Yep, those are the ones. I love that Wild Hunt Guar, and the Sabre Cat mount.

I've also seen some skeleton mounts too, which look like they may be from another future crown crate season.


Anyway - I fixed my problem today. Well, worked around it at least. I just have to use a separate browser for ESO stuff. I'm still going to keep prodding the support bots to fix my original problem so I can use my preferred browser, but at least I can get some crowns now if I need them.

Yeah, I was panicking wondering how/if I was going to get a Crown stash before housing was released! Congrats on getting a workaround, I know that had to be a relief!

Yeah, well I do still think it was a bad move to announce it 6 days before housing is released, because everyone who would have sunk a bunch of dollars into Crowns to buy houses with will now be saving for Morrowind instead - bad marketing planning; and probably because they need the pre-order dollars to be able to complete the project.

But that doesn't subtract from how awesome this expansion is going to be !!!!

Right? When everyone wants to be the first to have a furnished house so they break down and buy the furnished Crown Store ones? They just kind of shot their own selves in the foot with the timing on this, even though both are awesome.

I disagree. This announcement has had a huge amount of interest, so it might actually have attracted new players to the game just in time for housing. Now that they're using Bethesda's twitch channel, they're getting more publicity than before. No way in Oblivion will a new player be able to afford a house with in-game gold, they'll have to get crowns.

The expansion cannot be bought with crowns or ESO+.

Correct. They're marketing it as an 'expansion' rather than DLC so it won't be covered by ESO+. A little cheeky if you ask me, though it seems to be a pretty huge slab of content so it likely cost quite a lot to develop.

Well that's a bummer. Doesn't make a lot difference to this one honestly (don't foresee a problem affording it), but one reason Khajiit got + was because he was under the impression new DLC would be automatically included.

Just from what I saw in the vid = most def cost a bundle to develop. They are touting it to be as big as a new/separate game might be. And I haven't even played all of ESO yet, so will probably hold off on buying it for a sale - but will put it on my gift "Wish List" too, since my Birthday is coming up in February, lol. (Hint hint to my sons...)









DLC are included; but expansions - especially one this huge = it is the size of a separate game. It will make Wrothgar look like a spit in the ocean from what they are saying.

Actually, Mira has been wanting a nice nordish dress for when she is out and about in chilly places like Eastmarch or the Rift. The Imperial dresses are nice but not really suited for Skyrims climate.

The Homestead Imperial styles terminology confuses me. What are they calling the Gold Coast style these days? It looked like that’s what they used in the pre-furnished Colovian houses, not matching the house style at all. At least they have named the areas in the Nibenese pack description. That should help clear things up. I have seen people calling the Gold Coast style Nibenese. Or maybe the Homestead houses are going to be called Nibenese now? Time will tell I suppose.

Agreed. Haa-Rei loves baggy clothes, but Cirinwe wants something a little sleeker.

The Crown Store seems to always have more Imperial and Redguard clothes than you can shake a longsword at - I would love to see more racial styles.

And the housing packs = really hope they will have sets of other race's furniture available, not just the Nibanese stuff - and it makes me wonder if they will be offering different racial sets per month or something. Like maybe we'd have to wait months to buy the racial sets we want?

I hope they will still offer buying individual furnishings like they have been doing on the PTS, because I prefer to pick and choose my own items rather than buying in bundles like that.

Interesting, he said "classes" in that message. Do you folks think they plan to add other classes besides the Warden or is he just speaking generally about what chapters could contain?

Oooh, I wonder what the "Content based" DLC in December will be? Clockwork City? Or will that be next year's "Chapter?"











They have a need for a better Mystic Archer build; and I really would like to see some of the other Classes able to summon combat pets in this game - or a way to balance out Nightblades between their stam and magic needs without them getting so squishy they can't survive a hit.

I took that to mean other classes might happen. I think it will be a while, however. Balancing five classes against each other will be interesting.

I like the move to expansion-sized Chapters along with regular DLC. Maybe some day we will even see a separate PvE Cyrodiil without PvP messing up the fun. To me that part of the map is pretty much wasted now.

That's one of the things I've been asking for since day one - such a waste of a zone, and it wouldn't take much work on Zeni's part to make it PvE only (probably).

I've only had to PvP a few times while down there, mostly just been jumped and killed while fighting environmental enemies in a dungeon - but I've only been killed about 7-8 times or so, and I've killed 8 Players too = but still managed to get every skyshard down there except one behind Aldmeri gates. That is a whopping number of added skill points, and was well worth the trip.
