Back from our tavern event and loved it! Thank you all for showing up. I was quite surprised how fast time passed as we danced and chatted.

Indeed, it was awesome to see everyone! I think Ciri might have had a little too much wine.

If anyone has any suggestions for our next meeting place, let's hear it! Preferably somewhere in Pact or Dominion lands this time, but any nice inn or tavern will do.

EDIT: Oh, and if anyone would prefer a different time or day, give me a shout and we'll work something out. If not, our next meeting will be on the 3rd of March.

Another good option is no bard. Last time we had no bard. Haa-Rei playing the lute and Buffy dancing provided all the entertainment. Seriously, no bard better allows us to have our own characters practice their lute/flute/drum skills. So I'd be happy with either Malukah or no bard.

I also prefer no bard. But ... by next Guild event, we may be meeting in our houses instead of bars!

Feng was so pleased to meet everyone! Mira is sad she showed up too late to meet Buffy, but had a good time with the others before having to split. She will definitely be showing up at the next one, on time! Also quite surprising that between the two of them, it was Mira and not Feng who got in trouble with the law!

Jo'zira was glad to have met new people, even if I was too sleepy to convey that. (I was really snug and comfy)

But yeah, it'll be nice to be free of the bards. Geeze.

I was wondering (if we reach 10 members) if we will be getting a Tabard for our Guild - and if so; has anyone given any thought to what colors we would want it to be; what insignia; etc. Hazmick? Have you anything in mind?

Well shouldn't we sport the same colors that the Chorrol Guards do? If not, my vote is for red with black trim!

I hadn't considered it, but I imagine a tree motif (for Chorrol) would be the most suitable. For colours, we could vote on it.

With that said, 10 members is a lofty goal for our peaceful little community.

I haven't quite given up on it yet, because people will come; they will come ... (insert image of rows of headlights in the dark...)

Once we have a guild hall and the crafting set up - you can jump from anywhere to the house and do the crafting - even if you have a bounty on your head, and wait your bounty out here talking to friends. That is a big draw. Friends you play with may ask to join the Guild for that convenience alone; or we can always invite people that we enjoy playing with.

But if not, it is still Awesome for us!!!

Has anyone checked out the work I did on the Guild Hall today? Just a few minutes ago I added a bust from a dungeon (put it in the courtyard). It looks so good that I'm considering adding some more in there, lol. (especially since they are free decor, and the "Redguard Counter Grill" I had planned for there costs 950 crowns! )

It was dark blue with the oak silhouetted in white. Lovely really.

If we eventually get 10 members I’d vote for the Chorrol tree as the insignia. Oblivion Chorrol city colors are blue and white, but since blue is associated with the Daggerfall Covenant we might be better served with a neutral color. So my color choices would be green first, or the traditional Chorrol blue.

mALX, remember you can invite any of your friends to your beach house – they don’t have to be members of your guilds. My gamepad interface is different, but I’m pretty sure I could add people to my lists using the Friends menu.

No need to ask, this place is open for our whole guild to go to whenever they want; (whether I'm there or not doesn't matter, just go and enjoy it!).

Think of it kind of like our Guild's "Club" house. (like that house outside of Cheydinhal was for the "Knights of the Thorn."

Very rarely you may see someone from the TESAlliance site there checking out the decor, but their Guild has its own house to hang out at, so they never stay long (and actually, they usually come when I'm there, so may be just doing the "Travel to Player" feature).

Haha! As I just posted, I'm basically starting over fresh because of the server move. Not so bad, though, because I didn't actually get that far with anyone. My main character was one Khajiit (so Aldmeri Dominion, I haven't unlocked the every-race-per-alliance thing) sorcerer Jo'tasrin who was level 15 on Auridon and who I will probably have to recreate on the NA server (Tasrin-jo?) because she was so much fun. I posted a snippet of her adventures and how she single-handedly converted me to crime in the Today in TESO thread.

(I'm really not kidding about the "single-handedly converted me to crime" bit. I just woke up with Jamie, saw a crate belonging to someone else, went "STEAL IT!" she, being a very law-abiding sort, went "NO!" ...I used to never steal anything, I think Jo'tasrin may have ruined me for anything other than Khajiit now...)

I do want to get a Dunmer character going because Dunmer are my favourite, but I found the early Pact quests a bit boring last time I tried. Especially when the Dominion has Razum-dar, who may be my favourite NPC in the history of time. It's really no contest.

UM ERM ACTUAL GUILD-RELATED STUFF: just so you know everyone (except hazmick, I guess?) might not see me on that much since I'm in a European time zone and try to go to bed early during the week. Weekends might be a better bet!

For all of us, I know our next event is Friday 3 Mar. For a location, I'd like to suggest mALX's beautiful Misa Manor Hunding House (The Port Hunding Mansion on Stros M'kai). That is if mALX and the rest of us are up for that. The place is beautiful and ever so spacious. As long as Haa-Rei or someone can bring a lute to play for Buffy to dance to.

That would be Awesome, if everyone wants to! I've been calling it our Guild Hall from the start, (in fact, actually before buying it I hoped it would become our Guild Hall) and have always thought of it as such. I call it "Hunding House" (not "Misa Manor," ).

I really want our whole Guild to feel comfortable hanging out there anytime they wish; whether I am there or not = use the facilities!

The only thing lacking right now is the Provisioning Station. (and there may possibly be a target skeleton depending on what Crowns I have left over).

(And this includes any members who have not joined the Guild. Joining the Guild gives you instant access to the Hunding House, but for anyone not in the Guild that is a member of Chorrol = just PM me and I'll set your access permissions up so you can visit at will too).

As I'm in GMT and that's a bit late for me, it's unlikely I'll be making this. However, if anyone is around a little earlier I'm happy to pop round around 10pm-12am GMT or so. I'll even make Jo'tasrin II promise not to abscond with any small valuables that may have been left lying around, no matter how tempting they might be...

...of course, depending on how it goes, that might just end with me staying up for the actual meet anyway, but I'd like to at least try to keep my sleep schedule intact...

Hazmick, we can make it earlier if you want and everyone agrees; it won't bother me to make it earlier at all.

A big place like that would feel awful without friends there to meet and share it with. It is kind of like those Mages Guild and Fighters Guild Halls - should have people there doing something, not sitting empty.

I hope to get the Banker and Merchant in there, waiting to see if they go on half price sale in the last couple weeks of March (the anniversary of their announcement and release).

I'm totally fine with going earlier. Jo'zira will have to bring a (late) housewarming gift to Misa's manor.

Of course the festivities will be ongoing for a few hours so people can drop in and out whenever they please.
