1. So would we like to try the guild meeting this Friday Oct 30 for some plunder skull running or hold for our normal 'First Friday of each month' next week Friday Nov 6 and, hopefully, get a couple more folks. I'm up for either.

2. Have not heard anything from Rider regarding if/how much she might like to contribute to the upcoming new attunable table requirement. I'll send her a PM.
Edit: Heard back from Rider. She no longer has the tables from last time. She says she just does not have much time for ESO right now so suggests we cover the tables without her. With that in mind, I'll tentatively plan for getting one of each type of table for a set of four. Based on how that fits with the plans of others, I can adjust up or down.

1. I'm up for a skull run on the 30th, AND a guild meet on the 6th.
2. Laurie has collected enough for four, too. (No that's not 42).
Grits
1. I'm all for a skull run this Friday and a Guild meetup on the regular Friday as well. This Friday is a driving day for me, but I plan to be back in time. viking.gif

2. I have enough vouchers 442. (One of each type). Whoop!
Acadian
Sounds good to me. I'll plan on showing up both Fridays as well and be ready to provide one full set of four tables. smile.gif

And there was a pre-meet meet. We did a few delves, got our Plunder Skulls, and adjourned. Several of us then went onto the EU server, to continue with younger characters. mALX created a new character, so there was a pause while she got out of the tutorial dungeon, and then we carried on where we left off on NA. Then Rader turned up on Discord, and we told him we were on EU. So he (finally) rolled a new character, Lifts-Many-Weights, and we inducted him, too, after another wait for the tutorial. So now we had four characters, all under level 15, hunting delve bosses, dolmens, WB's, etc. and having a blast with over half our accustomed skills missing, or unmorphed.

After Rader left, the three of us continued exploring. I switched from my new Bosmer, Tiddli, to an older character, and did guided tours of the zones' way-shrines, so everyone else could add them to their maps, and get the XP for the discovery.

We finally quit around midnight, and took this one parting screenshot in Stormhold..

That's Tessla Khan, Cevin Surille, and Nadja the Naked Nord (she's the tall one).

The EU version of the Guild now has seven members, and that bank and tabard are getting closer!

I had a blast on our impromptu Guild Meet last night! (and surprisingly = really enjoyed starting a new game and character on the EU)! I didn't think I would like starting over a new game like that; but it was really fun = and kind of nostalgic!
Acadian
Wow, I'm only good for an hour or two at a time and sticking around for the first two hours was great fun. I'm glad things continued much longer, even migrating over to EU.

Thanks to Grits, Buffy easily learned the Alinor Allamande new dance steps this morning over in Summerset.

Thanks for the great screenshot.

With the new DLC dropping (with 3 new crafted sets), I saw in another thread that ghastley has sent a set of 4 attunable tables to mALX for use in the guild hall. I just sent her a second set of 4.

I'll log on now and send the third set. Whoop!

Thank you all so very much for all this help; you all are Awesome !!!!

Made a pleasant discovery this morning. As of the patch, yellow style pages now stack, so we are no longer limited in trying to control the numbers of them to only one or two each. They now stack just like motif pages.

Thank you for the fun run, ghastley and Acadian! Darnand got his last new skill on the bar this morning and is now ready for me to learn how to keep him on his feet.

Jerric had a great time relaxing with Buffy and Clark, and the lovely Guild Hall was the perfect place for it. Really, there's never a bad day there for a chat, a dance, and a bit of swimming. biggrin.gif
Acadian
I agree. It was a nice get together, as we chatted for about an hour, then ran 5 WBs in Deeshan before Buffy had to go home. smile.gif

And Buffy learned something. On those bosses where diligent block/interrupt is required, Buffy should have slotted the Undaunted Inner Fire taunt instead of her normal Reflective Light spell. She knows how to do that but forgot. That could have helped ensure the bosses were focused on her so she could better read and be in position to block and interrupt more effectively. That would have been especially helpful vs the little kagouti, Short Tusk.

Aw, I missed a Guild Meet! verysad.gif

EHT popped up a tip when I opened the guild tab, suggesting I add a Guildhall entry to the "About Us" text that it can use to add a "Visit Guildhall" button the UI. So I did, and it works. At the bottom center of the screen I found [E] Visit Guildhall - indicating that the E key would also trigger it.

The syntax allows me to specify a house that is not Primary Residence. However, if mALX changed her primary, then everyone would need EHT to get there, which doesn't seem like a good idea.

Since it's in the "About us" section, it won't trigger the "MOTD changed" issue I had when the NA and EU ones differed. Let me know if it's helpful.

