Just back from the NA guild meeting. Good turnout - ghastley, Grits, Rider, Burnt, mALX, Gosse and me. Mostly ran daily WBs and vents in High Isle. Thanks all who were there - great fun!
ghastley
Invited @Sakiri to both servers.
Acadian
That's great news!
Acadian
I noted that Saki was playing and has joined the guild. I took the liberty of promoting her so she can access the guild bank and sent her a PM in game with some soul gems, lock picks and gold to help get her started.
ghastley
Guild meets Mon and Tues again. No events going on for once.
Acadian
Buffy will be at the NA one on Tuesday.

I'm hoping we might see Saki there? We have a guild meeting for the NA server the first Tues of each month so this one will be Dec 5 next week. Starting time is 11:00 PM London time. I think that is an hour later in Sweden?

The meetings are very low key and you'll want to be up in voice on discord if you can. The guild's discord link is here: https://discord.gg/YksAuJg

Any questions, ask 'em here.
Sakiri
I'll try. That's like, midnight my time or something. I should be able to be up.
Grits
I plan to be at both meetups.
Sakiri
When was the other one? I probably missed it but was curious.
Acadian
The EU one is today (Monday) at 11 pm London time.

The NA on is tomorrow (Tuesday) at 11 pm London time.
Sakiri
When are we doing the next meeting? Ugh so tired I can't think.
Acadian
EU = first Monday each month so Jan 1 next week. NA = first Tuesday each month so Jan 2 next week. Both meetings start at 11:00 PM London time (I think that's midnight where you are?).

I only have an NA account so hope to see you this coming Tuesday!
ghastley
Time for EU meeting is negotiable. Especially on Jan 1st.

One thing we'll want to discuss is what Craftable Set is next to add to the Master Stations. I have the attunable tables, just need to go collect. We have the PvP ones from Cyrodiil and Imperial City, the quest-locked ones from Eyevea and Earth Forge, Coldharbour, Arteum, Tideholm, Mulkaldin, Clever Alchemist (which is inside No-Shira), The last one added was Aetherial Ascension, which is hard to reach down in Blackreach, but there wasn't a clear next candidate.

Possible candidates: Fortified Brass in Brass fortress' Reactor District; Twice-Born Star and Way of the Arena in Craglorn; Iron Flask in the Shambles; Deadlands or Apocrypha sets. Some of those take you through hostile regions and they all require access to a DLC or Chapter.
Grits
I will have houseguests all week, so it is very likely that I will miss our meetups. Have fun and happy adventures!
Burnt Sierra
Having recovered from the flu bug that meant I couldn't stay awake long enough for the last two in December, I'm looking forward to these smile.gif

With the EU one being on New Year's Day, and Grits having houseguests, do people think rescheduling might be a good idea?
ghastley
I'm open to that. EU on the 8th? Any call for delaying NA?
Acadian
I'm fine with the NA meeting on this Tues or bumping it a week. smile.gif
ghastley
OK, one week bump for both. 8th and 9th at 6:00PM EST.
Burnt Sierra
Fab, looking forward to it smile.gif
Grits
Yay, I plan to be at both. See you next week! smile.gif
ghastley
With the delay, Fleur decided to do more Master Writs to fill the time, so we attuned Fortified Brass, and moved on to Iron Flask.

Still want input on desired sets. The two Craglorn sets would complete the Miscellaneous section, but you don't have a fight to reach them. Was Craglorn base game or DLC? Since the sets are not under the DLC heading, I'd assume the former.
Sakiri
Craglorn was base game, added somewhat shortly after release. First adventure zone update. Was a group only zone, and it's what made me leave all those years ago.
ghastley
EU meets tonight, NA tomorrow, both at 6:00 PM EST.
Sakiri
Yeah sorry I overslept ><

I got dragged into veteran Sanity's Edge after so now I sleep.

Was fun running with yall tho!
ghastley
Since Grits has contributed a set of tables, I’m considering adding Pelinal’s Wrath, as it is in a DLC zone and a long way from a wayshrine. The other Gold Coast sets are a bit that way, but Pelinal’s is the most distant, and the other two will likely follow. Fleur has almost 400 vouchers toward the next set.

Another possible is Spell Parasite from Blackreach, for similar reasons.
ghastley
Went for Spell Parasite after doing both runs to see which is worse. The harrowstorm is almost impossible to evade if it is active when you try to pass by, so that made up my mind.

The Gold Coast ones should probably all be added together, anyway. Not likely to be soon at my current rate of progress. Master writs are slow to accumulate, and usually a style Fleur does not know. Purple tempers run out all the time, and then we run out of the surveys to get more. But it gets easier to do the writs as we progress, so at some point, momentum will start to turn the corner.
Burnt Sierra
I can give you the writs I've got on EU if that's any help (assuming you mean EU) as I never got around to doing any, and whatever materials I have, though it won't be a staggeringly large amount.

Edit - just looked in the guild bank, and there are loads of purple and gold writs there, so I'm wondering if the ones I have will be of any use, as they don't seem better than what's there already. Are any writs useful or do you only want specific types/ levels/ rewards etc? And what materials would be the most useful? (Just don't say dreugh wax as I never seem to be able to get enough!)
ghastley
The things I keep running out of are the purple tempers - mastic, grain solvent, and elegant lining - as they also get used for the purple level furnishings. I have gold tempers in great quantities, as furnishing plans are few at that level. And everyone else needs those purple furnishings for their own homes, so I don’t ask for the mats.

