Ralof: rollinglaugh.gif

The bow and arrows look great. I like the extra red with her outfit. That bow looks like it was made for bashing!

I love the picture of E-9 at work. I have never seen that lowlife’s face before. He does not look friendly. (I’m guessing that’s in the Ratway.)

Shi looks awesome! We have Fallout 3 and NV around here somewhere, but I have never gotten to them. Yet. I wonder how different my games (vanilla) will look.
SubRosa
King Coin: That is the Daedric Bow, well mostly. I made of copy of it with the same stats as an Elven Bow, and called it a Drow Bow. I retextured the arrows myself to add the red to the fletchings. They are a rather dull monotone otherwise.

That guy E9 is sneaking up on is in the Ratway, right outside of the Ragged Flagon.

That is the Sturdy Caravan Shotgun from one of the DLCs. There are four that give you a different set of gear to start the game with.

Acadian: The gargoyle is one of my fav summons in Skyrim so far. Though I have to admit I am more partial to Darryl the Draugr. I like his voice, and of course he has the same name as my brother!

FONV starts out in Goodsprings, which I believe is just on the other side of New Vegas from you. I looked around some with Google, and many of the locations in the game are there IRL. A few appear to be entirely new though.

Grits: Poor Ralof, I just cannot seem to stop making fun of him! The Daedric Bow is one of the few fantasy bows that I actually like. All those prickly parts do look like they would be painful to meet head on. The Skyrim version is actually the same as the one in Morrowind, though of course it looks better given the new graphics.

Your PS3 FO and NV should look the same as mine. I am not using any texture packs. I am not even sure if there are any for either game. I do have all the settings maxed out, but out of curiosity I checked, and found that FONV only uses half a gig of system memory when I run it. That is the same as what your PS3 has, so you can probably play it at about the same level of fidelity.

I think Doc Mitchell ought to look at Cheyenne's eyes...

Shi was my Glargg character, to get familiar with the game. Today I rolled a more permanent toon to beat the game with. Aurora is a science geek. Naturally she has the Four Eyes perk.

She is not thrilled with the baseball cap.

Aurora likes her new glasses much better.

Aurora's the hero Goodsprings deserves, but not the one it needs right now. She's a silent guardian, a watchful protector. A blond knight.

These hats just look silly. The Legion may be murdering slaving savages, but their outfits are cooler than the NCR's.

There's a new sheriff in town.

Peace out.
Acadian
Aurora – that’s a big name for a small character! I agree on the hats – she looks ever so much better hatless. The glasses look good though. And a little blond knight – I just love those! wink.gif
Grits
I love the new glasses! Is that Aurora's house in the last picture?

SubRosa
Acadian: I knew you would love the blond knight! Most of the hats do not look good when you have access to modded hair instead. But I did eventually find a decent cover for Aurora, that she sometimes wears.

Grits: I think of those as her John Lennon glasses! That is indeed Casa de Aurora that she is leaning in front of. It is one of the boarded up houses in Goodsprings that I modded to become a home.

This ought to be a Mojave postcard

Aurora has a companion

Aurora spies trouble ahead

Yep, that was trouble alright

Getting some sun

She wore a raspberry beret, the kind you get, from an NCR sniper...

Space ghouls!

To infinity and beyond!

A new team photo
Acadian
Love the postcard- I see that I-15 needs a little road work. What an adorable little hoverbot companion! What is his name? I mean it looks like a he to me. I really like the look of Aurora, with her slender and blond and glasses thing going. goodjob.gif
King Coin
Poor doggie! Doc should definitely look at that, since he seems to be able to reconstruct a brain…

Lol, I like her new glasses too. cool.gif She isn’t quite as good at hiding as batman is, but it’s a good effort…

I kind of like the hat with the goggles actually…

Nice um… postcard! biggrin.gif

ED-E! Boone and ED-E were my usual helpers.

I see she’s met Boone. Nice hat!

