I've noticed a couple times in the past, after a few drinks, we tend to gang up on the poor Argonian skellie target. Would anyone else be interested in perhaps, later in the event of heading off as a group to do one overland world boss instead?

What I have selected as a possible target is the world boss at Nilata Falls in central Bangkorai. I've chosen that boss for the following reasons:
- One single boss (frost atronach) with no fancy mechanics.
- The couple times I've cleared it, it was not busy.
- Within sight of a wayshrine.
- Plenty of open space to run/maneuver.

Buffy can easily get to the nearby wayshrine, then the group could travel to her and we'd be in sight of the boss. Buffy could be healer and perhaps Misa could act as tank. Then everyone else could practice their dps.

Anyway, just a thought for a possible optional add on for our meeting.

That would be fun. We've never done anything like that as a group before, and with all of us together it doesn't matter if anyone has a low level character.

I'm down for it. Probably don't even need to change.

That sounds like a great idea, but I don't want to choose roles for anyone else. Misa isn't actually qualified to Tank for a group, but she will aggro them with her "Inner Fire" and take a beating unless we have a more qualifiied Tank amongst us, lol.

If it makes the rest feel better, Eolan can come in and tank. He's a bit rusty but a world boss shouldn't be a problem.

Khajiit is thinking now we should have went health with Mira instead of stamina. We don't really seem to deal a lot of damage anyway, using only sword and shield specials, and the extra health might could've come in handy.

I'm not sure if we'll even need a tank just for a world boss. Chances are the boss will chase after Haa-Rei anyway - they always do

Totally up for trying a WB! Ervesa has never defeated one before - she usually steers clear of them, then saw a group fighting one, stopped by to help, and got well and truly squashed, which hasn't helped her confidence any.

She would like everyone to know that she is NOT tanking. This Nightblade has an invisibility skill and knows how to use it.

Buffy just did another reconnaissance on the Frost Astronaut wb at Nilata Falls. Even though he's a frost fellow, you don't have to dress warmly as the area is actually warm water and desert sands. Nicely also, the boss is within sight of the wayshrine.

At first there were half a dozen players there and when Buffy showed up we all attacked. All fairly high level players so the boss went down quickly. I was not happy to see the place busy though. Happily, they all left except a CP600 magplar in heavy armor. So we agreed to try the boss again once it respawned. He did tank/dps, Buffy did heals/dps and it was pretty easy.

No real fancy mechanics on this boss. Like many bosses, if someone holds him in place, others can stack multiple AoE's on his head and melt through him in a reasonable fashion.

I think he'll be perfect for us later today as a fun/casual romp.

We'll all meet at the guildhall for drinks first of course. Then later if/when everyone still wants to, Buffy can go to the wayshrine, then everyone can join on her. So no worries if you don't know where it is.

Khajiit will bring Mira along and see how well she tanks. Have the healers on standby, lol

Elke (the crafter) has been nearly frantic over the thought of Jerric showing up at a World Boss party in his training rags, but she hasn’t made him anything better due to not knowing if “I want to look like a draugr, har har” was Jerric’s idea of a jest or just stupidity. So she made him a grown-up chest piece that she thought was appropriate. He may not even have a shield any more due to the naked Craglorn incident, but if he does and decides to slap a taunt on his bar, at least he’ll go down wearing one nice piece of armor.

Acadian, Jerric passed the falls today while treasure hunting. He was alone so he kept his distance. Awesome choice!

This whole post had me rolling! So VERY Jerric sounding to be "accidentally" naked in Craglorn! That is so funny! Whatever he wears, he will always be the life of the party!

Khajiit is going to be a bit later. If you guys do the usual hour long hangout thing before the world boss we should be there before fight time.

It was nice to have the whole guild there today! Had a great time drinking, dancing, swimming and fighting.

Buffy was a little frustrated by the sun angle and trying to see everyone's health bars. By our last go she had moved to put the sun at her back and that helped some. I think mALX's suggestion of grouping was (in hindsight) a very good one worth remembering. I think Buffy also underestimated the boss and focused initially too much on her buffs/debuffs/dps instead of Job #1 - Healing. Lol. So sorry for the few deaths that we had. Overall a fun time though I think.

As ever, delightful company, wonderful conversation.

That is Shipwreck Strand wb. A longer trek from the (Devon Watch) wayshrine but there are no distractions en route so it can be a quick, straight ride. And, again, a fairly simple boss. Good choice!

More wonderful pictures! Thanks to all who remembered to take them. Yes, a free camera mode would be lovely. Heh, that partial post by Monkey turns out to be exactly what I suspected - realizing he was late to the meet.

A few days ago I popped inside the guildhall and saw all the trophies mALX is talking about - very impressive.

Thanks for the pictures, all! I totally forgot. A wonderful time was had, and Ervesa is looking forward to taking down That Crab next time.

What a great time! Awesome that everyone was there. Thanks for the fun pictures! Sorry I (again) forgot to take any. That’s the first time I’ve seen Jerric when he’s rummaging in his satchel. I just see the inventory screen.

Grouping for the next fight is a good idea. That way the health bars are all in one place. Jerric ran into trouble when he got on the wrong side of the boss where he knew Buffy couldn’t see him and then ran out of stam to block after taunting him. Sometimes he has to repeat a lesson. He’s placed an order with Elke for a frost staff to help him manage resources. She is going to be delighted to have something other than writs to make.

Looking forward to June’s meetup and crab feast!

Jerric will check out the new trophies, he didn’t make it inside this time. It’s always fun to walk around and enjoy the beautiful decorating!

Misa died the first two fights too, but on the third time around she used her bow and stayed out of reach of his "gas" cloud, lol.

I had the same problem with my stamina depleting rapidly and no stam regen in that fight. I also noticed Misa having trouble running more than a few feet without slowing down drastically - several people I know have also had that happen; and most believe it was nerfed in that last patch in advance of the Morrowind patch where they announced it would take place - probably to lull us into thinking they didn't take so much from us when the announced cut takes place. (kind of like how they raise prices leading up to the Christmas sales; but do it subtly so the people won't notice a big jump in prices)

** changed around the Alchemy and Enchanting stations today to make a place for the new Poison Cabinet! I can make them now, if anyone needs one made! WOO HOO !!! I love it !!!

Ooh! Can you store poisons in it?! We hardly ever use those since poisons suppress your weapon enchants, so we've collected quite a few, as you can well imagine!

As of this date, they are not good for anything but awesome looks. Maybe one day we will be able to store things in our homes; we can hope!

Jerric stopped in to see the guild hall changes, and it looks great! Your trophies inside by the fire look awesome. And I’m not sure if I just didn’t see them before, but I like how the signs are on the wall above the crafting stations in the courtyard.

I absolutely love the poison cabinet. Congrats on getting the recipe! I would love for you to make one for me! I sent the materials a minute ago. I’m going to put it in Lleduri’s apartment. Darnand is going to be so jealous.

Bleh. Khajiit thinks this is why he doesn't feel as enthusiastic about player homes as others might. In the single player game, homes serve a practical need as a home base to stockpile supplies and what not. In ESO, they are merely a refuge from the multitude of PCs running around and an aesthetic extension of our characters (which Khajiit has nothing against; he would just like more practicality.). Perhaps if we can start storing stuff in our homes, Khajiit will get more excited about them, but this one doesn't see that happening.

Buffy went by the guildhall earlier today to practice her rotations on the skellie and check out the potion cabinet. Wow, it does look great and you worked it into looking like it belongs/has always been there.
