Sorry about last night; we had another tornado yesterday that took down several houses and trees and most of the roofs in our area. The power was finally turned back on, but they had the internet down most of the night = I couldn't make the meeting or even let anyone know I couldn't come. Sorry about that,

Well, we went a good portion of yesterday without power; but it came back and so did the internet for a while too; but when they started trying to clean up the downed trees and power lines they took the internet back down for most of the night. It was really bad in a circle around us, but somehow missed our end of our street. Lots of damage everywhere around us though, it may end up being declared a disaster when they start totaling up the damage.

I am wondering how Tregdoggie is doing through this; I haven't seen reports from his area yet. The biggest damage they are showing is in West Knoxville, it is a mess.

We keep getting tornado warnings here in Maryland; they've gotten more frequent over the past 5 years or so. Which is truly bizarre. We never got tornados in my state in the past, it's just not the right geometry here or something. 🌪

TN didn't have them for a long time either. "Tornado Alley" used to be kept out of TN by the mountains; but they cut a pass through the mountains to make it easier to dart into northern Alabama and ended up making TN a part of the Tornado's pathing. That actually might be what is causing them to reach MD now too; they can just follow the Valley east right on past VA and into MD = I have driven that route myself, it is an easy flat run in a car, so probably ideal for a tornado.

We made it through; and even though about 300 are homeless from it right now = the deaths and injuries for the whole area were surprisingly light for the damage that was done. I actually did heare quite a bit of complaining about your weather recently from someone else, lol. (glances in Acadian's direction but doesn't mention him by name, lol).

Has anyone heard from Treydoggie? He may have been in the early path before it hit here, I was wondering if he made it okay.

I'll be missing the guild meetings this month. My internet connection in the UK house doesn't happen until wednesday. Try to behave without me.

And...after complaining that Starfield was running extremely hot, turns out it might not ENTIRELY have been Starfield's fault. The fans on my liquid cooling system have stopped working due to the ball bearings wearing out, and after speaking to the manufacturer, I've had to order a new liquid cooling system... So that's me offline until the weekend! (hoping I'm not missing anything, especially exciting in the daily rewards!)

Just back from the NA meeting. Grits, Gosse and I spent the first part doing the Direfrost Keep pledge. Then we sat around the guild hall swapping stories, dancing, drinkng and playing music. And, of course, I only remembered about taking screenshots after it was over. . . .

Sorry everyone; my husband had complications from surgery and was not doing too well these last few days. He is (finally) doing better now, (thank goodness). If we do any Meets on alternate weeks to make up for all the people out on this week's; I will hopefully be able to do those alternate ones.

@ Ghastley = GAAAAAAH!!!! I actually went through this when I moved too; and places like Steam had backup plans that really helped for these situations = but ZOS didn't. It took me A LONG time to get them to straighten it out; and finally I had to tell them I was upgrading my Plus membership to a year before they miraculously figured out how to verify it was me.

@ Burnt = Aw, really sorry about your cooling system! Lucky the heat didn't fry your graphics card; glad you caught that in time!

After almost 3 weeks of being offline due to a knackered cooling system and it turns out a fried graphics card, I am now back online with a sparkling new cooling system and a shiny new 4080 making everything look pretty

I don't have a dog in the EU fight for consideration but I can easily do the NA meeting on either Tues the 3rd or a week later on Tues the 10th.

Yes, I am back in the USA, and bought Necrom at half price. So there will be a n00b Orcanist at the EU meet. I will hold off from creating a NA one for a while, as I have plans that depend on stuff that is not yet available.

With Update 40 a week away, I have started gathering materials for the Voucher drive. I reckon that Jewelry writs will be the best bang for the buck, so I have all my characters doing the daily writs to get Iridium and the Master writs, too. I'm holding off on doing the surveys until the update drops, as that is supposed to fix the chance of double returns, so all my Iridium is coming from the writs, not refining.

EU doesn't have enough sets to make the Master Tables useful, but NA certainly does, and we need to work out how to minimize mALX's effort. My idea is to send her individual mails of a single writ and materials to do it. I.e. for a typical 28-voucher Jewelry writ that would be 10 or 15 Platinum ounces, 2 Terne Platings, 3 Iridium Platings, and whatever Trait material it needs. That way she doesn't need inventory space for more than the writ itself.