I would have liked Veronica (That’s her name right?) better if she wasn’t a melee companion.
SubRosa
Acadian: The I-95 is not the only place that needs a little work! Aurora's 'bot companion is named E-DE. He's actually one of the bad guy's robots from Fallout 3, who was sent west and got reprogrammed. I am not much for using companions in Bethesda's games, but so far he is the best.

King Coin: That is Veronica. Aurora found her some powered armor to wear not long after that, and gave her Pushy, which is quite stunning. I do not like her melee proclivities either though. Even when I set her to used ranged weapons, she is still running up to things, getting in my line of fire, and getting knocked unconscious. It drives me nuts too. I have only kept her around to do her quests. That and she is voiced by Felicia Day.

The Q-35 Matter Modulator makes short work of Deathclaws

Aurora and Veronica found... Cyrodiil?

Aurora tries on a set of Fiend armor

The Tri-Beam Laser combined with the Meltdown perk = Enemies Explode!

Aurora is now Queen of the Fiends

Finally, poor Ralof is just dying for another caption. Maybe: "Is she really taking her clothes off right here?"
King Coin
Cyrodiil: I’m looking for a legion rider in BoS armor! biggrin.gif

I really liked the various deathclaw areas in both FO3 and NV. They are tough!

Fiend armor doesn’t seem to suit her very well, but then again I haven’t been much of a fan of FO armors. I like the more standard looking ones, and of course the powered armor!

Queen: Hah! She should give that chainsaw to Veronica since she insists on running up to enemies. That thing is nasty!

Ralof looks unimpressed. Perhaps he’s thinking Don’t look too interested Don’t look too interested… laugh.gif
Acadian
The family resemblance between OB, SKY and FO is definitely there. The first shot could have almost been Anvil and the second is reminiscent of many stretches of Tamrielic road. TES with guns. tongue.gif

Urk!

Loved the "Quiet moment" between Helregin and Serana! Awesome shot! Damn, she killed Harkon? Grab that armor quick! Awesome! Do you have to kill him on the vampire side too? I didn't know that!

I like the improved male textures mod, much better imho. Ereshkigal is very pretty in that profile shot!

"Twilight" is Awesome! Beautiful shot!

The new imaging site is much faster, and love being able to see the screens full size!

Aurora looks like Harry Potter with that ball cap on, lol. She looks MUCH better with the cool new sunglasses !!! Love her in the Sheriff outfit and in the cool blue jammies hanging out in the back yard!

This next set I've already seen, I even wrote comments for! Where are they? Urk! Agreed on the postcard. LOVED "Getting some sun" - I loved every quest to repair those things! Nice binoculars, wish I'd have had them before walking into that mess of Deathclaws! Lol. Nice rasberry beret! The "Space Ghouls and down - this is where my game had a fatal crash twice, wiping out all saves! Loved that quest, finally got to see the rockets fly the second time - then crash. URK! Awesome to see your game continued with it, maybe they've fixed the fatal glitch!

And caught up - so sorry it took so long, and for spamming your thread!

SubRosa
King Coin: I do not like most of the raider or mercenary armors in the FO games either. Though I did like the Raider Badlands armor, because it looked like old clothes someone might actually wear.

Aurora gave Pushy to Veronica, a unique Power Fist thingie. It is really impressive, and makes this little energy explosion when she hits people.

Acadian: Whenever I see people clamoring for guns in the TES games (because what fantasy world is complete without tommy guns?) I always think "play a fallout game".

mALX: Yeah, Morrowblivion CTD'd a lot, and I was never able to fix that. It is one of the reasons I stopped playing it after about a month or so. That and it was just getting tedious.

Photobucket drove me crazy too with their new layout. So I moved to Imgur. I doubt I will ever reupload all those old pics though. That is just too much effort. I will probably stop paying for my Photobucket account though, so those pics will probably eventually vanish.

I find that the giants always leave my characters alone in Skyrim so long as I stay out of their campsites. That is the only time they get riled up and start shaking their clubs at me.

