I wonder if decorations extend to the "account-wide" aspect of the homes or if you have to re-furnish the same home when you're on another character. For something like the attuneable crafting stations, account-wide would be very, very useful. Goodbye long, horrifying hike to the Armor Master crafting station, even if I got AP randomly while hiding out in the district. ('Course I still need to get 3 blank attuning stations to get all 3 of them)

But...omg, I'm really anticipating the changes to crafting. Stackable motifs? Master Writs? Aetherial Psijiic Ambrosia components in exchange for Vouchers? Frick yes.

I guess since the PTS just released the update we'll be getting some more details on the patch soon.

No. Assassins League requires Tainted Blood (dropped rarely when using the Blade of Woe to kill an NPC) and Dro-m'Athra requires Defiled Whiskers (dropped by bosses in the Maw of Lorkhaj).

Both styles have been in the game for a while, this is just the first time they've been added to the crown store.

I was worried that the small homes would be too small, but it looks like they're all decent sizes. The Argonian and Bosmer style homes in particular are nice and cosy. Anything above medium size seems more fit for a guild!

I agree about the home sizes. Jerric and Darnand will happily start with a tavern room to get the hang of building and decorating, and while the large homes look amazing, I'm the most excited about some of the small and medium ones.

Much to my shock, my main PS4 guild got a Daggerfall trader and sold all of my expensive stuff. This means I am suddenly close to a large house budget, but I expect that the crew will want multiple small and medium ones to work into their stories. The PC gang is in the small house range. They will have to be patient and choose carefully.

On the plus side, with a price of 1,000 Crowns I won't have to see that beard or that hairstyle on characters very much.

Aninah went on a shopping spree this morning, and nothing she bought was over 500 Crowns. I think that the new beard and hair are not meant to appeal to a broad market and are priced to reflect that. The elk mount (which is still pretty awesome) served as a quasi-loyalty reward for long-term subscribers who had tons of Crowns in their accounts, but also available to anyone else who didn't mind paying for it. Just like that blue disco cat mount that came before it. With a subscription my Crown balance is already back up enough that I don't miss the elk Crowns, but there's no way I would have spent $45 for it, or even whatever it would be with the Crown sales. On the other side of the price range there's a new fast-leveling scroll for 40 Crowns, the dye sets are inexpensive, and of course the intro price to get hooked on Crown Crates is still low. It seems to me that they are trying for customers in every spending bracket, not just making everything expensive. Anyway, that's my admittedly optimistic take on the situation.

Also they need to get people used to small transactions so that they will spend Crowns on many different housing things and not think of the total that they are spending. Kind of how people started off just buying one Crown Crate and ended up spending over a hundred dollars only to get a storm mount that now they are embarrassed to use. I really hope that the faction within the company that seems to have a background in casinos and Facebook games falls out of favor.

Where do you pick up "daily" quests? Do these include crafting writs?

I just noticed last night that they brought the Jubilee cake back on the PTS. I did the quest for the cake, but never got any notice of further celebration. Hmmm, maybe I'll do a daily quest and see if it nets me a prize box !!!

Okay, I did 6 Writs tonight and got 6 Jubilee Gift Boxes! Mostly just mats, but I did get two purple motifs! So the answer is YES, we will get the Gift Boxes for doing daily Writs! WOO HOO !!!!


Also, a word of caution = changing the name on your account will most def effect some things in game, such as Guild memberships. So if you do change your name, stay on top of all your business and make sure it is changed where you have interests. I would suggest writing to the Guild founder and let them know it is you and your name has changed.

Thanks for the heads up on the name change repercussions, I'll check my Guild status the next time I'm in game. I can get on long enough to deal with mail, but with no mouse and no controller there's not much else I can do at the moment. Fortunately the other Guilds I'm in seem to still need warm bodies, so maybe I'll be safe for a while.

Crown House Pricing for unfurnished houses:

Apartments: 1,000 Crowns

Small: 3,100-4,000 Crowns

Medium: 5,000-6,500 Crowns

Large: 7,500-8,500 Crowns

Manors: 10,000 Crowns


A Dev friend of mine said the Crown prices for furnished would probably be double the unfurnished price for them. If so, this is a lot lower than he predicted it would be.

That is the exact same problem I was having = couldn't upgrade to a Plus membership or buy Crowns because it was showing me at a different IP address than they had registered my account on (and my email had changed so they couldn't send me a confirmation verification email).
