Got Summerset and with a little help from Haute, Khajiit was able to pick up the pathfinder achievement with Feng-Do (yes Khajiit is aware the deadline for actually helping increase the percentage is over, but it didn’t feel right to not do the work and get the achievement).

She showed this one where the house is and the place is nothing short of amazing. It’s crazy we all get that for free! Khajiit’s crew of barbarians won’t know what to do with the place, lol

By the way, does anyone know/remember if there was a pre-quest for Summerset? I just bounced over there to nab the house with my main character; but I do like having at least one character do the pre-quests because they usually give you a memento for them. (so hoped to send one of my other characters through it). Problem is, I don't remember seeing one, so don't know where to find it!

There was a prequel quest, but it wasn't a pre-requisite. "Through a veil darkly" was the name, and some of my characters have done it, even though I don't have Summerset. I don't remember if there was a memento.

It may have been removed after the release, as it was pushed on the character whenever they went to the Mages Guild, (if memory serves), and that hasn't happened for a while.

IIRC it was a quest with Vanus Galerion and a Wyrd lady, can't remember which memento we got for it but I'm almost certain there was one (as with all pre-quest things)

You need to enter the Mages Guild in Daggerfall, Vulkhel Guard, or Davon's Watch to start it.

If he's not there, I'd assume the quest was taken out.

Yeah, that's what I meant. One one hand the guaranteed drop from specific bosses is fantastic, but on the other I really don't have the energy to chase down bosses I don't normally go for. Maybe this will make them pretty common, at least, meaning cheap.

Poor Lucius had to demean himself in various ways for one (1) pet component and one Murkmire bowl. Not really seeing much of a reason to do these daily, tbh.

In other news, I'm making an effort to get Ruben to level 50 so he can gather his own damn Platinum. He's already hit 40, but if previous experience with Lucius is any indication, it'll be the hardest to level through.

I also might spring for the Gladiator costume at the current price (lowest being 1.3 mil). I figure if everyone put in like 135k of their gold, they'll get it. (Although I'm not sure Ruben will have much gold to spare)

About the Dremora Plunder Skulls: you can only get them from bosses and each type of boss (there are 7 different types; dolmens, final dungeon boss, trials, etc.) only drops one per day. You are guaranteed to get a Dremora Plunder Skull from the first of each type of boss you kill in a given day (for a total of up to 7 Dremora Plunder Skulls per day). Also the Dremora Plunder Skull that each boss type drops will contain a specific type of chapters, so you won’t be getting a Dremora chest chapter from world bosses, for instance. You will only get whatever chapter type world bosses are programmed to drop. Because of this, Khajiit doubts he will be able to get many of the Dremora motif chapters.

Thank Cernunnos. Makes Khajiit nervous that they are giving us two tickets though. Probably means the next feather is going to require twice as many tickets. This one is currently pushing through the Vvardenfell questline with our crafty Dwemer/Dunmer in preparation for the Clockwork City event.