D'Eon was a party animal! My inns look more lively because a while back I created a mod for myself that adds more trainers. I put most of them in the inns, so it has the added side effect of making them look busier.

I had a lot of bugs in FONV too, though not usually with quests. Well, the one quest with the wild plants growing in the one vault was all screwed up. That one a game breaker too, forcing a conversation in Camp McCarren with that research assistant girl. After the convo was over, the game would never give me my hud back. So I could not move, could not fast travel, could not do anything but stand there. I had to go to an older save and use a console command to teleport to a different cell to escape with my game intact.

Astarte has been exploring the River Ethe (from Unique Landscapes)

She takes in the view from a tower

Meet Euryale, an Altmer refugee who fled to Skyrim to escape the Thalmor

Her armor is a family heirloom, dating back to the First Age.

Her face was horribly scarred when she was a child, during the Night of Green Fire, when her parents were killed by Thalmor agents in Sentinel.
Grits
The River Ethe looks so pretty!

And wow, a Gorgon!! Awesome. That is an amazing helm!

I was studying the tiny sliver of shield in her Morthal picture. Is that an elven one? She looks great!
Acadian
Your screens of Astarte always do a great job of reflecting that she is truly lost in time. Hauntingly so.

Euryale looks pretty terrifying in her Medusan garb! The last picture of her is absolutely stunning. Those scars do nothing to mar her face and classic looks. And I very much like how the armor looks more silver in the last shot. Is it different armor or just the lighting?
King Coin
I think if I get into Oblivion again, I’ll be adding Unique Landmasses. smile.gif So pretty.

I remember seeing Euryale’s armor on Nexus. Very intimidating looking set. I see why it’s called Medusa set.

She has a pretty face despite the scars. Especially compared to the mask. I understand why she wears it though.
SubRosa
Grits: The River Ethe was wonderful! I could not believe how far it went. All the way from the Strid nearly to Chorrol. It really makes going from Skingrad to Chorrol much more pleasant.

Euryale is a Gorgon indeed. I did not want to be too obvious by naming her Medusa. Besides, I used that name for my FO3 ghoul.

That was an elven shield indeed. So far that one seems to go the best with her armor.

Acadian: As much as I love playing Astarte, it can be a little disheartening, because she is so sad, and so out of place.

That was just the lighting that made the difference between the armor in the two pics. The first one was taken place inside an inn, next to a roaring fire. So it has a very vibrant reddish light shining against it. The second one was taken on an somewhat cloudy day, so the lighting was softer and more diffuse, making the armor seem less brilliant. It is actually normally somewhere between those two.

King Coin: Some of the Unique Landscapes mods were really amazing. Like the Brena River Ravine and River Ethe. Others made me scratch my head and wonder why anyone bothered wasting their time making them. So they are real hit or miss.

I saw that armor on the Nexus and knew I had to play a character based off of it. It all came together when I found the XCE scar mod. I combined three of the scars into one to make the ones marring Euryale's face. Unlike my other characters, she usually wears her helmet when she is in towns, and takes it off in dungeons and out in the wilderness.

Moon over Dawnstar

Euryale met the local priest

...and helped him take out some of the trash

Euryale puts down an unfriendly Vigilant

Euryale met Lucia, which is another way of saying she is a mommy now.

I had no idea you could jump up here

Euryale and Isran are having a contest to see who looks less impressed.
Acadian
Moon over Dawnstar is gorgeous! It looks like a beautiful scene right out of an animated Disney movie like Beauty and the Beast. Lovely!

Lucia’s adorable!

Love the shot of Euryale and Isran. Looks like he realizes he’s lost the snake comparing contest. tongue.gif
King Coin
Dawnstar was one of those towns that I wondered why it was there. Now I see, for fabulous moon and lights shots! Also I see the Khajiit caravans.

That Medusa armor looks very fitting for an Altmer. Looks like something the Thalmor would put on.

