Autumnwatch Tower?
mALX
QUOTE(Renee @ Jan 3 2017, 04:32 PM) *

Hee hee yeah, I woulda never guessed.

Where is Bjorn Tubewyyld?

On top of a fort tower in Skyrim? Final Answer !!!!

BWAAHAA!!!

Renee
*Bzzt!* and *Bzzt!*

Here's a hint: The entire place gets locked up after we leave, but it's easy to get back in. The place also has and interior area, with some beds where soldiers are supposed to sleep, but one of ours cannot sleep here, for some odd reason.
Lopov
Before I saw the hint, I thought of Helgen. Isn't that the ruined tower where you seek shelter during the tutorial?

When I read the hint, I think I'm right. bigsmile.gif
Renee
*DANG DANG DANG DANG!*

cake.gif

Grits
Good one! I was thinking about that area, but Helgen just didn't come to mind. wacko.gif
Renee
I was going to post another hint: We've all been there at least once, assuming no trickery from Nexus. biggrin.gif
Lopov
Thanks! Corcaigh was my first character who discovered that the top of this tower can be reached.

Where is Forrah?
mALX

Forrah is gorgeous!

Lopov
Wrong. biggrin.gif
Kane
She is where I am not, and that is a dang shame!

Candlehearth Hall?
Lopov
Nope, but it's in one the neighboring holds.
Kane
Oh, ok. That only narrows it down to about half of Skyrim, lol. rollinglaugh.gif rollinglaugh.gif
ghastley
There's not many places with that little clutter, unless the building is a ruin. Is she back at Helgen, in a half-demolished house?
Kane
Falkreath doesn't neighbor Windhelm, though.
Lopov

Nope. All holds that border Falkreath are wrong too. So that excludes some more from the previous hint.

The building she's in, isn't a ruin.
Kane
That leaves the Pale and Winterhold...

Nightgate Inn?
Lopov
Nope.

Final hint: do sabre cats drink alto wine?
mALX
QUOTE(Lopov @ Jan 6 2017, 01:15 AM) *

Nope.

Final hint: do sabre cats drink alto wine?

She's the best looking sabre cat I've ever seen!

ghastley
As in Stumbling Sabre Cats? At Fort Dunstad?
Lopov
Yes, that's correct.

ghastley
Then it's time for an easy one.

Where Am I?
mALX

Morrowind, Final Answer !!!!!

Kane
A plastic surgery center? wink.gif
Renee
Mournhold, final answer! biggrin.gif

ghastley
Not Mournhold. I have the expansions, but neither is active for this game.
Lopov
Ghostfence?
SubRosa
The shrine just north of the Ghostgate. The Shrine of Pride.
ghastley
No, and No.

You can two lookout towers and a bit of town wall, so it's a town, but which?
SubRosa
Maar Gaan?
ghastley
Not Maar Gan, but close.
Lopov
Ald'Ruhn.
ghastley
Lopov has it.

Take the cake.gif, too
Lopov
Thanks.

Raven stands at the entrance to...?
mALX
QUOTE(Lopov @ Jan 16 2017, 08:26 AM) *

The South Sewers entrance?

Renee
Sinkhole Cave....final answer!
Lopov
No and No.
Acadian
Memorial Cave?
Lopov
Yes and yes. bigsmile.gif

cake.gif
Acadian
Thanks, Lopov! That was a great shot to puzzle out - the angle to Wellspring Island and the White Gold Tower and such.

Okay, a Skyrim shot - Where is Buffy?
mALX

Is she entering that place where she had to give up her soul to enter?

Acadian
Exactly - The threshold of the Soul Cairn. Though, I think Buffy made Acadian give up his instead of partially surrendering hers. tongue.gif

Your turn, mALX! cake.gif
mALX

Holy Crap, I actually got a Skyrim one right? Urgh, I don't have any new screens ... better to open the floor up for another member to post a screen!

*mALX snatches the cake before leaving...*

Kane
I'll post an easy one to get the ball rolling again. smile.gif

Where is Dar'rasha?
mALX

A dungeon! Final Answer!

Acadian
Oooh! Good one! The treasure room deep in Pinewatch.
Kane

DING! cake.gif Acadian got the cake. Snapped that screenie during our dead is dead competition. smile.gif
Acadian
Thank you, Cain. Buffy used to clear Pinewatch every time she was in the Falkreath area.

Okay, what follows is an ESO shot but the location is remarkably similar in Skyrim. In fact, I think Skyrim players will find it much easier to name than ESO players.

ESO is so darn big with so many zones and provinces that using shots from the game can be challenging in this thread. Hopefully, this one will work. If it struggles, I'm prepared to add a series of progressive hints.

Anyway, where is Buffy?
ghastley
I'm not an ESO player, but it does look similar to Broken Helm Hollow in Skyrim. Is that an ESO location, too?

And trust Buffy to find a waterfall.
Acadian
Yes! As I said, though it is an ESO shot, I wanted to encourage Skyrim players to guess as well. And you are usually quite good at 'reading' hints provided by surrounding terrain. It is fabulous how well ESO showcases known locations from previous games. Sometimes, like here, there is little change. Other times, they do a very nice job of what a ruin might have been like so long ago during the ESO timeframe.

You turn, ghastley! cake.gif
