Hee! Too bad Jerric can't wear his swan thong. laugh.gif

Just had something strange happen with our guild bank. Found another Khajiit motif book to drop in there. So, I took the stack of 10 from the bank. Went into inventory and hit 'stack items', resulting in a stack of 11. Went back into guild bank and deposited the stack of 11. Then perused the guild bank to see what is new - and noticed 0 Khajiit motif books! So I checked the following:

My bank in case I put the stack in there by mistake instead. Nope.
Inventory in case the deposit didn't 'take.' Nope.
Bank history log. Shows me withdrawing the stack of 10 but does not show me putting the new stack of 11 in.
Exited and returned to game to see if that would fix. Nope.

I mean, Khajiit motif books are hardly a big deal but I'm still quite mystified as to what happened. wacko.gif
Grits
I had a difficult time depositing the recipe fragment. I had to disable gamepad mode in order to do it. I wonder if there is a bug with Guild banks right now?

Same thing happened to me the other day with Altmer motif books. Seems we either have to leave the guild store unstacked and messy, or risk the game eating our items when we try to tidy up.

Acadian, that sounds like a latency issue; and that does happen sometimes - just wait for several hours; but when that happens I always make out a bug report and log the report number/date and time/and what you deposited that didn't show up so there is a record of the missing bank items.

I would wait till it shows up before depositing any other items, because items can be lost in the latency if it is severe like that.

Grits - It is odd that your controller would cause a problem now if it didn't before; so it either could be the same latency or it could be something that was messed up in that last patch Monday = always a possibility! I'm glad you got it straightened out!

@Everyone = Be careful not to deposit anything of value until this issue is resolved!

Did they eventually show up? (I haven't looked). If not, best make a bug report, it is probably some issue created by one of their patches.

Acadian
Darn, I was hoping it was just some sort of silly oversight on my part. I'll keep checking - hopefully it is delayed latency or such and will show up. Don't care so much about this stack of books, just the overall safety/reliability of the guild bank.

For Grits, I expect Buffy the templar healer will be out and about this evening - looking for victims to tag along with. tongue.gif

I just swapped a duplicate Ambrosia recipe fragment for one I needed that was in the bank, so check the bank if you are looking for (I think) fragment VII.

I should have some free time tonight, if anyone wants a spontaneous Guild adventure. Jerric was just given a “Swan Satin Bathing Thong,” time for some swimming! laugh.gif

Julian has been waiting a LOOOONG time for that Fragment VII! Thanks!

Will try to keep an eye out for extra motifs Max already knows, we'll stick it in the guild bank as we get 'em. Regarding the missing Khajiit books, I think I have spares, we'll put them in to replace the ones that went missing . . .
Acadian
Buffy just got home from a fun smorgasbord of boss huntin' and dark anchor smashin' with a Chorrol group of six! Thank you so much to all of you! It was great fun and such wonderful experience for Buffy to practice her craft! tongue.gif

Fighting Bittergreen the supertough guar was amazing. Buffy has seen groups of four to six all wipe on that troublesome boss with his rapid red circles of near death spewing across the ground. ohmy.gif

I loved that we were able to revisit that pesky frost atronach that caused us some problems a few months ago and wreak some serious vengeance. evillol.gif

Everyone fights so impressively! viking.gif
Grits
What a fun time! The rampaging guar and sweet revenge on the atronach were highlights. Jerric hated to leave just when Buffy put on her kilt. He needs no other encouragement than that to don his. Shirtless and pantsless beats shirtless every time.

Next Friday looks good for me, but I will bolt the minute I see my son’s car in the driveway. He’s coming home for a few days, and I’m pretty excited. Not sure exactly what time, though. I’m looking forward to our meeting!

WOO HOO !!!! We now have Kagrenac's Hope set tables at the Guild Hall; and 41 vouchers toward Orgnum's Scales!!!!! WOO HOO !!!!!!!!

MALX, thanks for memorializing that moment with a screenshot! Basking in victory! biggrin.gif

Woot! More crafting tables!
Grits
Yay, thanks for the pictures! I love how Britta’s pup is sitting so nicely at her side. biggrin.gif

Congratulations on yet another crafting set! You are blazing through the Master Writs! Fingers crossed for some more out of today’s chores. I haven’t gotten to writs yet this morning.

Oh, about the bank - I deposited a couple of blue motif books last night and did not have any issues. For me it was that the entire inventory category would not show up in the Deposit screen until I switched off Gamepad mode. Then in the regular PC UI I could see everything. It may have had nothing to do with my solution and just resolved on its own, but it's disturbing to know that sometimes things can just disappear. ohmy.gif

I don't know either, but I think that last patch has caused some issues.

On the dog - I was at the crafting stations getting these all done, and I looked up one time and she was laying down in the water trough for the Blacksmithing station! laugh.gif

I'm really excited at how quickly we are getting these tables! The price of the Master Writs has come down low enough that I can pick up some really good deals on Master Writs about once per week or so (after I've gotten the gold up) and make up the slack from the game's "random number" of Master Writ drops. At this rate we should have all the DLC sets in about 4 months (*knocks on wood*)

After that I'll start trying to get the regular wilderness ones that are duplicated in each of the main Alliance's Provinces - (I think there are about 15 of those).