Aravi has mixed feelings about the Vigilants. They would kill her if they knew what she was, and I’m sure they’ve killed a fair share of ‘daedra worshippers.’ But then removing vampires and other dangerous creatures is worthy. Hmm.

I’m surprised Lucia doesn’t run away from that mask! ohmy.gif

Isran! rollinglaugh.gif
Elisabeth Hollow
Whoa! That helmet is cool!
Grits
What a lovely night in Dawnstar! Is Euryale planning to build in the Pale?

Were those Vigilants hostile? Allek and Marcurio made a point to take out any that they met, but that was because they were always loaded down with Daedric artifacts. Sadly the Vigilants always failed to notice, but they killed them just in case.

Cute picture of Lucia and her new mommy. smile.gif

Love the one with Isran. He’s bold to try a staring contest with a mask and six snakes.
SubRosa
Acadian: I walked up onto that scene at Dawnstar, and just had to take a picture. That is one of the things I just love about Oblivion and Skyrim. Just walking around and looking at the game world can be as rewarding as the gameplay itself.

I love that staring contest pic too. That is why I had to take it while that scene played out.

King Coin: The golden color makes the Medusa Armor work well for an Altmer I think. Not to mention the Altmer height makes the whole thing so much more intimidating.

If Lucia wasn't a homeless beggar she might run! But the snake-lady is the only game in town... wink.gif

You had me rolling with that link of Morgan Freeman! laugh.gif

Elisabeth Hollow: I saw that helmet on the Nexus and just knew I had to base a character around it. It is one of the most amazing mods I have ever seen.

Grits: Euryale wound up building in Morthal Hold (whatever the name of the place is Hjjalmarch?) Mainly because it is the only location I have had not had a character build a house at before. Ever since I got Hearthfire, not one of my characters has bought one of the vanilla houses, or used any of the homes I have modded in the past. So far they all build a HF house.

Those Vigilants were hostile. They attacked Euryale on sight. I think she somehow picked up a bounty. Thomas Kaira's lock-bashing mod sometimes causes weird glitches, where it thinks you bashed open a lock in public, even though you were nowhere near a lock. Then it gives you a little bounty for it because there are people around. I think Euryale had Dawnbreaker by then, so they should have attacked her for that. At least if Bethesda had actually made them the deadra hunters they are supposed to be. I actually did mod Revansch's game to make them all hostile on sight, given her being undead and all.

Whiterun Sunset

Lending a hand to a Spriggan

"It is a truth universally acknowledged, that a single man in possession of a good fortune must be in want of a wife. However little known the feelings or views of such a man may be on his first entering a neighbourhood, this truth is so well fixed in the minds of the surrounding families, that he is considered as the rightful property of some one or other of their daughters."

Into the unknown
Grits
That is a beautiful sky over Whiterun.

ROFL Dexion reading Pride and Prejudice!

I love that picture with the spriggan. She and Euryale are posed perfectly.

Serana looks like she’s about to give Euryale a shove into the Soul Cairn. Serana’s mom had some nice things in her study. It would be a lovely spot to relax, apart from the portal in the middle.
King Coin
Very pretty sunrise. Do you use any graphics mods? With those two 670's I bet you could do a lot.

Pride an Prejudice is it? I was imagining a Sweetroll recipe! tongue.gif

I've seen Sprigs vs hargravens before. Unlike your characters, Aravi ends up shooting both of them.

The snakes on the armor look kind of eager to go in the portal. laugh.gif
Acadian
Sunset is a fantastic shot of a golden patch of Skyrim!

The Skysprigs certainly look less sultry than their OB counterparts; That sprig looks bedecked in Oblivion glass armor. tongue.gif

Love the scroll-reading shot and the characters in it.

Into the unknown – I hope Euryale comes back with her snakes intact!
SubRosa
Grits: I just could not resist the P&P reference when looking at that picture of Dexion with the scroll (am I the only one who thinks Dexy's Midnight Runners when seeing his name btw?)

