I want to say this to you and to all of you whose donations have helped make these tables for the guild possible: Acadian; Grits; Monkey; Gosse; Haute; Khajiit; Hazmick; etc:

Thank you so very much for all your help in making our Guild Hall so Awesome!!!!! I really hope when you look around there or do crafting or building your character up there that you realize your own role in our Guild Hall's success; because I may be the one placing those tables = but all of you made those tables possible too.

(so: Thank You all so much!!!!)

Khajiit has 7 more vouchers in his bank from a writ he was actually able to complete. He tried to put it in the guild bank but it wouldn’t let him. Is it possible to deposit vouchers directly into the guild bank?

No, they are bound currency. But thank you for trying!

Nothing's been suggested. Buffy will hope someone plays music for her to dance to of course. She will also bring her medicine pouch and lead us out to one of her fave WBs (Short Tusk in western Deeshan) if no one has better ideas and feels like killin' some stuff. tongue.gif

Anyone else having any suggestions too? Skyshard runs for lower characters? A murder spree? A dueling tourney? A fashion show? A pet parade? Fishing? Getting drunk? A throwing up contest?

Oh yeah. Very. Well, I've done Mazzatun on normal mode with a good group; but they all said it would be over my head to do it on Veteran mode. Mazzatun isn't that expensive, really (if you buy it by the pieces like I've had to do when I got master writs calling for it, lol). What comes from the Bloodroot Forge?

laugh.gif I saw that mug and just knew Jerric would love it!

Oh, I very nearly put Hundings in first of the Alliance sets; but decided it would be better to just do it in alphabetical order to help my own self keep track of which I had or hadn't done yet; lol. Then Haute asked me the other day if Hundings was next; and I couldn't remember if there was another set between Hist and Hundings, rollinglaugh.gif

It is slow getting this second table for Hist Bark. Haven't had time to rob the priests; sales are down; and I needed to spend some on Motifs to do some of the Master Writs.

But = by the time I get the gold together to buy the second Hist Bark table; I'll also have enough vouchers for the third table. Haute has donated a bunch of vouchers this week; and with what I've picked up doing my own Writs right now we are sitting at 172 vouchers and/or 170,000 gold (some of which was donated by Acadian) toward the next table; so we should finish out Hist Bark very quickly and be on to Hundings very soon.

TheCheshireKhajiit
How does it determine if you get a Master Writ? Is it random? Mira hasn’t gotten one since the 7 voucher one either last week or the week before.

Well, according to Gina Bruno your chances increase by how much research you have done and how many COMPLETED styles you have learned. There is some variable factors like how many daily Writs you do with how many characters; and the extent of their learned knowledge vs how many sets are out in the world.

That means that there is a "Sweet Spot" you can hit where these criteria all meet perfectly to give you the maximum level of Master Writs and vouchers = this was running completely opposite of what they said right up until that patch two months ago.

According to Zen; every time they add new styles to learn to the game world; it supposedly increases the Master Writ drop rate for everyone = Again, I've noticed a complete opposite effect in this as well.

I think whatever Zen THINKS the criteria is; some Dev miscalculated something somewhere and it is totally skewed from what they say.

A couple months ago (a few weeks before Clockwork City dropped) they said in the Patch Notes that the Patch was supposed to "Fix the drop rate on Master Writs." = And it worked!!! For about 2-3 weeks suddenly I was getting Master Writs galore with huge Voucher numbers on them! Then they added Clockwork City and the numbers dropped to nothing again.

Right now that drop in Master Writs and Voucher numbers since Clockwork City came out still remains; but I'm still getting more Master Writs now than I ever did before that Patch a couple months ago (Thank Goodness!).

So yeah, Zen Devs have probably miscalculated something again. In other words, "Everything is working as intended..."

Khajiit doesn’t like this. More writs based on what your other characters know? All characters aren’t artisans so that = poo. It should be purely based by individual characters not your whole crew. With this system, Mira is punished because Feng is inept with a hammer and anvil or because Brenna can’t sew a straight stitch. Oh well, hopefully more will drop and Khajiit will deposit them into the Guild Bank!

So Khajiit will be working on getting Brenna up to Lvl50. So please, if you are doing any group activities and would like someone along for dps and modest healing potential, invite her along.

Well Mira did well today! I had never done that dungeon before; so had no clue what we were facing; only knew it was hard from what I'd heard on TeamSpeak. I was really surprised we actually made it through!

Yeah, Khajiit thoroughly enjoyed it! With a decent team, this one is thinking Falkreath is probably not that tough (the hardest part was just a simple matter of finding out what to do). We had a good team today (even though Mira was handicapped by not being able to use pierce armor). Big props to the healer who kept us in fighting shape when things got chaotic.

