Where do you have to go get them?

Dailies in the Clockwork City. Khajiit thinks one of the daily sets is a dungeon one.

There's a world boss and a delve daily, but IIRC the delve dailies aren't unlocked until you do the associated quests? Also I THINK the motif dropped is based on whether you get the Imperfect/Halls of Regulation (Apostle) or the Crow Wraiths/Shadow Cleft (Ebonshadow).

The third daily, which has you gather crafting materials in the CWC, tends to vary. I never really cared to check what kind of reward crate you got from each of the gathering quests. :v

There's also a fourth daily that you get after progressing to a certain point in the main quest but I cannot stress how pointless it is to do those should you have access to them.

Supposedly the Orc guy, Razgurug, in Slagtown can provide a motif chapter for his gathering dailies.

For the CWC daily delves it is easy to open them up by doing the simple quest you get as you approach each delve. Both questgivers are just outside their respective delves and both quests are inside the delves. Then you can go see Novice Holli (northeast of and very close to the Brass Fortress wayshrine) and she'll give you dailies.

I did the Crow quest with Britta, so that would have limited me with her; I'll have to make sure to take the next character the other way.

Delves should be okay; I thought he might mean we had to do the Asylum or something.

Yeah, I didn't buy them all at once myself = shopped for the best prices and bought a few pieces at a time over a period of weeks to a month. (which is about how I've done most of the motif sets I've learned).

Well, you missed out on the Priest Hole = 100,000 every three days per character. (unfortunately, ZOS closed it this year ).

But if you ever decide you want to make serious in-game money = Trade Guilds are the quickest/easiest way to do it. (and they work for you while you are offline, lol).

Yeah, Khajiit actually found one called Dark Alliance that has really lenient rules and no dues. This one has been building up our treasury little by little selling gold improvement mats.

That is my biggest seller too.

Biggest problem is that we are selling more than we are resupplying, so eventually we are going to have to have a day devoted completely to gathering. Which sucks.

I do one hour (Farming) every morning on my highest level character. She does seven Daily Writs first (which takes about 5-7 minutes tops to do them all); then does her daily farming run for one hour. (if she has any Surveys, she does them during this hour). Plus = spend the skill points in getting that "Hireling" if you have any extra skill points; because we get gold mats from them every day and once even got Aetherial Dust from them!

Mira has max tier hirelings in all three gear crafting disciplines and only rarely gets a gold improvement item. Honestly, the game can be so inconsistent, smh.

You are kidding! I wonder what the criteria is for the RNG on getting gold mats by the Hirelings? Out of my 8 characters only 5 get Hirelings (they get all available hirelings). Only one of them is below level 50 = I get at least one gold temper per type equipment per day. (and at least once got Aetherial Dust).

Mira and Brenna are currently the only characters with hirelings (Brenna is our main enchanter, provisioner, and alchemist). Khajiit will be putting more points into Razak’s (who is a master craftsman across all skills) crafting skills so hopefully things will get better.

Black Fredas Crown Store sale ongoing till Nov 27. Lots of stuff for sale but what caught my eye was that both the merchant and banker are on sale for 3.5k vs their normal 5k. I've had both for some time and am pleased with them. Don't think I've ever seen them on sale though.

Just remember they do have some limitations:
Merchant: Won't go into Cyrodiil. Can't repair gear.
Banker: Won't go into Cyrodiil. Can't access guild banks - just your own personal bank.

On the other hand, they will share their services with anyone you are grouped with and can also be positioned in your homes if you like.

Yes, I've never seen them discounted before either - seriously considering gifting them to my son's game!

So the CWC event ends in a few hours today. I found this official snip on the next tix & feathers event:

Undaunted Celebration Event: November 29 – December 5
To earn Event Tickets during the Undaunted Celebration Event, you must complete a dungeon (Normal or Veteran). You will receive three Event Tickets from the final boss of the first dungeon you complete in addition to the normal rewards. You don’t have to be in a random dungeon LFG group to earn your Event Tickets!

Of interest, it seems the Undaunted daily delve quests don't count.

Khajiit already has enough tickets to get the feather so our crew won’t be participating unless someone wants to invite us along.