That study is an alchemist's delight! It is like Nightcaller Temple in Dawnstar, a treasure trove of goodies!

King Coin: I do not use any lighting mods, if that is what you mean. Except for one that removes the desaturation effect from the game, so you can see colors normally. I do use a whole slew of HD texture mods for everything from items to faces to the world map, as well as distant detail mods.

I see those sprig vs hag battles a lot, but my characters usually never have to fight the spigs afterward. Not with my Animal Friend mod, or my Shout to Spell mod that makes Kyne's Peace a Novice illusion spell.

Acadian: I loved that sunset, so I could not resist stopping to take a picture.

Euryale did come back with all of her snakes still attached. Not to mention her soul too! I wrapped things up with her after leaving the Soul Cairn and coming back to Tamriel.

Writing the current chapter of the TF has inspired me to recreate Aela in Skyrim

The real breakthrough with playing her was creating a mod that would let her summon Aedric spirits, such as this Flaming Familiar

Relaxing by the fire

Aela is glad that animals like Witches

This is where the Bandit said: "You're a fool to fight me!"

Going for a walk with the town skank
Acadian
Yay, Aela! She did travel well. Congrats on your mod to make Aedric summonings. Aela looks like she is part of the Clan of the Cave Bear! smile.gif
Grits
It’s great to see Aela in Skyrim. You did such a great job with her features!

With Aela’s animal allies and Aedric summonings she must be tremendous fun to play. That picture where she’s petting the bear is my favorite. wub.gif
King Coin
Aela is a Breton right? She looks like one. Pretty. All the human woman I make scare mALX.

I loved the Flaming Familiar, I just wish that it got stronger when you leveled. It’s pretty useless at 30+ level.

Her fire is really close to Aravi’s house! She should just walk a little farther down the road and pop in for a warm meal and bed.

I really like that pictures with the bear! happy.gif
SubRosa
Acadian: Aela has been a lot of fun to play. The Cave Bear was a welcome find in that dungeon, as she ran into way too many bandits for her to handle shortly afterward. Thankfully she had her furred friend to run back to.

Grits: Aela is my first character in a long time that I have used my Animal Friend mod with. Most of my characters use the Kyne's Peace spell I modded into the game to keep from killing every animal in sight. Though the warrior types who are always looking for a fight like Helregin do kill every animal in sight. Well, the ones worth a warrior's effort. There is hardly an honor in killing rabbits after all.

The Salamander and Frost Wyrm take some getting used to as summonings. They move so fast and have that fx glowing all over them, that it can be hard to see exactly where they are. Or anything else for that matter. Sometimes the screen just fills up with flames, and I cannot tell what is going on. Rather impressive though.

King Coin: Aela is a Breton alright. I modded out the wrinkly foreheads a long time ago. I modded her Flaming Familiar so it does not explode, and gave it the similar stats to a wolf. It makes for a good entry level summon, but get weak later. on.

Aela is thinking buying land in Falkreath Hold, so she and Aravi might end up being neighbors! biggrin.gif

A draugr seen though Aela's Ward

Summoned Salamander

"You sleazy little man!"

Magic duel

Wonder who this poor lost soul was?

I tried out the UNP Body for the improved hands

However, I found that with UNP, the weight slider only effects breast size and to a smaller extent hip size. The rest of the body never changes. It turns into a boob slider instead. Clearly it is a mod for guys who like skinny women with big fake breasts. So I got rid of the body meshes, but kept the hand and foot meshes, and the body texture. It looks pretty good, and I can still make big or small girls.
King Coin
Trying out wards eh? They become more useful when you get perks and wear equipment that reduces magic cost or restoration spells. Also, the lesser ward dual cast is pretty good.

Love the Salamander! Are you going to release this mod eventually? Olivia uses conjuration.

Magic dual looks cool. smile.gif

My favorite pic you have ever taken. Lost Soul is AMAZING in every way!

