Khajiit’s crew got their free crown crates a day early it seems. Items received worth noting includes a Skyfire Guar mount and a Pyandonean Maces motif chapter.

Haven't checked for mine yet, but I have the reverse Murphy going. I actually want gems, so I can buy the Nocturnal statue. That means the crates now have to give me decent stuff, so I don't get gems.

The log-in reward crates should also happen this coming weekend, so the RNG AI is going to have to work hard to deny me!

I also got the Pyandonean Maces, plus got the Pyandonean Legs. (I like them real well) - plus I got the Psijic Bear mount, a stamina horse training scroll. With the gems I already had and what I got today = 100 gems! So I had a pretty good haul this time!

Sleek Creek turned out to be a great place for me = close to Fighters and Mages Guilds, close to bank, close to Guild traders, close to wayshrine, close to all crafting stations, close to merchants, and best of all = has a completely guard-free path with very close access to the Outlaw Refuge!

It became one of my favorite houses very quickly; especially since I could fast travel to it when I had a high bounty and sneak right out the back door to the Outlaw refuge to fence my ill-gotten gains!

OK, so now I've checked my crates. Does "nasal rods" sum it up?

Plus a mount, a pet, a costume, and a chapter of Pyandonean, but I really wanted more gens!

On the other hand, that lion was only available once - for four days back in April last year - so this gives hope for the bear sometime in the future.

I went to look in the gem section of the Crown Store, to check the price of the Nocturnal Statue, but the Scalecaller stuff is still there.

Oooh! Nice! I haven't looked at my bear yet, it is the Psijic one (which I think is white with a brown raggedy oversized saddle cloth tied over its fur. I'll know when I get it pulled out tomorrow.

Of course, Unna can never get the bear she really wants, because they've never made one available without a saddle. However, we were glad not to get the Frostbane one, that gets even more stuff draped over it, or the Psijic one that you can see through.

She's tried approaching the ones on Bleakrock, but they were uniformly hostile to the idea of being ridden.

So she'll make do with the brown one for now, even though he does go off and hide whenever there's trouble. Hopefully by the Third Era, training will have advanced to the point where the bear's an ally and not just a mount.

Okay, I saw the one that I got in the crate = it is the Psijic see through one. It isn't completely opaque, and does look white, but has a vapor coming off it. The saddle is a pretty one, with a gorgeous blue blanket with gold trim.

You should write to the Crown Store under the "Suggestions" tab and request a barebacked white bear mount.

Is that an in-game thing? It might get a different audience than the forums.

Yes, it is in game. I'll look today and see if I can find where it is; but they encourage suggestions for things you want for Crown Store items.

So Khajiit thought the Fang lair and Fanged worm motifs were supposed to be available in the Crown Store now?

Yeah, they put them in for under 10 minutes before they kind of pulled them emergency style = some error with the Crown Store ones that made it where they can't be activated after you pay for them. From what I hear, the ones in the dungeons are working right; but the crafting stations hadn't been updated with them = though that may be fixed, since my add-on is showing them now.

There's a thread about that on the ESO forums. They were there, and people bought them, but found that if you learned Scalecaller, it stopped you from learning Fang Lair. It all worked the other way round (the way it was tested - in alphabetical order). They took it back down to fix it.

The good news is the motifs now drop in the dungeons, and the chapters have no issues, just the complete books in the Crown Store. I think if anyone found the book in game, it would work, too.

Since Unna only wants the Fang Lair/Worm chest, we'll wait until prices stabilise and maybe just buy that.

So apparently ZOS has given their official blessing for trading in-game gold for Crown Store gifts between players. They even said they'd step in when someone's scammed, at least in some cases. Hmmmm, makes me anxious, ngl (current exchange rate is 600k gold for around 3k crowns lol)

That is what I understood the "Gifts" was opening us up to as well.

Oh wow, I see a lot that I like. Finally a proper length tunic without puffy, jutting, or bulging areas! The white shirt costume looks like it has a nice trim fit. I have high hopes. (Please no pointy-toed boots!) The Reeve formal attire looks like something Darnand would wear for adventuring. Spymaster without the cat head got Lil’s attention. I think the painted wolf looks beautiful. But most of all, I NEED that horse!!

It looks like Spymaster is the only limited time item that I want. *fingers crossed*

Khajiit didn't buy the Fang Lair motif before did he? It appears that if you buy it now, it works, but if you had the old bugged one, you're still hosed. The whole account has the problem, not just the character who tried to read the book.

