A wonderful meeting on NA this evening! We started with Vicuna, Jerric, Gosse and Buffy at Vicuna's Hunding's Palace doing high diving. mALX sooned joined us. Buffy spent more time on the dock than diving since it was just as much fun to watch others dive. During a break, I did get a screenshot of the five of us on the dock.

After awhile, Gosse left then we were four - the perfect number for a pledge. . . so we picked up and did one of today's pledges (Arx Corinium) which was not only plenty of fun but went very smoothly. Once the pledge was done, Buffy and I called it a night.

Monthly reminder time: Monday EU and Tuesday NA at the usual time and places.

I was hoping to have added roof access to NA Hunding’s to match EU, but the Leyawiin Stairway plan isn’t dropping. We have done enough dailies to complete the Black-fin Legion and Ivory Brigade motifs, and have every other plan, or it seems like it. The guild stores have it at crazy prices - up to 800,000 - so I should have expected it to be rare. But Fleur got one on EU, so we keep hoping.

Meanwhile, no roof monkeys for NA.

An EU meeting was met. After a round or several of diving, we headed off to do the weekly endeavor of seven public dungeon group events. After doing the one at the lost Tomb in Alik'r a few times, as you can reset that on demand, we noticed how close Tessla (mALX's character) was to CP160, and loaded her with XP boosts to finish that milestone. We completed it a couple of delves later, as seen in the screenshot, outside Divad's Chagrin.

Then it was time to go find/make her some grown-up equipment. Tiddli made her some Julianos at Grits' house, and then we all went looking for Mothers Sorrow in Deshaan. Lady Llarel dropped a few sashes, but this time would only drop shoes from the wrong sets. We did get gloves from the Forgotten Crypts, and the nearby dolmen provided jewels. So Tessla still needs her shoes, but she's in contention again.

Ericka ran back to Lady Llarel's kwama mine this morning and immediately got Shoes of Mother's Sorrow. They're in the mail to mALX.

I am heading over to England to visit my folks tonight, and I won’t be back until after the guild meetings. I won’t have internet access. That also means I will miss the whole Jesters Festival, so I am hoping that buying the “hide shoulders” style from the Impresario’s assistant works when it reaches live.

It didn’t on PTS, but that was because they switched from NA backups to EU after the test run of Jesters, and the EU had never gone through the handover. I.e. the handover has not been fully tested. It means buying for gold, rather than tickets, but that is not as important.

It’s June already. Time to send crafting stations to mALX, so they can be attuned when the new chapter drops. And a pre-reminder that we have guild meetings coming up.

Whether the two get linked in any way may now be discussed.

Buffy expects to be at the NA meeting next Tuesday. We can also send mALX a set of 4 attunable tables.

I plan to be at both meetings, but I may be late to EU depending on Monday's daytime events.

I got into the PTS yesterday with a test character to try and get an idea where to find the crafting stations; haven't even gotten out of the first scene yet = was testing out the Arcanist, and so was trying to figure out what to do with them, lol.

It is very likely that I will be late tomorrow, but I will start my update and hop into discord as soon as I get home.

FWIW the crafting locations are one in Telvanni Peninsula, and two in Apocrypha. None quest locked.

I have not purchased the chapter, so I don’t have to have the Pepperoni pizza pony. That means I’m not suggesting we explore the new zone during the meets. Since Fleur doesn’t need crafting stations on EU, that part doesn’t apply, and she has done the tour on PTS anyhow.

It has come to my notice that the next NA guild meeting falls on July 4th, which has some significance to US residents. Are we going to let that make any difference?

EU should not be affected, on the 3rd.

I'm fine with the 4th; however, I can readily roll to the 5th if others prefer.

That being a four day weekend = we might be traveling/vacationing; so I probably can't make either day. If anyone wanted it bumped by days or a week = I vote for that; but only do it if all going want it bumped. If you all meet on time and don't mind it, maybe we could do another impromptu meeting later that week or the following week like we did the last time we had some cross issue = that would be extra fine with me, lol. I just doubt I'll be able to be there either day.

OK, let's plan an impromptu supplementary meeting or two.

I'm game for supplementary meetups, and I should be there for the 4th for a couple of hours until it's time to walk up the hill to our neighbor's pyromania display.

EU meet: endless struggles trying to get burntsierra's sound connection working on discord, followed by doing dailies of various kinds as a group.

NA meet: sound works at last, so we picked up two Isobels for new characters, did their first Undaunted quests for the rapport, and then moved on to a couple of pledge dungeons for the skill points etc. And a whole lot more that I've forgotten.

Pics or it didn't happen!!! Lol, just kidding. I hated so much to miss these meets, but had a wonderful time over the holiday and plus got the roof over our deck and privacy wall for it almost completely finished, lol. (and by the way, Happy 4th to all = though it is a little belated wish now, lol).

Lessons learned include:

Dungeons with other people are awesome!
If you ever run out of money, follow Grits, who has a nose for treasure chests better than a bloodhound.
Houses and furnishings might become a new obsession when I have materials. I was oohing and aahing over both guild halls, and the crafting stations on the NA guildhall... OMG! Followed by seeing Grits Snugpod and Bookshop House. I was hooked. Although, slightly depressingly, I think I prefer what she did with Snugpod over where I live in real life

Loved it, and a big thank you to both Ghastley and Grits for being so patient and helpful Can't wait for the next one!

Whilst over in EU, a slightly jealous Nightblade is wondering whether a trip to Bangkorai to farm Vampire's Lord rings would be a good idea. Or would the Universe start subtly throwing Spriggan's at him?

What a fun guild meetup! Burnt Sierra’s “luck” with Vampire Lord jewelry did seem like a clue from the aether. Did someone pick up a Bangkorai blood bug? Perhaps we should have finished the night by visiting a priest of Arkay!

Earlier in the evening we knocked out our Group Event weekly Endeavor, then got thoroughly soaked on Tempest Island completing an Undaunted pledge. Celebratory leaps into the waterfalls were a highlight.

EU on Monday was mainly doing the weekly endeavor (7 public dungeon group events) for the skill points, but since the team was working well, we did both Crypt of Hearts runs. So Cybbi now has her tanky whirlies and we'll do even better next time.

The Vampire Lord collection made me stop looting the chests until last, in case our rewards were pulling Spriggan's from the pool (we got about the same number of those, but at the wrong level). Had no effect, of course.

At least that's a lot of inspiration when the duplicates are deconstructed.

Oh no, I didn't check Amiela for viruses before signing off! That is how Misa ended up getting sick; right at that same Wayshrine we frequented last night! I will check as soon as I get in game, and may be back for tips on how to cure her, lol.

Both EU and NA Guild Meets were a blast!

I'm watching this thread at the ESO forums. The support actions seem a bit off-the-wall. Hopefully a policy will be stated at some point that we can act on.

I have worried about this exact thing happening for our Guild = if something were to happen to me, how to ensure you all have access to the Guild Hall to continue amassing the tables we need. I think Acadian suggested we could continue to use mine for the tables it has now; then another person start a Hall for any future tables that come up (making us have to divide our tables up by date launched instead of alphabet, which would be VERY hard to keep up with = not to mention having two different Guild Halls to search through for the tables).

I really wish they would let us have a real Guild Hall so that I could just donate all the tables we have amassed so far and no issues if I kick the bucket unexpectedly, lol. (laughing, but serious).

Since Tuesday is August 1st and a NA guild night, there's a distinct possibility that another impromptu EU meeting will happen on Monday. Especially in July, where it has a precedent.