Oh yeah, that fight would have been 100 times worse if the boss had gone feral; which they will do if more than one person taunts them. I appreciate Mira backing off and letting Britta tank that dungeon; because Britta doesn't have near the DPS that Mira does and would have been useless if not tanking. It is about the only thing Britta is good for; and she still died several times when I couldn't get to my healing bar in time.

Thank you, mALX!

Another nice get together at our guild hall this evening. Jerric and his harem of Buffy, Sidra, Britta, Brenna (and later Mira instead) were there. We had a nice time just chatting, sipping wine and dancing to some nice lute music. Sidra, Jerric and Mira had to leave bit early.

Britta and her pocket healer (Buffy) went out, found two more adventurous souls of the dps persuasion and did a group dungeon! Dear Britta wanted to make sure that Buffy got one of those gift boxes during the current group dungeon event. All four characters did their respective jobs well and I’m pleased to report the dungeon crawl a success!

As ever, so nice to get together with friends. happy.gif

Khajiit has severely limited Mira’s combat abilities because this one intended for her to be a straight up warrior and craftsperson. The special class abilities are powerful but Khajiit thinks they feel too magical in nature (even the ones that are stam morphed; toxic breath, giant dragon claws? Definitely not Mira’s style.), so her offense comes entirely from the one hand and shield skill abilities (namely pierce armor, low slash, shield bash, and shield charge). This does not make for an optimal fighter in this game, but she can solo most content well enough. Though she really needs a team behind her when taking on dungeons and big bosses, Mira is a soldier and doesn’t mind relying on help from her comrades in arms to tackle these objectives.

Well that’s ok, we’ll catch you next time! We really should try to get together some time during the New Life Festival. Maybe run the holiday dailies as a guild then head back to the guild hall and open our goody boxes. Just a thought, but I know it’s hard getting everyone on at the same time.

That dungeon was a bear; I feel lucky that we made it through because I know many that it took several tries of giving up and returning another day to finally get through. Of course, that was before you could Google that 2nd to last boss's mechanics to figure out what you have to do there, lol.

Acadian and I did Crypt of Hearts last night; and it was another dungeon that the mechanics of one boss had all of us guessing on how to tackle her. I've done that one before, but with a group that knew exactly how to handle that 2nd to last fight. And I couldn't remember how to save my life without them there to tell me, urk. But we made it through by trial and error without giving up; and that is what was so Awesome about it!

What is the deal with them making the 2nd to the last boss the hardest in some of these dungeons?

I'm really proud of the job Buffy and Acadian did healing that dungeon; that had to be the hardest boss poor Buffy ever faced! I know she was the worst one Britta has!

I had company over last night, else I would have definitely joined you all. smile.gif And I am going to miss the next one because I'll be in Florida. laugh.gif

ALSO. What craft skill did everyone take? I've been leveling up Aravi's light armor crafting and alchemy skills. I would really like to drop one of those.

Misa and the 4 "Bank/Crafting Mules" do all 6 crafting disciplines at Master level; (actually one of them is still bringing up the Alchemy) = but Misa is the only real crafter as far as learning all the styles and traits (including Nirnhoned).

The 4 "Bank/Crafting Mules" just do the Writs daily for the income, Master Writs, and materials (not to mention for the "bank storage" their inventories provide). Any Master Writs they get are handed over to Misa for her to do the actual work.

The two Dragon Knights don't do any crafting at because their skill points are too preciously needed for their builds (and spread out way too far already in skills needed for Tanking). (so they escaped the sweat shop by being skilled warriors, rollinglaugh.gif )

So I could possibly trade Misa for armor and weapons?

I'm going to keep Aravi's alchemy skills because I like making poisons. biggrin.gif

As long as I have the materials needed, no trade needed (just ask and you shall receive!) If I don't have the materials, I might need you to provide them. (example: for early level characters, the materials are harder to get for a high level character).

The only exception to that rule: If you want Nirnhoned trait or a Prismatic enchantment; you do have to provide the Nirncrux or Hakeijo rune.

I meant to respond to this too: You and Aravi were so thought of last night at the Meet! We shared Aravi memories from when she used to travel with Vilja = remember the wine glass incident? Or Aravi's signature head shake? She was a major part of the Meet, even if she didn't make it last night!

Khajiit thinks that it is a tradition in gaming to make the second to last boss harder than the last, lol. This one can think of a few instances where this was true (please note that the following list is based on Khajiit’s personal experience. Experiences may differ)

Mortal Kombat- Goro was way harder than Shang Tsung.
Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time- Khajiit had a harder time with Ganondorf in his wizard form than his last one.
Super Castlevania IV- Death (grim reaper) was harder than Dracula.

Just a few examples.