My point was that if only everyone had EHT, you could safely change your primary, and they'd all still be able to get there. It's a pity that it's not a feature of the base game.

Zeni refuse to allow guilds to own anything, it always has to be an individual player's property, but just that link from guild to house wouldn't be too much to ask, you'd think. I suspect it got added as a Proof of Concept to help push for adoption. Many of the new UI features in Update 28 seem to have been "learned" from Add-ons, so there's hope.

Reminder, guild meeting this Friday (Dec 4). The undaunted event will be ongoing so I thought we might consider a normal pledge. Since ghastley is farming Rattlecage, it might be nice if those of us interested pick up Vaults of Madness as a pledge this Wed from Redbeard and save it for Friday. Then on Friday we can run nVoM.

Though VoM has plenty of funny mechanics, Buffy knows them cold and routinely solos this dungeon. Buffy and Floozie duo'd it today and it went very smoothly. Ghastley is also well up to speed on the mechanics. So this dungeon is well within the guild's capabilities, even with some using young characters if desired. If we have 5 show up, Buffy will happily yield her slot so 4 can run it. If we have 6 or more show up, we could consider either running two teams through it or running it twice with ghastley in both runs.

I discussed this with ghastley and he indicated he'd be interested and appreciate the help in getting more Rattlecage for Floozie. Though not required to run the dungeon, those who plan ahead a bit and want the bonus should, again, pick it up on Wed as a pledge and hold onto it for Fri.

Since the event will be ongoing, everyone will get a loot box from the final boss and, if it is the first group dungeon boss of the day for you, you'll also get three event tickets.

Are we interested? Buffy's up for it. smile.gif
Grits
I'm in! I didn't get on in time tonight (and I have an event at 9 pm), but I will run through it happily. On Friday and before. viking.gif purplewizardsmile.gif bluewizardsmile.gif viking.gif
ghastley
And Floozie will gladly repay with a dungeon of your choice.

Tonight's run got her a second staff, (although she'd prefer a resto, she got an inferno), the necklace, and a couple of armour pieces. She could wear a set, but it would displace at least one of her other set, so she's still looking for a ring and a helm.

The shoulder slot is undecided. The idea is to use a single monster piece, probably Domihaus, or Swarm Mother for the dual boosts to Magicka and Stamina, or Stonekeep for all three.

ETA: Floozie has grabbed the pledge today, so she 's ready for the bonus on Friday.

Would anyone like to see my Antiquarian's Alpine Gallery and my two newest homes, Hammerdeath Bungalow and Ravenhurst, at the beginning? Ravenhurst is my 25th--yes, my 25TH--house, and I just finished decorating it. If you've seen my Alpine Gallery already, I've made some minor but noticeable changes to it--including the addition of a couple of special brand-new furnishings that I have never had before...

Not sure if I'll be around for a group dungeon.
Acadian
A fun guild meeting yesterday! We pretty quickly assembled ghastley, me, Grits and Gosse at the guild hall. After some small talk and catching up, we jumped into normal Vaults of Madness (VoM) for a fun run farming Rattlecage for Floozie. After a quick visit to town and some character switching, we repeated the same dungeon with Rader instead of Gosse. At that point, Rader and I left and my understanding is that ghastley and Grits ran VoM for a third time. Thanks to those who made it and we missed those who could not be there.

Speaking of guild meetings, the first Friday of January is New Years Day. Considering that some may have plans that day, would we like to bump the meeting to the following Friday (Jan 8)? Either date is fine for me.
ghastley
Indeed, Grits swapped Jerric Kjellingson for Jerric Kjellingsen, and I swapped Cat Man Dhou for Clark, and we did it again. The third run just gave us more duplicates to swap, but Floozie has ended up with five pieces she can use.

And of course they're all Superior and need upgrading, so we put Blossom to work, but she runs out of Zircon before she's done. That meant pulling several Jewel surveys from the bank. Fifteen hundred dust later, she has all the upgrades done. Golded the ring, after all that effort to get it. tongue.gif

And then I used some of my Crowns on the Warden class, and another character slot. More in another thread.
mALX

Aw no! I couldn't be there for this Guild Meet! verysad.gif

@Acadian = yeah, if you don't mind bumping that Guild Meet to a later day; I'd appreciate it. The 1st is always a busy day for me. Just don't move it to Superbowl Sunday!!!!! (please).

Superbowl is not until Sunday, Feb 7 so no worries there. Looks like one vote to bump our Jan guild meeting from Jan 1 to a week later on Friday Jan 8. How's everyone else feel?

Bump in that direction makes more sense than the opposite way. I'll go for it.

