A bowgirl with a horse! Woot! Even though you only get to choose gender, that close up shows that your character really does look good.
Renee
What is going on in the first picture? Seems like she's about to fly off a cliff?

I really love her STANCE. Even as she's watching that boat way in the distance she's got this way of standing. Ready for battle, or something.

Temple of Apollo = blink.gif huh.gif wub.gif Yes, that is what Elder Scrolls 6 will look like too.

Cripes, even the horse looks amazing!

*Renee G goes back to DX11 territory with her eyes watering...*

Acadian
Renee's comments are spot on.

Your game looks fabulous.

On that first picture, where is the other moon? Oh. . . nvm. embarrased.gif tongue.gif

On that first picture, where is the other moon? Oh. . . nvm. embarrased.gif tongue.gif

laugh.gif Is that Masser? Or Secunda? Oops wrong game. laugh.gif
SubRosa
Renee: That first pic was just a bench that I found floating in mid air. I was curious, so I jumped on it just to see if I could.

I would not get your hopes up too high about what Elder Scrolls 6 will look like. Bethesda has never been on the cutting edge of technology.

Acadian: No moons, just beams.

An Athenian trireme firing upon a pirate ship

Acropolis

Find the assassin

The deep blue

Manta

Butt Kraken
Acadian
That's a beautiful Athenian ship; I imagine the pirate ship did not last long.

Must be wonderful having an eagle you can send up for aerial reconnaissance.

Nice underwater and city shots.
Renee
Dang, what a scary minotaur. indifferent.gif I hope I never see that guy in my nightmares.

Yikes, she's got a flaming sword!

... The Aegean sea is pretty. Long ago when I first played Tomb Raider I loved those games not just because they are games, but also because I know I'll probably never go to Peru. Or Egypt. Or Cambodia, and so on. Going into the game was like going on a little vacation. biggrin.gif So looking at some of these AC pics gives me that same sensation.

Acadian
Great pics! And Renee is right, that is a well done minotaur.

Gosh it's hard to imagine the fact that ramming was, at one time, an effective nautical tactic and ship bows were actually made to do it. "Aye, bring her up to ramming speed, lads!" ohmy.gif
SubRosa
Renee: The Minotaur was really cool to fight.

One of the special abilities you can buy is to make your swords catch on fire. There is another one that makes them poisonous instead. I wound up going the fire route.

The game is really pretty looking. It reminds me of the first time I played Oblivion. It is a wonderfully open world, that after the beginning "Tutorial" section you are free to explore at will. Mostly, since some areas might be higher level areas than you are until later on.

Acadian: The Minotaur was really cool. There are Cyclopses (it looks like there are 3) were really neat too.

The Corinthians were never as good at sailing as the Athenians. So to even the odds at one point they reinforced the bows of their ships, and then started the tactics of ramming the Athenians head on in the first pass. It helped a little, but they still could never match Athens on the sea.

Balance

Athens

Some pirates were attacking Athenian ships. So Kassandra swam out and boarded the pirate ship.

The Athenians look on as Kassandra takes out the trash

Flipper!

Who didn't let the wolves out?

A Greek town
Acadian
Magnificent shots of Athens and that town. And what a neat shot of flipper in the air!
Renee
What game are these pics from?

Ha ha is that gravity pic a glitch? biggrin.gif Seems so.

Whoa, look at Kassandra. And look at the Cyclops. These newer generations of graphics are just stunning. I haven't been taking part of it yet. I feel like when I finally get a current-gen game system, my eyes are going to melt.

Is this Assassin's Creed?

SubRosa
It is Assassin's Creed Odyssey.
Acadian
I thought your character had a flying eagle familiar - not a flying horse. laugh.gif
Acadian
“Does this power armor make my butt look big? No. . . don’t answer that.”

The bigger they are, the harder they – you know.

I had a real chuckle over the work site safety comment.

That second set of power armor is really bright. It be da bomb.

Posing is a neat shot!
Acadian
Yikes and ugh! Slobberfish! laugh.gif ohmy.gif

Well, we’re certainly not going to lose Jan with that red skirt on!