If anyone else gets any of them at their house (like Monkey did) that is that many less we need to get at the Hall; we just need to post it on here (or somewhere) which stations are where.

AND - now that we have the banker and merchant, I am going to start saving up for the Mundus stones for our Guild hall too. (pending there being no DLC I want to buy). THAT will take a while, unless they allow us to purchase them some other way besides Crowns, lol.

(And again: If anyone gets any at their own house - let us know which and where so that won't be duplicated at the Guild Hall).

But I def see our Guild Hall being very functional for all of us in the next year; and most def having the amenities a Guild Hall should have!

Love hearing the progress on the crafting stations!

May I suggest in addition to posting who has which sets at their primary residences, also posting a note beside their handle in the in game guild roster listing who has what where? That's how I found out Monkey has the Armor Master set at her place - it was serendipity because Maz had just that master writ calling for Armor Master burning a hole in her armor.

Awesome suggestion!

mALX
Thanks to Grits and Monkey for the donations of Master Writs - and to Acadian, who sent me a whopping donation of gold and purple Tempers (and Perfect Roe) to do the crafting of these Master Writs:

As of right now we have 402 of the 750 Vouchers needed for the last set of Fighters Guild tables! WOO HOO !!!!

Thank you all so much, your help is so appreciated in making our Guild Hall an Awesome place for all of us!!!! We have all contributed so much to this; it is just so exciting to see it coming about so quickly!!!!!

After the Fighters Guild we will be tackling the DLC sets, so lets take a vote on which to tackle first:

Gold Coast: Kvatch Gladiator; Pelinal's Aptitude; Varen's Legacy

Hews Bane: Clever Alchemist; Eternal Hunt; Tava’s Favor

Vvardenfell: Assassin’s Guile; Daedric Trickery; Shacklebreaker

Wrothgar: Law of Julianos; Morkuldin; Trial by Fire

haute ecole rider
I'd vote for either Gold Coast or Hew's Bane.

Max is getting rather tired of sneaking past the bandits to get to the Clever Alchemist.

Same here, that is one of my least favorite crafting locations! I've heard a few people say there is a shortcut to it, but I've never been able to find it yet.

Between the Assassin Beetles, Gargoyles, Jackels, and all those humanoid enemies = by the time you get to the crafting station you can barely find the strength to craft the items, laugh.gif

Acadian
I'll join you in suggesting the Hews Bane sets next.

WOO HOO!!!! We now have all the Mages and Fighters Guild sets; (and Monkey has the 3 Imperial City sets) = and we have 130 vouchers toward the Hews Bane sets! WOO HOO !!!!!!

I actually just bought the last table outright from the Guild Store, laugh.gif Believe it or not, it was cheaper than buying the Master Writs and crafting them!

But for the first two tables and the 130 vouchers remaining = Have Grits, Monkey, and Acadian to thank for the Master Writs and materials provided to craft them!

I'm really excited about how fast this is going, thank you all so much for all this help!!!

Outstanding progress on the crafting stations, mALX, thank you so much! I don’t have a preference for whatever comes next, and it sounds like you folks have a good plan. Clever Alchemist really is a pain to get to.

Reminder that the next guild meeting is this Friday!
RaderOfTheLostArk
Ya boy will be there! Although I'll probably be late for it. Not sure exactly when, but I project I'll be on around 6. Maybe earlier though.

Haven't played ESO in a couple weeks. I was in Stormhaven doing stuff for the Oracles of Azura last time. Tried to get on the other night but the launcher gave me issues, so I played Half-Life instead. Going to try to go on ESO tonight or tomorrow to do some more of that stuff before the guild meeting, so hopefully no more launcher issues for now.

A wonderful girls night out (plus Jerric) in Craglorn. I took some screenies, which I'll upload in the morning.
Acadian
I agree, hazmick, and so glad you got some screens. I forgot (again, lol).

Yes, Jerric, Ciri, Britta and Buffy did some swimming, dancing and drinking. Then we went to Craglorn looking for trouble - and found some. Great fun. tongue.gif
mALX

It was a lot of fun! I wish I'd remembered to take screens of it! Glad you remembered, Hazmick!!!

mALX

By the way, thank you Acadian/Buffy so much for the Awesome job Healing yesterday! I never had to look far for a shard, and know it had to be you keeping Britta's health up in those Boss fights! Awesome job!!!

mALX

These shots are great, you captured the whole Fun Run perfectly!!! Wait, was Ciri healing too? WOW!!! Awesome job to both Ciri and Buffy then!!! I know Britta never once saw her health bar go down; and certainly never lacked for a shard or synergy to use = fantastic work!