I use UNP but I keep the weight settings low and use the slim version. Has a well proportioned body for that. However if the weight slider only affects the breasts and rear, that is certainly not good for characters with a larger build. rolleyes.gif I use a mod that lets you define unique meshes and textures for the PC so I don't get any of that BS with the NPCs. The hands and feet look good with the default body meshes.
Grits
The salamander looks amazing!

I love Lost Soul. That is just a perfect picture. (And from that jaw I'd guess he was a Nord!)
Acadian
Beautiful colors and detail in those screens. I think the ward effects look really neat. Oh, I love Aela’s robes – simple but just perfect, with fantastic detail. She looks great in her skivvies; hard to imagine that she started out as a fella! wink.gif
SubRosa
King Coin: I have had other characters use wards. Amaterasu used them a lot. They are perfect for Aela, with her being a Restoration mage. I noticed something about them tonight. They completely stop poison spit attacks!

I don't think I will ever release the aedra summonings mod. It has some issues, not the least of which being that none of the creatures are original! I am having a problem with the Frost Wyrm leaving a frozen goo pile whenever it is killed or dispelled. I cannot figure out why. And I still have not figured what to name the flaming wolf either.

I probably would have kept the UNP Skinny body if not for the way you cannot make bigger characters. It would have been fine for Aela, who is slight of frame, but many of my other characters are meant to be muscular and big framed. Which is just impossible with UNP.

Grits: I had to tweak the salamander's visuals some. I got rid of the flames all over it, as I was having trouble seeing where it was!

I think Lost Soul was an Imperial. Look at those teeth! That guy was a milk-drinker for sure! wink.gif

Acadian: Aela has been wearing the vanilla enchanted mages robes. They change colors with the higher level versions. She went to a blue one, and is now on a brown one. I have always loved how they look. Much better than those green bags we were stuck with in Oblivion! biggrin.gif

Aela is off to get some schoolin'

That dual-casted ward KC had mentioned

A side view

Aela has some new bling

Aela and her Cyclone go toe to toe with a Draugr Wight

The Draugr's POV
Acadian
Yay, Aela’s a college girl now; and her robes are indeed much nicer than the old university green bags.

I still quite like the ward effect. Both the concept and the visuals.

Finally got that girl a circlet for some bling!

I wouldn’t want to be that Draugr Wight!
SubRosa
Acadian: Aela's a college girl now. Time for wild parties, seeing green, people being turned into horses. And that is just from one of the other students!

I was actually looking for a circlet for her for some time, but nothing looked right. Finally that one was dumped in her lap by the Arch-mage. It would have been rude not to wear it.

I like the wards too. I decided to incorporate them into the TF. We will be seeing Aela using one in a few episodes.

Those ancient Dwemer made the screwiest things

Aela at the controls

This does not look good...

Nor does this!

Slugging it out with DracoBones

You Shall Not Pass!

Two mages and a Dragon Priest

Do people actually wear these Dragon Priest masks? It is going to the bottom of Aela's closet.

Waterwalking boots make it a lot easier to get around Morthal

War is declared, and battle come down.

I think Aela broke it!
Grits
That’s the mask that doubles magicka regen rate, right? My Altmer Hale wore it. He also wore fur armor and wielded an ancient Nord battle axe, so I’d say he made some questionable style choices.

I love the bone dragon pictures! So neat to see him from different views. smile.gif
King Coin
Ok another busy week on my end so I will try to catch up tomorrow with your story.

Schoolin’: That face! rollinglaugh.gif Aela looks pretty, I think the woman in front of her is jeeeaalous!

Wards are pretty. smile.gif

Bling has a fantastic backdrop for Aela. The lighting works well for the screen too.

Where is the absorb effect coming from in the Draugr pic? I’ve never seen that from one of them before.

At the controls: Captain Aela! biggrin.gif

I never really figured out what was special about that sphere…

Holy crap it has been a long time since I fought the bone dragon. That was COOL!

Those masks won’t fit on Aravi. They look ugly anyways.

