Acadian: I guess it has been so long since I have played Hecate that everyone has forgotten who she was.

The Summer season mod I am using for Fallout 4 makes the Commonwealth a lot more appealing.

I was pleased that I was able to get a January reference in there somewhere.

Welcome back to Hecate - as soon as I saw the name I remembered her well. Your first shot is fabulous - sniper and her big gurl gun. Some great action shots in there too! tongue.gif
Lopov
Hecate, the vampire with fancy sunglasses.

Nosferatu art reminds me of raider art from Fallout.

Stunning architecture indeed!

"Buy German!" biggrin.gif rollinglaugh.gif
Acadian
Hecate seems to be prospering in LA. And eating well too. tongue.gif

Glad you and she are enjoying this vampire game!
SubRosa
Lopov: Most Nosferatu are much nicer than Raiders. That particular Nossie had gone over the deep end, even for a vampire. One of the interesting thing about Vampire The Masquerade is that you are all monsters. It is just a question of how much a monster you are willing to be.

I love those Queen Anne style houses. They are always in haunted houses movies!

If he had bought German, he wouldn't have ended up in that creepy alley with a pair of teeth in his neck...

Acadian: Hecate has been on a diet lately. But she might have developed a bit of a drinking problem... wink.gif

I used to play Vampire The Masquerade back in my tabletop RPG days. So the video game is a stroll down memory lane. So far it is been lots of fun. It also helps that I have been doing some background work on Blood Raven from the Stormcrow fic in the last few days. She is a vampire, so I have been digging into vampire lore from games like VtM and novels like Dracula to decide how her vamp powers work.

Burnin’ down the house looks straight out of a scary movie!

Wow, WTF definitely gets worse - bewbs?!? blink.gif

General Urko looks like an orc. wink.gif
Lopov
Too bad the beautiful house needed to be burnt down. kvleft.gif

You lopoved her nicely. As long as the game isn't in 1st person only, it's possible to make Lopov shots in every game. cool.gif

Took me a while to figure out that it's Hecate covered in blood.

Catch 22!

And I thought that Spider Daedra are creepy. indifferent.gif
SubRosa
Acadian: Unfortunately the dinosaurs were all just statues, not real. Imagine vampire dinosaurs?

There are some really monstrous monsters in this game.

Lopov: I am using an unofficial patch, which is the only reason I can do the Lopovs. The vanilla game only gives you the behind the back camera. The patch allows you to go pan the camera around to see your face.

Hecate in Red is the Blood Shield power. It gives you armor of blood. It is really awesome, it stops almost everything.

Ogami and Sharkboy look like enemies from some Japanese comic books.

The woman wielding the crossbow is on Hecate's side?

Hecate set the town on fire.

Is that Chulthu-like creature a boss character of sort?

Time for Hecate to return to the Commonwealth.

Acadian
Sharkboy, what big teeth you have!

Even werewolves roam the city.

Nice pics. Looks like you and Hecate quite had some fun with this game! tongue.gif
SubRosa
Lopov: Sharkboy is technically a Hengeokai (I am so spelling that wrong), so he really is a mythological Japanese creature. I thought that was a nice touch. He is also really tough.

The girl with the crossbow is Yukie, a Japanese vampire hunter. She and Hecate teamed up to kill sharkboy, who was Yukie's enemy. Yukie showed up later in the endgame to help Hecate out. I thought that was really cool.

The Cthulhu creature is the big boss Chinese vampire lady. She is one of the toughest bosses in the game.

Acadian: I like that Sharkboy was a Hammerhead. After the Great Whites, they are my favorite sharks. They just look so cool.

Werewolves in the World of Darkness are really nasty critters, basically magical rage monsters. They are way more powerful than vampires. That was a close fight.

Hecate had lots of fun as a vampire mage. But she still prefers sniper rifle, and one shot, for one kill...

Welcome to NWN, January! I remember the monk form BGII being a pretty good class. Looks like you and she are having fun! smile.gif
Lopov
January will make them punch and kick until they're cold like her name.
SubRosa
Acadian: It is nice to get back to gold of fashioned D&D dungeon crawling. January was the perfect character to bring along.

Lopov: I went with the name January for a number of reasons. First that is her name in the Stormcrow fic of course, which is where her inspiration comes from. In that her name was originally August. She changed it to January because it is the first month of year, perfect for a fresh start. Also because Janus was the two-headed god, ruler of doorways and transitions. Perfect for a transgendered person like January. Finally, because of January Jones.

Skeletons bow down to January.

If that fight is average, how must above-average look like. laugh.gif

Lizards look cool.
Acadian
Quite a variety of foes as the Stormcrow whups firedudes, mummies, skellies, humans and lizards! tongue.gif
SubRosa
Lopov: The above-average fights are even worse! This game is filled with mobs. Thankfully there are perks like Cleave and Circle Kick that allow you to attack multiple opponents in the same round. And at higher levels you get 3 or 4 attacks per round normally.

Acadian: There are lots of different critter types in NWN, which I like. Sometimes games like Skyland or Oblivion seem rather limited in their creatures.

