Lopov: The friendly dragon was from that brief period when I had added January to the Dragon Faction.
Those werebears were at a fixed location. There were three of them in the central highlands, a little north and west of the Temple of Miraak. They immediately turned hostile and attack Jan.
Acadian: January is more frilly than the dragon!
After doing the Reiklings quests, January got a trio of Riekling followers who would just appear sometimes when she was in the icy parts of Solstheim, but never in the warmer, southern areas.
I changed January's eyes to a glowing version when she went to Sovngarde. I wanted to show that she was transformed by the experience. That is why I changed her armor too.
Renee: When January went to Sovngarde I wanted to show that traveling beyond life and death had changed her. So I gave her glowing eyes, and the new suit of armor. Being exotic was actually appropriate. So I leaned into it. She is a superhero in Skyrim now, like she is other places.
The goblins are Rieklings. They were in the original Bloodmoon expansion for Morrowind, and are back in the Dragonborn dlc for Skyrim. They are sort of similar to goblins, and ride giant boars.

I like the throne in the Ogre pic, it looks to be made from some giant skeleton.
It's good that Mather cured himself of lycanthropy else he might get pwned.
Are those fishmen Kuo-Toa?
That dragon looks kinda small.

Lopov: Those were drakes. Pillars of Eternity does not have Wyverns. They are essentially the same thing though.
The fishmen are Laugerfeth, an aquatic race of monsters added by the White March dlcs.
The dragon looks pretty big when you are standing in front of it!
Acadian: January grew up with the internet, so she always checks the cheat guide!
macole: I don't know. That is a real picture of the grand canyon. I saw it and instantly thought that Stormcrow must be there.

Nice shots. Those detection aides for stealthing make great sense. It is nice being able to pause combat to issue orders and control how quickly combat proceeds. A necessity really if you're controlling a group of NPCs. No doubt which one is Stormcrow in that last shot!

Acadian: It is definitely a lot easier to control the team in PoE2 than it was in the other games.
Lopov: You can explore the islands, but only from the strat map, which does not have anything on it for most islands. At best there are one or two spots where you click on an orchard and get some fruit in your inventory, or a pond and get water. Sometimes there is an old battle site or cemetery, which you click on and it gives you some text to search it. Hours go by, and you might be rewarded by an item or some money. Once in a great while there is an actual dungeon. You can see all these things from the strat map without having to actually land on the island and search for them.

Quite an explosion! With no gunpowder in TES of course, ESO has some quests where you can set off barrels of ‘kindlepitch’ as part of the quest to bring down a mineshaft or such.
Those fire giant are pretty darn big!
I expect there’s an interesting story associated with all those spirits.
Fireball arrows look pretty potent. I believe I do recall using them in BGII.

Jun 16 2020, 04:19 AM
macole: There is a lot of fire in my PoE games. Fire is one of the most prevalent of destruction type spells in them, and I like to use my wizard like the equivalent of calling in heavy artillery or an air strike. The rest of the party holds their position, while the wizard lobs one fireball after another right in front of them. Most of the bad guys don't live to reach my front line fighters.
Acadian: The fire giants were really cool. They are the chosen ones of Magran, the Fire Goddess.
All the spirits at the dock are from your first visit to the capital. An annoying harbor master comes to make fun of you and your crew for being Dyrwood farmers. Berath - the goddess of death and rebirth whose herald you are - suggests you show her your power. That is how.
The red winged twilight is actually just an imp. But one that has gotten really, really big. It is one of the most dangerous boss fights in the game.
Lopov: Demons make a party!
Renee: This is Pillars of Eternity 2, which I have been playing for about a month, and I just beat like a red-haired stepchild. Ph83R M3 N00b$!!

Acadian: It really does amaze me that Bioware could do such good animations for a game where you actually see so very little of the characters. Usually you are zoomed way out so you don't really notice many details. But Morrowind is all about being up close and in your face, and Bethesda failed so utterly at making characters move in any way whatsoever.