Nice boots!
Acadian
I think the Dwemer are a fun way to create odd and otherwise anachronistic contraptions. I know I like their complicated wizfangled stable heaters.

Aela, as a pure mage looks like great fun to play – I’m sure her hair color helps her have more fun. Yikes, a Skelliedragonbagobonez! More of that *cue broken record* very cool ward effect. Aela has a nice staff – no no, not that kind, she lost that years ago; I mean her magical one. What kind of magic does it produce? Cool waterwalking boots; do they come from Cyrodiil? I really like ‘War is declared’ – Aela looks so well put together and the dude behind her looks like he is away with the fairies, dancing with himself. tongue.gif

Oh, and she's right; that helmet is fuggggly!
SubRosa
Grits: That is the priest mask that doubles magicka regen rate alright. It is from the end of the Mages College quest.

Are you still playing Hale? If so, I think we need to have a fashion intervention!

The bone dragon was a real eye-opener! Aela is my first character to finish the College of Winterhold questline. So that was a surprise. He went down awful easy though.

King Coin: I thought the same thing about the woman Aela is following! I think someone stole her sweetroll... wink.gif

That is Aela's absorb spell, not the draugr's. I created a mod a long while back that added Absorb Health spells to the game. It was more complicated than I expected, because for some reason the absorb effect will not level your skills. So what I had to do a little sleight of hand with the game. I made the Absorb effect cost nothing, then created a new effect I called Damage Health. Rather than using an absorb, it is a straight value modifier, like other damaging spells. I made the cost for that really high. Then I added 1 point of that Damage Health effect to every Absorb spell. Because it has the highest cost, the game uses that to determine skill leveling, rather than the absorb effect.

Acadian: The Dwemer are basically an excuse to add Steampunk elements into the ES games are they not? Some of their stuff does look really neat.

Aela likes her new staff much better than the one she was born with! This one is the reward for the Mages Guild questline. It absorbs 20 points of magicka, and if the target is out of magicka, it absorbs health instead. So you can blast away with a spell in one hand, and use the staff in the other to recharge your magicka from your enemy's own blue.

Technically her boots came from Solstheim. The Waterwalking effect was added by the Dragonborn dlc, which takes place there. I made a mod a few days ago to add some pairs to regular Skyrim.

That guy behind Aela is Tolfdir. He's one of the College professors, and is your basic absentminded wizard. So with the faeries is right!

You can't get me, nyah nyah nyah nyah

Aela vows to avenge this poor soul

This is not Superman's hangout

Slugging it out inside Azura's Star

The Star's creator

Aela made a friend
Grits
Oh how I’ve missed Waterwalking! I love that shot with the assassin!! rollinglaugh.gif

Wow, Aela’s Ward came in handy inside Azura’s Star I imagine.

I’m amazed by how the vanilla game makes that shrine just about invisible. I’ve only had one character stumble upon it, and they all walk right by at some point or another.

How fun to follow Aela’s adventures in pictures. Is Aranea going to tag along for a while?
Acadian
Waterwalking. . . what do the kids say? FTW!

‘Avenge this poor soul’ reminds me so much of that quest where each of our girls ‘rescued’ poor Grantham Blakely from the bowels of the ill-fated Emma May.

That ice crystal land does sort of look Supermanish!

Love the shot of the Lady of Star and Moon, dawn and dusk.

I’m still liking Aela’s outfit!
King Coin
rollinglaugh.gif So much more satisfying dealing with assassins that way!

Azura’s star is so pretty!

How’s the new friend? Handy in a fight? I haven’t had a chance to use many followers because Aravi likes one of them quite a bit.
SubRosa
Grits: Waterwalking makes it a lot easier getting around in the Rift. You can just walk across the lakes and along the rivers.

Aela's ward was very handy in Azura's Star! That place is a meatgrinder! You know I have never gotten to the end of it? I always kill the last dremora before I am even half-way through, and immediately get sent back by Azura.

