I noticed one very important thing - the blond Warden's hair. That looks like Chef Donolon's hairstyle, which I haven't been able to find for characters. Am I missing something (like it's from a Crown Crate), or is this a possible new thing?

The horses will fidget in the stables? AWESOME !!!!!

I love how the pets perform their idle behavior at home. (White wolf pup may be hard to see on the white bed covering.)

Anyways, they flipping added Research Time Reduction Scrolls to the Mastercraft Merchant's inventory in the PTS. I'd be much more excited if I wasn't already done with the "important" research on the Squad and Crafting Monkey, but I guess if it helps with getting Master Writs I'm glad. 'Course by the time the patch goes live I'll probably have everything I wanted so....eh....

Good for new crafters I guess. Reduce those nasty month-long research times to 15 provided you have the vouchers to purchase enough. (It's 24-hour reduction per scroll with a 20-hour cooldown)

So the fancy wear was kicked off by the female Breton outfits, which was followed by male Orc, Redguard and Imperial outfits to go with the related DLC. Now we got the male Breton and male ARGONIAN outfits. Does that mean that Murkmire is on the horizon? Maybe it means nothing? Either way, I'm probably getting the high Argonian male outift for Hates because reasons. (Although I have no idea what the female one looks like)

That said, I'm honestly surprised the Dunmer outfits weren't released first. Maybe they're coming with Morrowind? Good thing, since the female ones look atrocious while the male ones seem much more "Dunmer."

Today's normal maintenance update patch includes a new quest! It is a precursor for the MW expansion. You can pick it up in any inn. The initial quest giver tells you to go see the real quest giver in Wayrest. That's about all I know of it right now. Nice touch, I think, though I figure it will probably 'rest' for quite awhile. I'm nowhere near ready to start thinking about MW.

Ah, so that's who that guy was. Haa-Rei noticed the quest marker on his way through Kvatch, and spoke to the (naked) man who told us to go to Wayrest. I'll do it later today if I don't forget.

He has no voice, either. Considering the text glitch that came with the update, why did they think it was okay to put this in now? I see we finally got a new Daedric Prince's involvement foreshadowed outside of Mephala, even if she still was the main one being pushed.

So it looks like update 14 will go live on the 22nd and people who preordered Morrowind will be able to play it then as well. Everyone else will have to wait for 6/6 for Morrowind.

How...odd, especially in light of the recently released quest being buggy as hell.

EDIT: OH RIGHT FFXIV IS A THING AND IS RELEASING AN EXPANSION AT AROUND THE SAME TIME. They're also releasing early for preorders. yeesh

Whatever the case, IMHO, what we're getting isn't worth the price. I'll be waiting till the expansion goes on sale before I buy it.

The 22nd?!! Yay!!

I still have tons of content I want to do so am in no rush for more. So I'll join Monkey, I figure, and wait for MW to go on sale. If that takes another year or more that is fine - time to get it sorted, patched, unbugged etc.

Wait, Khajiit just read the first paragraph of the article on it at Beth.net and it says "those who ordered the Digital Upgrade version or 'such and such' Collectors Edition can play on 5/22.". Don't think Khajiit preordered either.

This is actually that weird quest that came up at the Mournhold Wayshrine (that I started and then abandoned at the time because it occurred in the middle of the Jester and Jubilee Festivals and I didn't have time to go hunt and kill 20 vile Daedra when I was partying so hard for banners and boxes! ) It is the exact same quest, just more people have noticed it now that there is nothing we would be giving up to follow it.

Originally a normal looking clothed woman stood at the wayshrine in Mournhold. I guess since she didn't attract enough attention; they changed the lure to a naked white-skinned man to catch the eye better; but it isn't the lure that was off before (it was their timing).

I've seen the naked man all over when I'm out and about now; in the banks, in the inns, etc.

(Misa did the quest, it was fun but I'm not going to bother with any other of my characters doing it since there isn't any special gift box at the end of it, lol).





That in-accessible mud tower is going to be a DLC from what I've heard.









Yeah !!!!!! I pre-ordered mine as soon as I heard that yesterday morning! It wasn't good timing financially, but - didn't want to be the last one on the block to have my Warden trooping through Davon's Watch with her bear and dog (and some stuff I can't mention till after the 22!!!)

AFTER I bought it my son offered it or Crowns as a Mothers Day present, so WOO HOO !!!!!! Get ready to meet Inga Lia the Warden at our next Guild meeting!






PS: I do love the history behind the Wardens that they have created, very cool storyline for them!

I suppose this means that the base game patch will hit at that time, which means the Hlaalu plan shoppers will see their price increase sooner. I wonder if we will get cheap respecs with this update. I have a feeling that this will be the last straw for my archers.

Yeah the Wardens seem really cool. Khajiit just looked at his email from steam about his Morrowind preorder (sounds so weird saying that again, lol) and it does say "upgrade" on it so this one is guessing that he will be able to start Brenna on the 22nd after all! Can't wait for you guys to meet her, she's going to be very fun!

Wait, was this in the PTS or on live? My Crafting Monkey is stationed in Mournhold and he never saw any new quest-givers while he was there. I will say that the quest was pretty obnoxious, though. Thankfully there's a farm full of Daedra near the Azura Abbey in Stormhaven, but going from delve to delve wasn't that great until we hit the new one.

Anyways, depending on how I feel I might get the expansion after all. Not just because of the motifs and furnishings I'd be missing out on, but the fact that my sister wants to pay me back for something by buying me the expansion. :V

Hell. Yeah.

It was live, for one day only a couple months back. When I abandoned the quest, the questgiver never showed up again at the wayshrine after that. It may have been a slip up; but it was there. I asked several people while I started the quest, but when I saw how involved it was becoming I just finally dropped it during the "kill 20 daedra" section.

This time I was smart = just traveled to Coldharbour for the daedra, lol.

So does anyone know what (if any) motifs will be released with Morrowind? This one is guessing the various bonemolds, chitin, netch leather, and possibly a Morag Tong inspired one.

Buoyant Armiger, Ashlander, Militant Ordinator and Morag Tong. I already got my motif checklist filled in with these four. :U

I could be wrong but Ashlander already exists in-game, Buoyant Armiger I expect to be a better version of Glass, Militant Ordinator's...well, you got me. I think it's that neat looking one with the grill helmet. Too bad I'll have to buy this one since it's bought with Alliance Points. Morag Tong's self-explanatory.

None of the Great House bonemolds?

'S the only four mentioned on the PTS patch notes. I imagine if the different bonemold styles exist, they'll be made craftable down the road.

With the system as is, Khajiit is not sure how they would do different bonemolds. This one is guessing they would do Telvanni, Redoran, and Hlaalu motifs and the bonemold items would be the medium armor.

There'll probably be a lot more info about styles and such once the NDA lifts and people can talk about Morrowind properly.

So do we know if Vvardenfell will be broken into regions, or will it be one big open world space?
