furthermore, what is his history with Veronica? Why couldn't Elijah let go of his past, and in so doing fall into Fredrick Sinclair's trap beneath his grand resort?
It was a highly eventful journey, one Tom will never forget. Even now he still feels the twinges of sadness at the tale of the Sierra Madre, the doomed labor of love that became an instrument of vengeance, ready to destroy any who did not understand its motto.
Hopefully, answers await. Until then, Mr. House can wait a couple more days.

I am still playing Dragon Age: Origins. I am liking it a lot better this time around than when I tried it last year. I am about halfway through the game with my mage. For shits and giggles I tried created a couple of other characters to see what the other origin stories are like. So I created
Kalaratri a dwarf noble warrior, and
Nanaya: a city elf rogue.
I played both as far as Ostagar, and I have to say I liked the stories of each, even if they were rather depressing. One thing I really like is that how no matter which Origin you pick, the events of every one have happened in the game world, just with people other than your character. I first noticed that playing Juno, when she met Jowan again in Redcliffe. When I could not get into the Elven Alienage in Denerim I figured that had to be because of the City Elf Origin, and then visiting the Dwarf City had me thinking the succession crisis was due to the something in one of the Dwarven Origins. Now I can see that both those are the case.
I have also noticed that the Grey Wardens seem to be almost entirely made up of criminals, outcasts, and the like. It has been so long since I did the Dalish Elf Origin (my first time playing at least a year ago), that I cannot remember if you had to leave one step ahead of the law or not. They are like the French Foreign Legion, the end of the line for people who have to disappear.
Edit: I brushed up on the Dalish Elf origin in the wiki. Now I remember. In that one your character is exposed to Darkspawn magic, and it is a choice between becoming a Warden, or turning into a Darkspawn. So while not being exiled or saved from the hangman's noose, it is a still a case of not really having any choice. As Darth Vader said: "He will join us or die!"

Yes but not legally,I was lucky to get it in beta when it was cheaper.
But if you really want to KILL VIDEO GAMES then you can probaly get a Torrent very easily by just searching it on google.
Also,a game I think everyone needs to get is Brothers:A Tale of Two Sons,I think it's my new favourite game.
It's only 3 hours long but boy,was it worth the 6.99.
The way you control the two brothers may seem annoying for a few minutes but later on in the game it's used perfectly, but if your getting it on PC you'll need a controller.....you'll also need tissues :'(

Right now I´m happy to be playing the NES classic Deja Vu. It´s in the same style as Shadowgate, Uninvited and Maniac Mansion which is to say point-and-click.
In this game you wake up in a bathroom at a bar, sometime in the 40s I think. You have no memory of who you are or where you are and the game starts from there.
Being one of only four games* in the entire NES library to be translated to Swedish, I´m having a much more enjoyable time than if it had been in English.
*Games translated are Shadowgate, Maniac Mansion, F-15 Strike Eagle and Deja Vu.

Finished Primordia not long ago. It's a retro point-and-click RPG, with an excellently realised post-apocalyptic gothic science fiction aesthetic done in classic 8-bit style, and some really rather brilliant writing. The puzzles were generally logical while still being challenging (one or two were generally a bit obtuse, but most were OK but while they were fun to solve the main drive was the compelling two main characters, Horatio and Crispin, who really made it for me.
Excellent game, and worth checking out.
