Thanks, Renee.
I suppose it was the lighting, or maybe the mist over the water, that gave the location away.
Here's my offering:

That's an unusual rock formation on the right.
I think I already posted this location (from a different angle). It's Meridia's shrine.
Edit: and I didn't click on the "next image" link, which really gives it away!

I think I might have it right, because of
the next image on her set which is another angle of the same scene.
But no rush, or I've got to find a picture where nobody's exposing anything!

Ghastley is up, we are waiting for him to find a screen with no boobs showing to post, lol. I personally think that would be fine too, but it might make it hard to look at the background and guess where it is for SOME of us (no names, of course) (...Acadian...).

Oh my Gosh, I am so SORRY! I completely forgot about this thread! Yes, ghastley has it correct, and thanks for confirming it on my Flickr album.
@Acadian: that looks like Frostflow Lighthouse, between Dawnstar and Winterhold. It's on that little track over the mountains that leads you past Alftand and Saarthal before depositing you near Azura's Shrine. After over 500 hours of adventuring, Alise and I (and Argis, natch) discovered the place and its story. Sad!

Aug 16 2015, 08:01 PM
Rider has it right! I actually took that shot some time ago with this thread in mind. That's why I made sure to include the trap door, brazier above and, if you look way in the distance by Buffy's right elbow, you can see a great big hint named Azura.
I really think the quest there is fabulously done.

It's the Wind Stone, but I suspect we need the name of the ruin we're looking from (behind the camera).
Is that the exit from Miraak's Temple?
haute ecole rider
Aug 18 2015, 05:21 PM
I think Grits was thinking of the right place, but I was hoping she would come back with the name of the All-Maker Stone that one can see shining in the left background.
For that reason, I have to give the

to ghastley. To be exact, it is on the path from the secret exit from the Temple of Miraak to the Skaal village, just east of the bridge over the cataracts. Alise had to stop there because the sunrise never looked so beautiful as it did just then. So there is no need to come up with the name of the ruin behind her because there is no ruin behind her, just the bridge.
ghastley
Aug 18 2015, 06:49 PM
And I'll toss the

to Grits, as I wouldn't have known without her prompt. Besides, all my screenshots are either indecent, or of mod-added locations, usually my own Hearthfire mods.

Broken Tower Redoubt?
Only because Alise kept getting harrassed by Forsworn every time she tried to pass that ruin on the road. One day Argis got just as fed up as she was and took off chasing every f**ing Forsworn into and throughout that dungeon. Alise had to follow him to cover his back.
This was before they married. Boy, did she have some choice words for him then!
Grits
Aug 21 2015, 12:36 AM
Yep, that is indeed Broken Tower Redoubt. The cake is haute's!

NPC Jerric has done the same thing, diving right through that front door when Lil would prefer to snipe the lookouts from the hill and leave the rest alone. No wonder Jerric and Argis don't get along in my games. They must have the same level of aggression.

ghastley, Abiene and Jerric were there on Dibellan business sparked by your mod.

If the mod was installed, how did you get Jerric to leave the temple?
And talking of mirocu, I looked through my Oblivion screenshots to see if I had any for this thread. The only one that wasn't from one of my mods (or the Wobbly Goblet / Lucky Mudcrab) was
this one. That might have been a bit easy for him.