When it comes to dragons, looks like she went from the freezer into the frying pan with the ice & fire from them. So glad that Jan’s Stormcrow cape is indeed fireproof.

Sniffing glue – haha – those are indeed some groovy special effects going off.
SubRosa
Acadian: The squeaky wheel gets the kick!

SubRosa
Wasn't Mr. Hand the teacher in Fast Times At Ridgemont High that gave Kevin Spicolli a hard time all year, then helped him with his history test at the very end? Here it is!
Lopov
Yuck! Covered in slime!

Oh, it's the Beholder.

Go for the eyes, Boo Jan!

It's the purple man materialized.
Acadian
Wow, what a variety of foes Jan fights in these shots. Dark elves, spider daedra, flesh astronauts and zombies. Best of all was the trio in the library - Wing Gurl, Vulture Dude and Big Red Bonehead. tongue.gif

And all solo it appears!
SubRosa
One thing I did like about Hordes of the Underdark is that it adds a lot more monsters, like Mind Flayers, Beholders, Gelatinous Cubes, Driders, and so forth. There are a lot more baddies to smite!

All solo until the very end, when I teamed up with Aribeth (from the original NWN campaign).

Wow, that game is full of interesting encounters/foes. The beholders look pretty scary - the ones in ESO have lots of eyes but no mouth. Grats to January for completing the game!
Acadian
So glad you're sorting out the interface differences and getting everything to work okay. Wow, January looks great. I very much like her look and she is really stylin' with that hat! In fact the game seems to look pretty good. Glad you and January are enjoying it. smile.gif
Lopov
Nice team you put up together. Khelgar reminds me of a dwarf protagonist I had in Baldur's Gate.

That creature (a ghoul perhaps?) is going to feel Jan's boot.

Yeah, I was right! Now Khelgar is after its cojones.

Good combat shots.
Acadian
Welcome to the badlands, January! How perfect to think in terms of attributing some of the gizmos to Gadget! Love the bird logo on her chest and lovely eye color. Looks like she's true to her monk origins and relying on martial artistry to slay those baddies. Patriotic Lopov is a beautiful shot!
Acadian
Aww, she looked away at the last moment from the Lopov shot.

Golden hair sneaking in the golden leaves. Shhhh.

Weather Witch looks gloomy today.

Fisticuffs in the attack!

Reverse Lopov. Nice. . . canteen. wink.gif

Acadian
Wow, Morrowblivion is pretty much just what it sounds like! Never touched MW, but have seen enough vids/screens of TES III to see how much nicer this looks.
SubRosa
Morroblivion is nice in that it alleviates the annoyances of Morrowind, but still lets you play in Vvardenfell. I enjoy it more than playing Morrowind.

Acadian
Aside from that goulish swimmer, MW looks nice and January looks quite happy in its swamps and badlands. Haha, RATS. . . it's always rats!
Lopov
Is that pretty in the first picture one of the 6th house abominations?

In swamps with a smile.

Better to play in the weeds than with weed.

The sky over Firemoth looks ominous.

I bet that Lady Saga summoned all those rats.
SubRosa
Acadian: I think the swamps are my favorite part of Morrowind. They have a very lively feel. Plus I cannot feel the humidity or get stung by the mosquitoes...

Lopov: That was a Corprus Walker, one of the 6th House monsters. I have no idea how he ended up in the ocean. Out taking a bath I suppose!

Isn't he a cutie?

Once upon a rainbow

Want to go for a stroll?

Somebody has a drinking problem

I didn't know rats came that small!
Acadian
January looks like she's quite enjoying MorrowindyBlivion. On the rats, I know what you mean. Most of the rats Buffy sees in Tamriel are bigger than she is - or at least outweigh her. tongue.gif
Lopov
Isn't she a cutie?

Somewhere over the rainbow.

I hope they left something for Jan in those bottles.

The smaller rat, the better rat.
Lopov
Jan is an animal friend.

I always wondered why do they have so big hoods if their skulls are so small?

Swimming like a true Argonian.

I agree with Jan's note.

Vivec sewers?
Acadian
A guar! They did a wonderful job with the guar in ESO.

I love the pensive pose January is using in some of these shots.

Shady Slim is one wierd looking. . . thing.

Ahh, dungeon crawling!
SubRosa
Lopov: I love those four armed, slender man skeletons. They are just so weird!

Jan was actually in the lowest levels of one of the ancient Dunmer strongholds. It looks the same as the Vivec sewers though.

Acadian: The guar are really cute. At least as Morrowind animals go. There does not seem to be any mammals in the region.

Slim Shady is a Bonelord. They don't have them in ESO?

Showers

Bitter Coast sunset

Dwemer ruins

Brokeback Mountain

Ghostgate
Acadian
ESO does have boneheads bondlords but they are basically a variant of NPC necrodude baddies. They also have bone colossuses which are sort of like bone astronauts atronachs.

Darn, was hoping it might have occurred to Jan to remove her armor before showering. tongue.gif

Beautiful scenics! I especially liked the Bitter Coast Sunset. happy.gif