Still watching the price of the chests chapter. It's on the TTC front page as a popular one, which isn't good for the price, but the working CS book should act as a limit on that. If I got a writ that needed it, I might even buy the book, now my ESO+ has renewed, and I have Crowns again.

Just bought a Fang lair helmets chapter for 65,000 gold

Damn. I went to Mournhold, Wayrest, and Elden Root and found only one FL Chest chapter for 500k gold.

TTC price for chests has gone up and down a bunch recently. 500k is tops, but it has been seen at 168k, now best is around 355k again. I'm expecting the sum of the parts won't exceed 1M gold, as that roughly equates to the Crowns price for the whole motif, and most would just spend those instead at that point. It hasn't been dropping from the dungeon for long, so demand is greater than supply for a while. We can wait. (I was going to add "barely" but you know what I mean).

Yeah, Brenna (who would be the primary wearer of FL Chest) is currently doing the Aldmeri Dominion alliance quests for Cadwell’s Silver. FL isn’t really a motif that fits in well with the Dominion themes so we are ok waiting for now. Will definitely be looking again closer to time for her to start the Ebonheart Pact quests.

Oh, hey, the Wolfhunter DLC is on the PTS now. Only interesting thing for me will be checking out the Skill Reset 2.0

Oh, I did hear another skill reset was coming soon. Urgh.

It's actually pretty great. The cost is still the same (based on how many skill points you've spent, though I imagine we'll get a reduced one on launch as always?) but they made it so it works like Champion Points now, so you can add/remove skills individually and swap between morphs instantly.

Yes, being able to change just the skills we wanted to instead of all of them will be SO much better! But what tweaking are they doing in our characters always worries me,

PTS Patch Notes

So the good news is that Crafting Writs are FINALLY being fixed. It looks like they're reducing the amount of things you need to craft to fulfill the equipment writs (matching the max tier ones) which is great because the inspiration gained from crafting things was almost meaningless. Max tier provisioning is FINALLY FIXED. That said I haven't tried these yet.

Now for the bad news: 1. the furnishing plan farming area in Traitor's Vault is being nerfed (gross). 2. The Welkynar motif grind is the most disgusting thing I have every seen. Much worse than Glass. Time to raise a stink.

Also that Gladiator costume is pretty cool. I hope the runebox can be sold cause I want one. :v

UPDATE: It SEEMS like max tier Provisioning Writs are finally limited to the actual max tier stuff, but then I only had 3 characters test it today. Dravean, Eolan, and Fjotreid each got one of the three cp150 recipes for the writs. I wonder if that means that the cp110 stuff will suddenly become more rare and expensive again, like it was a month or so after Wrothgar.

I also tested the lower tier equipment writs. They're the same as the max ones

I foresee Darkness Eternal loving that Hircine's Great Hunt (the March of Sacrifices dungeon) = that one sounds like a segment from his story!

I also see him wanting to get that home in Hircine's Hunting grounds, where he can retain his werewolf form as long as he is there!!!

March of Sacrices does sound like much like the Hunting Grounds story I wrote down to the cottages where hunters rest. I’m so excited for this! The new lore content is great and I’ve watched the quest video some players already posted.

I’ll definetly buy the Hunter’s Glade and spend some cash(and time) decking the whole place out. I love the look of it. It’s not as extravagant or over-the-top like other Oblivion Realms. Hircine is more grounded in his tastes and yet it’s enough look not so Tamrielic. I guess this is the first DLC I’m excited for!

I love the new changes they are making to the Werewolf skill line too, and with that new set made just for WW characters (with the + 600 damage for 6 seconds or something = being a WW is finally going to be beastly-overpowered! I might get one of my characters turned into a WW now, lol. Maybe Bubba. I'm dying to see the new personality you get from finishing that dungeon!

Eolan cured his lycanthropy a long time ago, so I probably won't get to try that out. Honestly most of this update outside of the crafting improvements will be of no consequence for me. :v

Also, today I went and checked exactly how much they nerfed Traitor's Vault, and it turns out they make most of the wardrobes empty. bleh. I guess the temple in Shimmerene it is for furnishing plan farming. (Probably not as effective tbh, but there are plenty of containers in a small area)

Just saw the datamine for next crate season. They're taunting Unna with a white bear, but with a black face and feet. Ugh!

Still, no flames, explosions when you mount etc. ... probably.

The dark paws could always be mud or dirt from all that running around...but that furless black face popping out of the thick white fur kind of reminds me of ...

I watched a preview of the Hunter’s Glade house, and it looks amazing! Like something straight out of DE’s stories. Wow! Is it Crowns only? (Do we know that yet?)