Big city in the distance. Is that Vivec City? If so, I attribute my deduction from playing ESO (since I’ve never touched TES III).
SubRosa
Acadian: That is Vivec City in the background. I forget that with ESO you travel to many of the same places in the single player games.

I grew weary of Morrowind... being Morrowind. So I decided to move January's game over to Morroblivion.

This time January is a Nord in Morroblivion

Getting some gear

She still feels a bit like a fish out of water

But the skeleton crew keeps her spirits up

Oh rats!
Acadian
After thinking about it, seems Nord is perhaps a good choice for Jan seeing that she's a blonde with plenty of norse/viking lore.

A flying slaughterfish! tongue.gif

The skeelies any kin of Darrel?

Rats, why is it always rats!?!
Lopov
January comes in November!

Now that's some proper armor for tomb raidering.

I don't know who's more confused - the fish or January.

Hey, are these guys Larryl and Darryl?

Perhaps it was Lady Saga that summoned all those rats.
SubRosa
Acadian: I usually waffle about what exact race to make January. The last time I played her in Morroblivion it was as a Breton, since she is a magic-user. This time I decided to do something different and lean into her Viking heritage and make her a Nord instead.

I am not sure why, but an awful lot of slaughterfish in Morroblivion wind up either floating in mid air, or flopping around on land. I wonder if their spawn points were placed too near the land?

No Darryls for January. She's not really the summoning type. She does not want someone else fighting her battles for her. Though if she were to summon things, it would probably be elementals. Which I guess would mean Atronachs in this game.

January is not even in the Fighter's Guild, and she is still fighting rats!

Lopov: I love what you did there with January's name and the month.

The Chitin armor is definitely my favorite in Morrowind, followed closely by Bonemold.

No Larry or Darryl for Jan. She's not the summoning type, at least not of undead. Maybe someday she might call up elementals however.

I was thinking of Lady Saga when I saw all those rats too!

Fetching Archers!!!

Balmora Pride Week

Sneaky Stormcrow

A storm is coming in

Meeting Mr. Goodyear

Spying out the Bitter Coast
Acadian
Fetching archers gives a whole new meaning to the term ‘Bowgirl’. ohmy.gif

Aww, a rainbow over January – how appropriate!

A storm is coming in and her name is Crow!
Lopov
Everything's fine as long as there aren't any arrows in her knees.

Lovely rainbow - always a sign of something positive.

Must be difficult to sneak with that sword.

How does she manage to get all that hair under her helmet? biggrin.gif
SubRosa
Acadian: January is a rainbow crow. A RainCrow.

Lopov: January still is an adventurer like you...

Making that hair disappear is one of January's magic powers.

macole: It is similar to the way making yourself magnetic helps in attracting bullets...

Acadian: January is a rainbow crow. A RainCrow.

Fetching Archers Again!

Jan's got her night vision goggles on

Storm vs. Blizzard

January flies in from out of town

Read any good books lately?
Acadian
I like January's doo. The arrows don't add much though. tongue.gif

NVGs and the ability to fly - pretty handy, I'd say.

A very nice night sky with the moon twins on display.
Acadian
Having the high ground won’t save him from the Storm below.

Skeletons, skeletons and more skeletons!
Lopov
Nice outfit, goes well with her shield - or the other way around.

Aim for the groin, January! Maybe there's still something left.

The enemy in Shocking is one of 6th House beasts, right?

The fellow Nord girl packs a big axe.

January seems to be popular among skeletons. Maybe because of her name, January is a cold month after all.
SubRosa
Acadian: Everyone has a bone to pick with January...

Lopov: I love the oval black and yellow Morrowind ebony shield.

That shocked critter was one of the 6th House Ascended Sleepers, who are very Cthulhu-looking fellows.

Sunset on the Bitter Coast

The ion cannon will fire several shots to make sure any enemy ships will be out of your flight path.

Party Time!

On the lookout for danger

A little eye of newt... A little tongue of bat...

I visited the Dwemer ruins and all I got was this stupid postcard

Acadian
Beautiful sunset. And Jan’s pose is great as well – must be part of your Ob stable of mods as I’ve seen it before in your Ob shots from the past.

Oh, and Jan’s cooking!

