Where is January (hint, this is Morroblivion, so it is using the Oblivion game engine, but in Morrowind).

She is... somewhere none of mine have been to yet.

So... PASS!

Sheogorath's palace in New Sheoth, Shivering Isles?
Lena Wolf

Can you be more specific?
mirocu
Feb 5 2022, 10:06 PM
Not without looking up the locations within using UESP. And I feel that's cheating
Lena Wolf

Everything is permitted.

Consider using logic. The clues are all there.

Lothran has never fully explored it so I'm just gonna guess the chambers of the Dutchess of Crucible.
Lena Wolf
Feb 6 2022, 11:57 AM
Nope.

However, if no one else comes up with an answer within a reasonable period of time, you're getting the cake! Although I can't guarantee it will be a semla.
macole
Feb 7 2022, 10:23 PM
is it the House of Dementia?
Lena Wolf
Feb 7 2022, 10:53 PM
Nope. Hint: flame colour is...
macole
Feb 8 2022, 02:21 AM
Dummer, I get the two names mixed-up all the time. Then it's the House of Mania. I was going by the blue color of the area behind the fire bowl. In the other house it is red, I think.
Lena Wolf
Feb 8 2022, 01:17 PM
Sheogorath's Palace is a bit confusing and not entirely logical. Which is very logical in itself, I find.

House of Mania it is!

(I think they have the same blue windows throughout, although other buildings in Mania indeed tend to have orange/red windows. But the flame gives it away.)

QUOTE(macole @ Feb 8 2022, 04:45 PM)

On my trip through Vvardenfell Constance and I stumbled upon this.
Where am I?Macole, we don't know.

The old Morrowind players have obviously already forgotten it, while the new Morrowind players haven't gotten that far yet or haven't started their Morroblivion adventure yet... <stares at her navel>

I just did Morrowind, and I have no memory of this place.

a hint: it's one of the most famous Morrowind Easter Eggs.
Lena Wolf
Feb 11 2022, 09:34 AM
By Akatosh! This is the body of Indiana Jones in the Omalen Ancestral Tomb! So that's what happened to him...

(And yes, I cheated.)

Bingo, bango, bongo we have a winner. Cake goes to Lena.
The note A dying man's last words by Indie, is something else.
"My adventures have taken me all over. I have been places that man never knew existed. I have retrieved artifacts and fine treasures that were thought to be myth. From chalices of origins long lost, to gems with power unthought of by man, to powerful religious artifacts that house more interest to madmen than sane. I shall at least take these fine memories with me to the grave."

Ooh thank you!

Poor Indiana.
How about this? Location, please.

North of Cheydinhal up in the mountains - where you can read the journal of some man/woman that encountered the Uderfrykte?
Lena Wolf
Feb 12 2022, 11:43 AM
Yeah, Lopov is right - Dive Rock.
SubRosa
Feb 13 2022, 04:53 AM
Lopov has it

. It is the tent at Dive Rock where you can read the journal of the guy who was eaten by the Unidentified Mutton.

Shonta is on Artaeum, near the wayshrine to his left.
Lopov
Feb 13 2022, 07:32 PM
Exactly.

Feb 13 2022, 08:01 PM
Thanks, Lopov!
Where's Buffy?Hint: Though an ESO shot, any Oblivion player should be able to place it as well.
mirocu
Feb 13 2022, 08:16 PM
Why it's of course right outside the Anvil castle with the Chapel Gate behind Buffy!
macole
Feb 13 2022, 08:39 PM
Yep, very recognizable. Unfortunately, I was too late.
Acadian
Feb 13 2022, 09:49 PM
I'm so glad that an Oblivion player was able to recognize Anvil in ESO! ESO's representation of that area and east through Kvatch is wonderfully nostalgic.
Your turn, mirocu!
mirocu
Feb 13 2022, 09:53 PM
It is one of Lothran favourite places, and mine, so I recognized it immediately. Good one, Acadian!

This one can be a bit tougher. The general area is good enough but if you can pinpoint it, all the better!
Where is Lothran?
Lena Wolf
Feb 13 2022, 11:18 PM
It's Topal Bay, East of Leyawiin, I think, but I'll need a closer look in game to find the exact location.
mirocu
Feb 14 2022, 06:59 PM
Ehhh, can't accept that as it's not actually correct (enough).
As you said; can you be more specific..?
Lopov
Feb 14 2022, 07:45 PM
Close to the Vile Lair?
mirocu
Feb 14 2022, 07:58 PM
The good doctor gets it!
I had to look that up as I don't have the plugin installed. But yes, Lothran is right where the house remains are at the very south of Cyrodiil where Deepscorn Hollow also is if you have Vile Lair.
Take it away, Lopov! --->
macole
Feb 14 2022, 09:29 PM
Wow, I went there but the landscape mod I use changed it so much it wasn't recognizable.
Lopov
Feb 14 2022, 11:46 PM
The stone (whatever it is) on the left side gave it away, I remembered that there are remains of some house on the beach close to where the Deepscorn Hollow is located.
Thanks for the cake!
Now where is the Hobo?
mirocu
Feb 15 2022, 05:18 PM
Oh, I know this one!
If no one gets it, I'm gonna go ahead and snatch this one too