I'll only send Healthy/Robust/Arcane/Protective/Infused writs as the other Trait mats are hard to get. I probably have enough of those now. Platinum and Terne are in good supply, and it's only Iridium I need to chase. I only have about 12 platings so far (from writs), and the total needed will be 65 for the four tables (=650 after the U40 upgrade). That's for 215 writs @ 28 vouchers each, using 3 Platings per. If anyone else has surplus Iridium let me know.

Note that 28 is approx. They range from 26 to 30. 6000/28 is not quite 215.

Fleur will not say no to EU contributions, but the sets we don't have would take about 50k vouchers, even before the Master tables to feed into, and we're not short of space/slots.

Sounds like a great plan to me, ghastley. Buffy's been saving high payoff writs that she has all the mats for. Your idea of perhaps sending one in game PM per writ - all self-contained with one master writ and required mats for it sounds like a good way to make it less painful for mALX. It will take a bit of coordination with mALX to ensure we don't overload her mailbox.

I think that's a great plan. I have writs and surveys piling up a bit on the NA server, less on EU. I'll check with mALX and ghastley before I send the ones that need motif knowledge. There's one crafting item that I know I'll need to build up a supply: perfect roe. Good news, time to go fishing!

Fleur has done a bunch of Jewelry writs, and bought the Grand Master station for Jewelry, installed it at Hunding’s and fed it the dozen or so individual ones. We've used it to do another of the Master writs. It will be a long time before we get the next, as we don’t have the writs. Wait a moment, I've been putting them in the Guild Bank, I'll pull those back out.

On NA, Laurie sent a mail to mALX with a writ plus ingredients. Just one, as a test of the method.

Grits sent 400 vouchers of writs on EU just before I logged off, so had to do those. Fleur left off tonight at 1350 vouchers, with 15 blue writs to do after some surveys tomorrow.

Edit: Woodworking Grand Master is in on EU. Of course, we only have 16 of 77 sets, but ...

Just started sending writ kits to mALX and got disconnected after ten of them. I hope I don’t get banned for spamming!

Just answered a call for assistance from mALX, and she has all four tables already! Just having issues with feeding them, as the button looks inactive before you click it. Now she just has to pick up 300+ tables and feed them, and then consider the move back to Hunding’s. Apparently a second player can’t share the work, at least not at the same time, or I’d be doing that now.

Probably need some feedback from mALX so we don't overfill her mailbox. Looks like she probably has enough to work with for now till we hear from her.

Okay, well I discovered I had just banked a bunch of Writ Vouchers a year or more ago and forgotten about them = after getting and doing a few Master Writs this morning from Ghastley and Grits and then going to put them in the bank I was stunned to discover I actually had enough to buy the tables today!

Okay, so now I have all four of the tables and can't for the life of me figure out how to "feed" the other tables into them! Urk. I went online and followed all the directions I could find written by ESO = it is not working, urgh.

If any of you have done this on the PTS, can you walk me through it on the Discord or on here? Or if you find any YouTube vids that might help me? Gaaaaah.

**** EDIT: Thanks to Ghastley explaining how to use the new stations; the Guild Hall is now set up completely = all sets attuned into the Grand Master sets!!! WOO HOO !!!!! That was A LOT easier than I thought it would be!!!!

After buying some style pages, and doing big writs, Fleur has installed the Clothier Grand Master station at the EU guildhall. Only Blacksmithing left to get!

We'd better get doing the surveys - we're down to single digit quantities of grain solvent, mastic and elegant lining.

I'm back from my trip and will be sending writ kits on EU as soon as I get the car unloaded. Let's see how close we can get to that last station!

Marathon EU session again.

It started with Grits sending a couple of huge old Jewelry writs adding up to the 1000 or so vouchers Fleur needed for the final Grand Master table. Then a trip to attune another set to add to them, (Aetherial Ascention which is a pain to reach down in Blackreach) to use up a few more of the writ collection. We now have the full set of Master tables, if only at 17/77 sets.

Then mALX arrived and we went gathering plunder skulls while we still could, and then Possessed Shreds for the Netch pet, until we ended up taking the latest Jerric on a wayshrine tour of all Tamriel just before midnight. Long enough for the Sit and Drink emote to drop.

Nobody remembered pictures, of course.