The writs in the guild bank are mostly style pages not known. The unwritten law states that writs always find the gaps in a style. I buy the page if it isn’t too expensive compared to the writ reward, but that’s a judgement based on my chances of having it drop. I normally bank them as soon as I get one I can’t make (unless it’s just a shortage of mats, as a survey or two fixes that). So you are likely to find a lot there you can make, as rng means you get different page drops. We have found that writs in the bank, and contributing tables, is the most efficient method, as there are a lot of things you can’t mail or bank, like the vouchers. Attunable tables are concentrated goodness when it comes to mailing.

I have a decent amount of gold on EU, so a style page buy is planned, but I need to do a survey blitz first, to get those materials.

On NA several of us have enough vouchers in hand to buy all the tables as soon as the new zone drops, and there is no deficit of sets to catch up. The EU guild was formed much later, so it is behind on the sets. We also have no Mundus Stones, which have to be bought for Crowns, and fewer dummies, as they compete for vouchers.
Sakiri
Is there any way I can help? I don't play EU, I can probably dump my purple tempers in the bank for you. I likely have a small stash.
Sakiri
Dumped a bunch of purple mats in the bank.
Acadian
Just a reminder. Guild meetings Mon (EU) and Tue (NA).

Will try to make it to both; but will probably not arrive till at least 7 both nights.

Grits
I plan to attend both events. See you soon!

EU Hunding's now has back stairs for a shorter route to the board. That should stop the wet footprints inside the house.

That looks perfect!!! Is that a new recipe? I don't know if I have that one or not.

ghastley
Just the Leyawiin Staircase, Wooden again, with some purchased pillars for the extra height. It takes two of the stairs for each flight, and aligning them to look like one is a real pain.

I know that plan on EU, but not on NA. Grits made the ones I used to reach the roof there, and my NA Hunding’s does not have the back stairs.

I will check Misa and see if she can make them.

Acadian
Buffy knows the Leyawiin Stairway, Wooden recipe and has plenty of mats. Just let me know who wants 'em and how many. smile.gif

EU folks, go do as many daily crafting writs as you can. The Master Writs that drop during the event will have double value, and can be done at any time.

Since it’s RNG on the drops, they might have reduced how many we get to compensate, but I doubt it.

Is there an Event going on right now? Acadian usually keeps me up on them; but he is out cruising the high seas, lol. I'll get you as many as I can.

On a separate topic; can you and Grits check out my Hundings on the NA and let me know if that will be okay? If it is acceptable, I will move the Master Tables over to Hundings and change it to my Primary Residence.

It was unannounced, so Acadian couldn't see it coming. It popped up while I was logged on, to tell me I should have waited a couple of hours before starting my daily writs. New Master Writs have double value, reconstruction uses half the transmutes etc. I didn't even note how long it runs!

I tweaked one of the balcony ramps to the tower a couple of inches, to eliminate a step-up that stopped me running up it.

My only criticism is that your version seems too safe! I'll be sticking with that narrow plank for mine. And maybe there are too many places in it to hang out, so we'll all wait for each other somewhere different, and wonder where everyone is.

And, since I can put the link on the guild tab for the guildhall, your primary residence can be anywhere you like.

Ooh, I will get right on it then. I have thousands of those "Charity Writs," too if that would help, lol.

The charity writs use up a lot of material (and effort) for just one voucher, so I got in the habit of destroying them. But it is all low-level stuff, so maybe they could be worth doing, if they pay out when their event is not running. Never tested that part. huh.gif

I think they still pay when Event not on, but you don't get the Achievement related to doing them. I could be wrong though. I agree on the high volume of mats and effort for just one Writ Voucher; that is why they sit in my bank and don't get used unless I am trying for an Achievement, lol. I thought I read that they were doubling the number of Writ Vouchers given; but that could have just been either a miss-interpretation or wishful thinking, lol.

ghastley
The writs that drop during the event give double vouchers. Old ones do not. A lot of others read too much into that. It does mean that grabbing them now lets you take your time doing them, as the doubling is baked into the writ.

Ooh, that is good news!

mALX

Well, it doesn't seem to be increasing my intake of Master Writs at all. Yesterday and today both I got none on either the EU or NA = just happened to find an old one on the EU and put it into the Guild Bank.

Has anyone checked out Hundings and can verify they like or don't like it and want it done better? I couldn't make any of the pieces needed by the discussions on it; so just made whatever I could and jammed it up there, lol.

If it is acceptable then some time next week I will get on moving the Master Tables, Mundus Stones, Transformer thingy, etc. over there. (plus some combat dummies, if you prefer any one over the other let me know because they won't all go in at the Hundings Place).

ghastley
1. Guildhall needs are all going to be somewhere else on the property, so you’re free to rebuild out back at any time later. And it works well enough not to need any change.

2. See my comments above. I was adding to my reply while you responded to my first part, so you may not have seen them.

3. What does Grits think? Jerric can fall off anything, but you have made it harder than I did.
Sakiri
Lol.