Acadian
Thank you for the kind words, mALX. Buffy loves healing her friends. I'm so glad your fingers are getting more comfortable catching synergies like shards; hopefully they help Britta's resource management. I noticed that Jerric and/or Ciri was also putting out shards. And yes, Ciri was healing as well; I know she uses Mutagen whereas Buffy uses Rapid Regeneration (both are HoTs - different morphs of same spell). Nice thing about two healers with each is that the two HoTs stack!

Wow, hazmick, those are spectacular shots - catching Buffy casting Rapid Regen is a magical shot as well as the one of both Jerric and Ciri channeling dual Jesus Beams! For mALX, Jesus Beam is the nickname for the magnificent Templar execution skill of Radiant Destruction and its two morphs. Against a target below 20% health it is devastating. Buffy uses it more often to 'explode' ranged pesky adds to keep them from shooting her tank! biggrin.gif
hazmick
mALX - yep, Ciri did a little healing too. Buffy is by far the better healer, but Ciri can get right into the melee to throw down some extra healing when it might be required.

Acadian - we LOVE radiant destruction. Not only does it do great damage, it looks really cool too. Ciri currently uses the glory morph so it heals her a little, but I've been thinking about respecing to the other morph for the extra damage.
Grits
What a great time last night, my friends! Jerric was as relaxed and happy as a Nord can get. If you asked him to describe the perfect day, it would sound a lot like our rambling adventures!

hazmick, you captured the night beautifully in your screenshots! Thank you so much! Acadian picked out my favorite action shots, tremendous! I remember when the dual beams moment happened, Jerric was hooting with joy. He does enjoy the glory of Templar magic. biggrin.gif

The Guild Hall Healz disco right before we headed out still cracks me up. Jerric hastens to point out that the angle of his tabard flap is the result of his bodacious Nord dance moves, and not any, er, other reason.

Acadian, Buffy looks fabulous whatever she wears, but her midriff-baring top from last night is extra nice. May I ask what style that is? I have an elf who won’t level up until I can replace her Hide outfit with something that she likes.

Acadian
Hazmick - RG vs RO. Just remember that to fully optimize RO, your magicka bar should be quite full when you cast it since that is what it scales off for full damage. Those who prefer RG generally want the heals or expect they will be low on magicka when casting their beams near the end of a big fight. I expect both are good. Buffy uses RG but not with a really strong conviction of one morph over the other.

Grits - Thank you! What you saw on Buffy (showing her tummy) was the medium draugr jack. smile.gif Longer explanation: Buffy finally maxed out the top Undaunted passive so she gets +2% to all three attributes for each type of armor she wears. So she is now in 5 light, 1 heavy (hidden helm) and 1 medium. The extra health lets her drop all health enchantment in favor of all magicka enchantments so she worked things to hold the same okay health but boost her magicka notably. In redoing her wardrobe somewhat to support a medium piece, I discovered the draugr style medium jack is sleeveless and bares the midriff! Since the tummy-baring sleeveless top looks rather breezy for chilly places, her alternative is medium Imperial boots with light Nord jerkin.
Grits
Thank you, Acadian! I was scratching my head thinking that was a Light piece, and trying not to creep Buffy out by having Jerric loom over her with too close an examination of her top, lol. Congrats to Buffy on maxing out Undaunted Mettle!

I am a big fan of the Light Nord jerkin. Jerric always has one in his backpack, though it is long overdue for an upgrade.
Acadian
What I sometimes do to check the style of top level stuff is craft a CP150 version for evaluation. It looks the same as CP160 but costs way less mats to make. I've even tried dye combos on them before committing to crafting one in CP160. That ESO fashion site I think you and I have both used is pretty helpful.

Buffy is basically kitted as follows:
- Hidden Breton heavy helm.
- Argonian light belt & gloves (no choice since that is her preferred dropped set of Robes of the Hist).
- Altmer light pants since they are sleek fitting.
- Altmer epaulets (no shoulder flappers), though Ancient Elf is also okay in that regard and probably a couple other styles.
- Imperial light boots since they are also sleek fitting - whether medium or light.
Several light jerkins in Nord, Breton, Draugr and that medium Draugr jack you saw last night.

In her sorc aspect, we go to pains to keep her looking almost identical. Even her sorc chosen dropped set is also Argonian style (Necropotence).
Acadian
Looking forward to our guild meet up today! smile.gif

Buffy is up for about anything as far as a meeting agenda – drinking, swimming, fishing, dancing, adventuring.

That said, if we are looking for a nice, fairly sedate little adventure I do have an idea that Buffy is prepared to lead/navigate. It would be limited little adventure to Wrothgar simply to clear one delve - Nikolvara's Kennel, which contains a couple fishing spots and a skyshard. Foes include durzogs, spiders and bandits. The boss is an archer type bandit who is the ‘Durzog Trainer’. Though we would need to kill a fair number of foes in the dungeon (and boss), the fighting involved is not hard even for a solo player. Mostly just a light-hearted little fun run.

Buffy’s completely up for about any alternatives but I just thought I’d toss out one simple possibility in case we’re looking for ideas. I think what may have got me thinking about this one was a comment by someone here (Khajiit?) about wanting to take out that Durzog Trainer.