I know what you mean about Azura's Shrine. If it were not for the mod that makes it visible from a distance, I would never see it either.

Acadian: I can see why the Avenge pic makes you think that. The castle it is located in is partly submerged, and the lighting is the same. The dead guy is a fisherman too as it turns out, so a cousin to a sailor like Grantham.

King Coin: I love the inside of Azura's Star! That was one of the neatest places in Skyrim.

Areana is a very handy follower. She likes to use lightning. Hera had her tagging along for a while.

Aela's game sort of ran out of steam after finishing the College, so I rebooted Hrafngoelir

She is still devoted to West Coast Choppers Mighty Talos

And is still searching for her mother

Still, she takes the time to put the smack down on bandits while she searches

And to fight for Skyrim's freedom

Sabotage!
Acadian
‘Bye, Aela – see you in TF! Welcome back H-10! Two blondes in a row; see, they really do have more fun! By the Eight, I hear Talos worship is rather unpopular in some parts. Hope she finds her mother, but is beheading everyone with her axe and looking down their throats the best search strategy? biggrin.gif

Fabulous screenshots! Sitting in front of the moon is beautiful. And dancing on the table is fun!
Grits
Great to see more of Hrafngoelir!

That’s a neat pose at the Talos shrine. I never noticed that the Talos symbol looks like an axe.

I just love Hrafn’s new carved Nordic outfit! As great as it looks on men, I think it looks even better on women.

That picture with the Stormcloaks is my favorite. And that is a beautiful shield!

Who is that on the table? Is that the guy who owns Hollyfrost Farm outside the city! tongue.gif Someone ordered a head on a platter, and he got confused!
SubRosa
Acadian: I am sure I will pick up Aela (or would that be A4? wink.gif) in Skyrim again. Or in Oblivion! Hrafn is going to kill everyone who gets in the way of finding her mother! biggrin.gif

Grits: That is the Hollyfrost Farm guy on the table! Honest work, but a bit dull. I guess dancing on the Jarl's table is how Skyrim farmers loosen up after a hard day at the plow!

I am really liking the Carved Nordic Armor. The Nordic shield is a little over the top though. That is why I went to an alternate from the Skyforged Shields mod. It only has two basic textures, with the color changing according to the type of material it is made from. That is the Heavy Steel version.

I always thought the Talos symbol was a sword hilt, pointed down. The horizontal part is the crossbar, above it is the grip, then the two arches are the same as an antennae style pommel the Celts used to love. It always makes me think of the West Coast Choppers German cross.

The Battle of Whiterun

I think Ralof looks better with the guard helmet, rather than a Hide Helmet (though of course I have an open helmet mod)

Liberating Solitude is hard enough, without Jaree trying to recruit Hrafn to help him plunder a ship!

After the war, Hrafn hooked up with Ralof

Hrafn is my first character to ever get married
Acadian
Eeep! Is that a bear, permanently frozen into trying eat Hrafn’s head? tongue.gif

Looking at Liberating Solitude. . . is that an. . . arrow to her. . you know. . . nah, that would ruin her days as an adventuress. wink.gif

Ralof looks cool! Aww, and a nice wedding! happy.gif

Now, would their offspring be human or bear? Or is that perhaps positionally dependent? "Roll over, woman, we're going for cubs!" biggrin.gif
Grits
I always thought the Talos symbol was a downward-pointing sword, but now I see a symmetrical axe blade shape as the crossguard. Neat. smile.gif

Congratulations to the happy couple! Hrafn looks beautiful in her wedding gown, and I love the way Ralof’s armor matches. biggrin.gif Did they propose at the Talos shrine? That open steel plate helm looks great!

The Battle for Whiterun always makes me sad. Thankfully there aren’t any civilians about unlike in Solitude where apparently the scum never stops recruiting. That picture with Jaree-Ra is hilarious!

Lol, Acadian’s comment makes me wonder if Hrafn will indeed retire to the life of a guard! tongue.gif