A postcard? Gosh, not even a Dwemer t-shirt? tongue.gif
Acadian
Yowser, that's a lot of skellies!

A rock astronaut?

Hey, we recognize that moon and star lady in the distance.
macole
Bless my soul she's one Hot Patootie!
Acadian
*Cue strands of Jimi Hendrix* 'Let me stand next to your fire!'

Oh be still your beating heart. . . .

Azura looks quite a bit like the last time Buffy saw her.

*Cue more music* 'Blue skies, nothing but blue skies do I see.'
Renee
Ha I remember that silly Hot or Not contest. For a bit of fun, I used to go on a website called AmIHotOrNot.com, at which we could vote if somebody was Hot or Not, voting from 1 to 10. That's where I got the idea, except there was no 1 to 10 in that contest. As I recall, several of your characters placed well in the Modded category back then. wink.gif Crazy to think that was 10 years ago. sad.gif

Anyway, love Jan's armor. Her blade looks wicked. And if she's already meeting Dagoth Ur ... she's way ahead of Joanie! laugh.gif

Yicch... there's a heart involved? These are spoiler-pics for me, so good thing my memory sucks. By the time Joan gets this far (if she does) these images will be fresh to my eyeballs.

Wow, did you just b34t d@ g4m3 ???

Lopov
Hot without question!

January managed to defeat the threat of the Sixth House even before January officially begins!

January would make a bad cardiac surgeon.

Azura's also quite hot.
SubRosa
macole: She is even hotter than Fyre Festival.

Acadian: Excuse January, as she kisses the sky.

You might say that Lorkhan is a heartthrob...

Renee: I remember that hot or not website too, and your contest!

There is a heart involved. The Heart of Lorkhan, which is the heart of the world. It is where both Dagoth Ur and the Tribunal got their powers from.

January has beaten the main quest, and the Tribunal expansion, like red-haired stepchildren.

Lopov: January is hot blooded, check it and see.

The funny thing is it was Renee who inspired me to pick up Morrowind and Morroblivion again.

It's off to Mournhold we go

What do the google reviews say about this place?

Fabricants attack!

One of Her Hands

Battle Royale

This is a silly sword

Adding a straight flame to the curved sword... priceless

January is a millionaire!

The Pit and the Fabricant

Clockwork City

Someone got to Sotha Sil before January could

Poke the corpse

In the end, there could be only one

Lopov Shot

Azura, again

Maybe it is not the gods you slay, but the friends you make along the way?

That wraps up this version of January, at 100+ game hours
Lopov
Though I've been through it only once and forgot a lot of stuff, I do remember that I enjoyed the Tribunal DLC.

Google reviews - LoL! rollinglaugh.gif rollinglaugh.gif rollinglaugh.gif

Poke old Sotha to make sure that he's not pretending to be dead.

January battled against the Gods!

Azura has a lot to say to January.

Now how about Bloodmoon? The winter season isn't over yet.
Acadian
‘Fabricants attack!’ is very cool. Crazy looking critter.

Google? Heck, what does her PipGirl say about getting around in there? Oh. . . nvm.

Sotha Sil has seen better days, methinks.

In the end there could be only one. Pretty good, considering Jan’s a pale-skinned, round-eared outlander.
Acadian
Nice job creating Blood Raven - you surely got the hair and eye color right! biggrin.gif
Lopov
What a cool name - Blood Raven.

I'm with Acadian about hair and eyes. I'm assuming that the name will be fitting for battles as well.
SubRosa
Acadian: It is really hard making faces in Oblivion. I spent days working on it, and discarding one after another. The hair and eye colors were the only easy parts!

Lopov: Blood Raven is a literary character, from my Stormcrow fiction. She is a vampire fighter/mage of Irish and Viking descent.

Lounge chair

Broken shrine

Fetching archers!

Kings of Gondor

Argonath

The Righteous
Acadian
I see you still have the 'Going Potty' pose. biggrin.gif

Perhaps those are magnetic arrows going for Blood Raven's armor?

Rislav the Righteous!
Lopov
Does the first pic still classify as "sitting on the chair"? wink.gif

Blood Raven is a collector of arrows.

Nice pics of past kings and heroes.
