Blood Moon is a spectacular shot and so appropriate for Blood Raven. Beautifully haunting sky and love the swans. Red Sky and Arcane power are rather similar also great shots.

Acadian: Meridia is pretty pushy in Skyrim. She sounds like her name is Karen and she just found the manager. Nevermind how weird it is that Blood Raven is undead and a vampire herself (though not the Skyrim kind of vamp), and yet Meridia is sending her forth to smite the undead. Using Dawnbreaker as an undead character is really weird. The Turn effect sets you on fire after it explodes. It does not do much damage, but it got annoying pretty fast.


Lopov: I picked that hair/helmet combo in particular because for one the hair does not clip through the front of the helmet, and the back leaves the ponytail open.

Acadian: Blood Raven does indeed leave all the reanimating to others. It is not her style. She is much more of a get it done yourself kind of person. So bunnies are all safe around her.

Acadian: So far I have not had a single character go the Vaermina route.

One of those two dragons was Parthanux, so it was a 2 vs. 1 in the other direction.


Lopov: I am using a mod that eliminates falling damage to use with January and Blood Raven. Since they are superheros, they can leap off of anything and always do the cool superhero landing.

That Lopov shot was taken in Sovngarde, before fighting Alduin there and clearing away the fog.

Blood Raven did indeed just save the world. It is what she does.

Lopov: I have a mod that adds swans and ducks to the rivers and lakes. They don't really do anything other than float around. But they are a nice addition to the scenery.


Acadian: Blood Raven is headed to Boston rather than the D, coming right up.

I love the idea of Darryl having a sister.


macole: I occasionally see holes like that in Skyrim. It is an entire cell not rendering the surface of the water. It is kind of neat, because you can see the cell borders when this happens. It shows just how small each one really is.

WellTemperedClavier: Blood Raven as a literary character for years before I ever created her in a game. I think Skyrim was the first time I did that in fact, just a few months ago. It is nice to actually see her.

Are there vampires in Fallout? I mean besides Blood Raven.

A flying house - that sounds fabulous!

Acadian: There are no vampires in fallout. They do have ghouls, but they are not supernatural creatures, just people mutated by radiation who look like zombies. Some are feral, and attack everyone they see. Some are 'normal', and just look different. They do have extremely long life spans, perhaps immortality (save for catching bullets of course).

I just play Blood Raven as a normal character with glowing red eyes. My only change to the rules is that she cannot use Stimpacks for healing like everyone else. Instead I modded the blood packs in the game to provide the same healing benefits. I also took some traits from a trait mod I use to help simulate vampirism, such as regeneration. It has lots of other traits you can pick to customize your character beyond the normal perks you can learn as you level up. Most of my characters take one or two. For example, Hecate always has the Four Eyes trait, which gives you a bonus to Perception when you wear glasses, and penalty if you do not.

The big guy is a Super Mutant Behemoth. Super Mutants are like ghouls, in that they are both mutants, and they apparently do not die of old age. Instead Super Mutants get larger and larger the older the become. The oldest ones are like these Behemoths, gigantic. They are one of the biggest boss enemies in the game.

Blood Raven emerging from the flames reminds me of a fave snip from a vid I like. Bear with me. The tiny scene in question only runs from 0:50 to 0:55 in this vid: Xena - Holding Out for a Hero. I think the significance for me is that, in many ways, Buffy views her magnificent pal Sir Mazoga to be rather like Xena.

Acadian: If you do not wear a hard hat in certain areas, the construction protectrons will attack you. Talk about safety first!

Acadian: The Fallout 4 game engine applies that 'wet' look to your character when it rains, which is really neat.

That critter is a Mirelurk Queen. It is one of the top boss monsters in the game.


macole: I don't think anyone is happy to be in the post-apocalyptic wasteland. Except maybe the super-mutants.

I also like how you are able to make your characters "fit" from game to game. Joan and Raven both stay true to their looks in both Morrowind and Oblivion, with only the artists' conception of them (represented by the different visual approaches in each game) changes a bit.

Okay, I just looked Sword Coast up. Seems this is a game called Forgotten Realms?

Another fun world for Blood Raven to explore! Is she playing solo? Wow, those rats are bigger than she is!

Renee, I think Forgotten Realms is the over arching realm for Dungeons and Dragons games such as Baldur's Gate I & II, Icewind Dale and others. I think Blood Raven here is in a game called Neverwinter Nights.

Renee: Those are from game Neverwinter Nights 1. It is set in D&D Forgotten Realms campaign setting. Most the D&D games have been set there for the last 20 or 30 years. Before then they had a different setting called Greyhawk. I am not sure if Greyhawk is even around any more. Though it might still be. They also had another setting called Dragonlance, which was huge when it came out. But the Forgotten Realms/Faerun/Sword Coast seems to be the main setting they have used for a while now.


Acadian: I did play Blood Raven completely solo in NWN. You could only get 1 companion maximum anyhow. And the way experience works, you get less for having a companion, familiar, animal sidekick, or even use summonings. I went pure solo to max out the XP, as I was doing the multi-class. She ended up something like a 10th level Fighter and 8th level Sorcerer.

Those rats were actually were-rats! An entire gang of pirates was made up entirely of them. Definitely a weird slant.

Acadian: The bomb was deep sixed thanks to the kid from Vault 101 (in this case by 'kid' we mean Blood Raven).

Her zapper is the standard Laser Rifle. I am using a graphics reskin that makes it look prettier. But otherwise, it is lots of red light.

Welcome back to Skyrim, Blood Raven! That castle is certainly more than a match for the Dawnguard castle. Very neat that it is perched up where only crows, ravens and eagles soar. Oh my, the Dawnguard reference conjured up images of Blood Raven adventuring with Serana.