I have no interest in the Indrik, so none in the tickets or feathers, but the Undaunted itself would make us want to join in. Orbs and the passives are more of a draw, and the dailies are a slow grind compared to the dungeons.

Alise just squeaked in the last CWC daily before the event shuts down (in 15 min). So we have 2 feathers and 6/12 tix atm. Not bad considering I missed the CWC dailies the first weekend.

Darn it, if they restrict it to the Pledge dungeons then my son's characters won't do well in this event. Only one of them is a high enough level to participate (and she is not strong enough DPS to be of any use to a group (or survive a boss fight, lol). He only needs two more tickets to get the third feather, though (so might have to make it up in the New Life Festival).

Isn’t there one for low level dungeons? This one is sure people here wouldn’t mind carrying one of your son’s characters through a dungeon.

He will only have to go through one of them on Normal mode to get the third feather; but would most def need to be carried by a good group through it. Maybe a baby one like Fungal Grotto would be good. His main character was carried through a random normal for the Witches Festival event; but I can't remember who I begged to take her through it that actually said yes, lol.

If you can't find a good group, there's always Chorrolites!

Buffy will be around during the event and will be happy to support or even carry those who might need it through some of the non-DLC normal dungeons. She can solo about half a dozen of them so should be able to help anyone get through normal Fungal Grotto 1 or a few of the other easier ones.

And that time span includes the Guild meet, so I think I know what the group activity is going to be! Can we leverage the rules by swapping characters and doing one on each?

First Friday of the month falls on 7 Dec so it is outside this event. That said, we could certainly consider moving the meeting back a week (to 30 Nov) or scheduling some special dungeon events during this Undaunted event.

Not that doing a pledge is required to get the event tix, but some days have easier pledges than others. Specifically, the pledges available on 1, 3 and 5 December offer some of the easier dungeons:

1 Dec Maj offers Banished Cells 1.
3 Dec Maj offers Spindleclutch 1 and Redbeard offers City of Ash 1.
5 Dec Maj offers Elden Hollow 1. Since this is the event's last day, we'd need to make sure and get it done before the event's ending time (not sure when).

I could work with any of those but might toss out 1 Dec as my first choice. Very comfy in BC1 and being a Saturday might offer more flex for more folks.

Alternatively, we could just ignore pledges and pick a day/time that is good for us and simply run Fungal Grotto 1 - and more than once if we needed to in order to cycle through characters.

Ack! I was looking at the January calendar. Still, a "special event" (or several) may be a good idea.

Fair Warning = My son's main character uses the Fighters Guild Leash as her main weapon because one-handed I can't move around in combat = so it brings the enemies to her. (Some people don't like playing with anyone using a Leash or Chain because it can interrupt a Tank's taunt or move an enemy right after an AoE is dropped).









Either way would be Awesome for my son's game; boy would I appreciate the help!









If I'm not mistaken, the Event Tickets are account-wide; so it doesn't matter which character you do them with, the Event Ticket will be added to your Currency for your whole/entire account).

Update: Found a bit more info:
1. Event begins and ends at 10:00 AM eastern US time on the 29th and 5th.
2. There are also 'special reward boxes' you can earn by running a random dungeon via the group finder. I won't be going near that as I won't do 'random' dungeons.

Jerric plans to attempt Fungal Grotto 1 every day with any help he can get. Lildereth wants a magical mount. He managed to get 8 tickets from the end of the Clockwork event, so he’s close to his second feather.

I like Grits' plan - nice and simple. Normal FG1 x1/day. Lol. Buffy will keep her (big) ears open for exactly that.

I'm up for joining that too!

So the Undaunted event kicks off soon. This event's feather is the Onyx feather. Most of us should already have the Emerald and Gilded feathers. Buffy's tix stack is a full 12/12 right now so her first order of business is to make room for more event tix by buying the Onyx feather as soon as the event opens.

I could envision someone (probably a short elf with big ears) in a hurry with 12/12 tix charging into a group dungeon for more tix then having an "Oh, Imp Chips!" moment when they loot the final boss' corpse for their 3 event tix only to find out their tix stack is still capped at 12. I could also envision the same elf buying the wrong feather since the old ones remain on sale for any who need to catch up.