I have acquired the Hunding's Palatial Hall on the EU server, and marked it as Primary residence (and guildhall for EHT users). Nothing there yet, but I'll probably move the crafting stations from Sleek Creek into the inner courtyard soon.

I'll be working on getting the Cyrodiil stations for the back terrace next. They're a pain to visit, so they should be a priority. Progress will be slow, as just having the intent slows the rate of Master Writs dropping. tongue.gif

Oh, that is fantastic! Yeah; when they first came out with Housing; Monkey picked up those Cyrodiil tables immediately and kept them at his primary residence. It was a huge help to not have to get those tables till a year or so later when we had all the rest of them.

I really miss Monkey! verysad.gif

New Years Day is the first Friday of January. Based on the responses we got when posing the question a week or so ago, it seems like avoiding a New Years Day guild meeting is prudent and we should plan on trying to get together a week later. That would be Friday, 8 Jan.

Looking forward to seeing those who can make it then! smile.gif

Ghastley, have things sorted out for your puter? Did you ever find out what the problem was that kept booting you from the game?
ghastley
No. I’m still rebooting often, when I play ESO. I tried each video card separately, swapped keyboard, mouse, and disconnected anything not essential. It all leaves me thinking motherboard, the one thing I can not swap.

I also do not have enough compatible parts to cobble up an alternate machine to play on. I can get a bit of useful chores done between reboots, so daily riding lessons etc. still happen. Fleur has her 100 master writs done, so we can buy the bathtub plan, and she’s gradually accumulating vouchers for the tables at Hunding’s.

I would have already ordered a new machine, if they didn’t come with windows 10 home. That spends way too much time reporting home to MS for my liking. I may cave in eventually.

I'll give you a heads-up in advance: the current motherboards will not load anything but windows 10. They won't even boot up the previous OS to Upgrade it to Windows 10; you have to install the Windows 10 OS on them first to even get them to boot at all.

(so keep that in mind when buying the motherboard if you haven't been using a full copy of Windows 10 = may not be able to upgrade anymore; will need to purchase the full copy of Windows 10 OR buy an older motherboard version).

ghastley
I would be getting a whole new machine (but not monitors etc.) as I've found that power supplies, and all the other parts in that box, tend to die at around the same time, or can't work with the next generation. Memory slots, video slots, all change about as often as the old parts fail (wonder why that is?)

So I'll be backing up all the content I want to preserve from this box, and getting another. Since it works well when I'm not playing games, that's proceeding nicely.

Back to guild-specific stuff: The EU guildhall now has a third crafting station! That puts us only about 300 behind the NA one.

We added an Unchained Aggressor Woodworking station to the Critical Riposte Jewelry and Woodworking ones, as we had a couple of writs for the Bruma Armory. We'd also like to get the Earth Forge and Eyevea stations, but nobody's done those quests lines yet - and probably won't until I get a new machine. Debating the Imperial City ones, too. I've not been there since it was cut off from Cyrodiil, so I don't know how hard it is to get to the crafting locations now.

Edit: We have done the Mages Guild questline (Nadja) and the Fighters Guild one (Tiddli), so now we have access to Eyevea and the Earth Forge. Now to earn all those vouchers ...
ghastley
Meet this Friday. Anyone have any plans/hopes/suggestions?
Acadian
Well, Buffy plans on being there but we don't really have any hopes or preferences. Just some possible ideas:

Dancing, drinking Tamikas and chatting about the upcoming changes to the game expected this year.

Something to do with the current Midyear Mayhem though Buffy's capabilities and knowledge are pretty much limited to repairing keeps and doing scouting missions.

Arx Corinium is Redbeard's pledge that day and Buffy's very comfortable in there. Wayrest II is Maj's pledge and it is well beyond Buffy by herself or even a duo due to a harvester boss that pins a player who must be quickly released by the group or die.

Racking up some Undaunted daily delves is very easy but can quite build up some undaunted skill line for anyone who needs it.

WBs are always a reasonable run for a Chorrol group.

Yes EU server, as NA's got them all. Fleur just attuned and installed another Unchained Agressor (smithing) so we have a grand total of five!

Fleur is definitely at the beginning end of the curve - doesn't get many master writs, as she doesn't know many motifs, can't do them when she does get one. And the RNG is not playing nice either. She tried to farm Hew's Bane for Outlaw chapters, and got two copies of Heads from Shark's Teeth Grotto, and nothing at all from Bahraha's Gloom, despite killing the Maginifico a dozen times. So she changed the subject and went looking for Ancient Orc instead, cleared Rkindaleft without getting one drop! Gave up in disgust. sad.gif
